Not at all.

The only thing I miss about Korra is all the porn that didn't feature Asami.

No, fuck off.

nope, you just got worse every season

Yes alot

...

i love how some idiots on here hate this show and the idiots raging looks so funny

Salutations, Bryan!

Insulting others won't suddenly make them like your show.

You? Yeah, you were a blast and your game was surprisingly fun.

Your show? No, it was shit and all your friends (and enemies) are fuckwits.

I kind of want to take you out of your shitty show and put you in a work of fiction that isn't shit.

Like, I wanna see you in a Gundam series. You would make a fun Gundam pilot.

Guaranteed replies.

And someone is bound to forget to sage so this will keep getting bumped.

Even the porn has dwindled, that's the level of disappointing this show hit. AtLA still has art and fiction being made of it that actually respects the characters.

Yes
;_;

>Korra in a Gundam
She'd just be a cross between Judau and a less psychopathic Io.

Season 1 and 3 Korra was great. I missed that character------a bullheaded, straightforward character that preferred to solve problems with her fists and by intimidation, rather than diplomacy. Plus by season 3 it felt like her character was growing organically, rather than because the plot demanded it.

Season 2 tried to turn her into a spiritual messiah, and reset her character arc, while Season 4 required her to be all Aang 2.0.

Didn't mind the Korra and Asami as characters in the end. The ending was shit, but that more to do with the convoluted world building, not due to Korra and Asami as characters.

avatar threads are so shit now its fucking sad

Everyday

>Season 2 tried to turn her into a spiritual messiah, and reset her character arc, while Season 4 required her to be all Aang 2.0.
I disagree.
Season 2 presented her worse than Season 1 in terms of personality. She started to grew out of it by the end. Her arc in Season 1 was clearly "shit, at the end I DID solve it with my fists and then I was rewarded", so her spoiled personality resonated even stronger a season later, just to become better. By season 3 she was more mature while still keeping her original personality of a hotheaded girl, but she was far more reasonable when it came with interacting with people instead of being a cunt. After she was broken at the end of season 3, her pride was on the floor for most of the season and was constantly humilliated until she learned from Toph.

Maybe not all seasons were good, but Korra's arc was constantly moving foward and she never lost what made her Korra, and not Aang.

Korra as a character was perfectly written... except that stupid romance at the end.

>that fucking jeep

is this real?
i hadnt followed korra after dropping it the first season

Not really, you're objectively the worst avatar ever seeing as you're the first to strike out keeping the avatar spirit line intact.

how is it bad

In what world is Korra a blast? Her character was a whiny wimp who jobbed constantly, there was nothing interesting or even fun about her.

Are you from an alternate universe where Korra is a brown Lina Inverse, instead of being a whining ineffective loser? If so, how do I get to that universe?

...

I miss the hype you generated before, not the disappointment you delivered

No I'm serious, why do you think Korra is a good character when the best season in her show(Labeled the legend of KORRA) is ironically the season with the least Korra

Actually yes. Korra should have had at least one more season, preferably set in the Fire Nation.

I miss the discussions. It was 80% hate until season 3 but I still miss them. It's fun talking about a series every week. The only other cartoon I get that from is Steven Universe, but that's more character oriented and emotional so the discussions are different.

Do I miss Korra herself? Hell no. She was awful for the first two seasons. Plus I visit the threads on /u/ so I can't miss her.

Heck no.

No but I miss some of your supporting cast

We're two different anons m8.

>/u/
Don't they get triggered by western art/characters over there?

Nah, I'll be able to enjoy jacking off to porn of a lesbian taking cock for years thanks to you.

Good job, Bryke.

I miss Zhu Li

I miss your SFM porn

Why is the sentence structure and grammar of trumblr posts so much easier to spot than any other kind of posts?

literally who outside of varrick and tenzin were worth anything

I didn't like Toph as Yoda. I didn't like the fact that Toph was alive first of all, but I hated that she was spending all her time fucking around in a swamp.

I get that Korra was at an emotional low, but I think there should have been a different way to go about it. She went on two emotional journeys between S3-S4, and again early S4. I felt like the latter could have involved her grandmother, or Tenzin's family helping her pick herself up.

As for S2, S4----I guess I just see it differently. I don't see it as organic growth, and more of them trying to reuse aspects of ATLA but doing it really poorly. Agree to disagree on that point.

As for Korrasami,-------it's harmless to me. Of all of the issues I take with TLOK, their romance is so low it's not even worth hyping up. It is what it is----and at least S4 tried to give Asami something to do. Giving her anything to do has always been the series' biggest failing with regards to her character.

Her arc in season 4 was decent until the end when they had to hamfist some pseudo-Buddhist moral because Korra apparently had sooooo much in common with this character we barely knew, and we were supposed to believe that.

I'm still waiting for news on the comics.

I've only seen 3 or 4 posts complaining, Disney, western animation, Sup Forums, and /lit/ threads have been common for years. The rules say it's a Japanese only board but the mods don't listen to the rules unless you post something /d/, like futa or diapers. They even allow /ll/ despite the site rules banning it.

>I didn't like Toph as Yoda. I didn't like the fact that Toph was alive first of all, but I hated that she was spending all her time fucking around in a swamp.

Toph was easily one of the low points of the show. Making her older really showed just how a character like her loses their charm once they're not a kid anymore. And then she just became apart of more unnecessary Beifong family drama.

>nope, you just got worse every season

Most incorrect opinion I've seen on Sup Forums all day, congrats

The twins were great.

I explicitly remember them saying during season 1 that Katara was the only one of the Gaang alive. Then suddenly Toph and even Zuko pop up alive. Suki is presumably dead.

I hated what they did with Toph. She didn't mature at all as an adult. Her behavior was cute as a kid but it's awful once she hits 30.

>Books 1-3 Korra
Good.

>Book 4 Korra
This is not my beautiful wife.

Zuko was confirmed for alive before the show started airing, and the only other Gaang members confirmed for dead were Sokka and Aang. Everyone assumed Toph was dead too because she was just never brought up.

Korra has a similar problem as The Force Awakens and Ghostbusters 2016 where they're too obsessed with the previous franchise and cameos to tell their own story properly.

This actually wasn't a problem for books 1 & 2. Aang was brought up a lot but they also put a lot of emphasis on how Korra has to be her own Avatar and forge her own legacy. They started getting heavier with the ATLA references/cameos in book 3.

It wasn't as strong in Book 2 but in book 1 is was far too strong given how much of Korra's "arc" was about her having to contact Aang while being trained by Aang's son and then when she fucks it up beyond recognition guess who shows up to bail her out in the last second?

In retrospect I think the franchise would've been better served if they'd skipped a couple more generations instead of just the one.

I miss kuvira

There's an Avatar thread up right now but the well's kinda run dry. I went looking for cute & hot Korrasami art and I got a few decent pieces with everything else being below average.

It would have been better if they just told the story of the adult Gaang because that's what everyone wanted anyway

While it is my least favorite season, one of the things I loved about S2 is that it devoted an entire episode (not counting all of the times before and after this is brought up in the series), of shitting on Aang as a father. That for all of Aang's strengths in the series and in the comic, he was a very, very flawed parent. Similarly, I like Toph's portrayal as an equally shitty parent and imperfect person in the Republic City flashbacks in S1/S3. (Plus all of the times she's referenced by Lin and the other characters.) But her portrayal in the present day-----it's not so great.

Also, the idea that Aang's children would spend hours fighting and complaining about him and his thinly veiled favoritism to Tenzin was great. And despite my issues with Toph in S4, Lin's outburst at her in S4 was very cathartic, and well handled in my opinion. That doesn't absolve Toph as Yoda tho.

Not really, but I sure miss Lin.

>more romance and family drama
No thanks. I think people have a really idealized view of what a show starring the adult Gaang would be like.

I miss complaining about Suyin being a terrible parent to Kuvira.

LoK had some top tier waifus, I'll say that.

Pic unrelated

She's cute but it's hard for me to like her because of her batshit fandom and because of how little of a character she actually is. She's only really good for porn.

literally who outside of qt jinora before the trampstamps

Depends, would you want a depleted uranium bullet shot into the base of your spine?

>Similarly, I like Toph's portrayal as an equally shitty parent
Toph was not equally shitty, she was shittier.

Aang wasn't a perfect dad, just human.

Toph was just plain shitty.

Both make sense character wise.

>I miss complaining about Suyin being a terrible parent to Kuvira.

There are a ton of issues between Suyin and Kuvira that the show never bothers to acknowledge or deal with. That's kind of Suyin in general.

I really wish they'd gone through with her being a villain. Even if they ended up redeeming her after that she still probably would've ended up being more interesting.

>I hated what they did with Toph. She didn't mature at all as an adult
Do you really see Toph as the type to mature? Some people don't mature at all. Not that Byrke planned it that way, but I think Toph not maturing is plausible.

>Katara was the only one of the Gaang alive
She technically said "all of my friends were dead". Katara's a bitch too, so maybe she doesn't consider Zuko and Toph as her friends.

Daily reminder that Zuko knew Aang better than Katara did.

Intensely.

I liked that aspect as well. I've seen a lot of people disagree, but I feel like it showed Aang's character actual respect. He would totally be focused on Tenzin, and Tenzin would grow up with a very warped view of himself in his father's shoes as a result. It felt like something that would actually happen and could be explored, unlike Zuko, who was all but a glorified cameo, and Toph, who never felt like Police Chief material and definitely never needed two daughters bickering at each other.

I wish they talked more about the reigning Firelord

The Fire Nation's history over the past 70 years seems to be not explored at all

I didn't like how Katara was made into the kindly village healer.

LoK in general needed more Blood Magic, that seemed to end with Amon.

Toph's situation was probably the most realistically written thing in the entire show.

Sadly, we all know the comics will ignore Suyin's horribleness and portray her as an angel. I hope we get some Kuvira childhood flashbacks at least. I want to see how their relationship was growing up.

>tfw no one on Sup Forums loves Korra like I do

I miss the fight scenes and the waifus
youtube.com/watch?v=YdwdBmuDjZ0

The comics and certain episodes of the series (really anything relating to or showing Air Temples) showed cracks in his personality that never really went away with Ozai's defeat.

Like how a year or two after S4 ended Aang's obsession with preserving the past----and by extension supporting a very segregationist postwar movement by the Earth King----eventually led to a rift in his and Katara's relationship, and having a meltdown over a fan club over him and the Air Nomads (which would eventually be the precursor to the Air Acolytes shown throughout Korra) which he viewed were a living insult to everything his old culture stood for.

And yeah those specific cases of bitterness and deifying the past ended, but it isn't surprising at all that he'd attempt to mold Tenzin into this living embodiment of Aang's culture's lost glory.

>my firebrother.

>Books 1-3 Korra
>Good

They were the worst Korra. She became a better character when she wasn't herself, funny enough.

It's not Asami's fault that she was bullied into being gay by her ex-boyfriend and the fandom.

eh, I miss all the shows that bring me back to a nostalgia past that helps me forget about how much the world sucks and how we're all going to grow old and die someday.

SHOW US YOUR BOOBS

We had Korra as a Gundam pilot.
Her name was Kamille Bidan.

Oh fuck off, Korra was good in books 1 and 3.

Yeah but she's still boring and a plank of wood has more personality

I miss your supporting cast. I'll never miss your dumb ass.

nope.

No. This show was weird. Giant spirits fighting, a fucking mecha, romance shit.
I miss ATLA and the classic team avatar.

Nick dosent

>we'll never see the lesbian adventures of a younger kya

No, not really.

TWINKIE WIENER SANDWICH

The forced 1930's New York aesthetic + industrialism was a terrible idea

so true, it lost all of the charm last airbender had

Agreed. It's impossible to get any worse from season 1. It just stayed at the lowest possible tier all the way through.

short hair korra was C U T E

>Miss me yet, Sup Forums?

never in a million years

>Tron Uprising, Green Lantern TAS, Young Justice, Motorcity, Sym-Bionic Titan, etc all get cancelled prematurely
>LoK gets four shitty seasons

fuck this gay earth

They were westernizing when one of the major appeals was the eastern aesthetics

And the fucking mechas were stupid as hell

Actually, I do.

Korra was a deeply flawed show, but I liked it. I liked the characters and wish I could dive deeply in the universe and know them more.

Also, the show's flaws are only really bad because it's a really good show, and it has nothing to which we can compare it besides the original show.

>we'll never get to see the adventures of the old team avatar after defeating the fire lord

What is this gay shit.

Will you conquer every fucking settlement for her Sup Forums?

for a psychopathic cunt? no.

That's not a very nice thing so say.

Maybe if you had been naked the entire show.
