There isn't just one. The way we swear, the way we form them, it's like we're forming normal sentences.
Sure there are some sentences which are common, and used by everyone but nobody's stopping you to do a
little remix of them to add that extra anger. Our most common targets in swearing are politicians, family members,
and religious figures.

can you also tell me the rough translation to English?

"[person or animal] fucks your [family member] (optional: in any orifice)"

I'd love to, dear user.

So, Usually a paragraph of swearing starts with either "ħaqq" or "f'għoxx", "ħaqq" means "damn"
or "curse" while "f'għoxx" means fuck (lit. in the cunt). A short history about "ħaqq", it's start
as a curse word comes from an old and no longer used insult, "jaħraq qaddisek", which means
"may your saint burn", usually the saint that the person being cursed at was named after. Now,
after you choose between "ħaqq" or "f'għoxx" what's next is choosing what you want to curse.
Are you cursing at someone? A family member it is. Pissed off about something? A religious
figure or a politician it is then. So let's say I'm angry because I dropped something heavy on
my leg, me personally would shout something like "F'għoxx il-liba Madonna!", a classic.
So there you have "f'għoxx", which means fuck,"Liba" means "cum" but we use it in a somewhat
similar manner to how "asshole" or "cunt" are used in English. "Madonna" is of course our
beloved Holy Mary. Now, of course if you are REALLY angry. You won't stop there. So you'll
say another sentence, something like this other classic: "Ħaqq il-bagħal Alla!", "Bagħal" means
"bastard" and of course, "Alla" means "God". So to conclude, "F'għoxx il-liba Madonna!
Ħaqq il-bagħal Alla!" roughly translates to "Fuck the Holy Mary that cunt! Damn God that bastard!"

This is just scraping the surface, but of course I'm limited here and I'm not good at explaining stuff.

can't think of anything
the most powerful insult is fils de pute (son of a bitch)
our insults aren't very original

son of a whore*

what

absolutely barbaric, I love it. thanks for sharing, user

Du Blödmann!

Peristocrata

Anytime. I enjoy talking about this filth. Here's another one: "F'għoxx dak il-liba ħanżir Alla!",
which roughly transaltes as "Fuck that pig God, that asshole."

I find it weird that even though in Maltese you call god "Allah" you're mostly catholic (I think)

give me some examples in Slovenian please, I'll probably be able to understand them. the form you posted is very similar to how Serbians swear as well.

Alla* and it is our word for god, any god. Allat is our word for Gods, for example. It's part of having a Semitic language. Which is funny, since most of our religious related vocabulary is actually Romance. And yeah, we're mostly Catholic.

funny, alat in Serbian means tool or tools

I like those funny coincidences, like how Loki is a god to the Nords and for us, the word means toilet. Also, when using the word Alla, if we're referring to the Christian one, we capitalize the A, if not, then we don't. So it's Alla, but Nettunu, l-alla tal-baħar (Neptune, god of sea).

If you can ask yourself this question your language doesn't remotely have enough swear words

I miss when people used to call each other this tbqh

All our swear words are innocent.
We use russian and polish for that.

Problem is swearing is so normalized in danish culture that there isn't any profoundly disgusting swear.
There are of course some words for genitals which are less swears, but are more generally disgusting, like "Fjappe", "Fjams", Kǿdplǿk etc.
Perker seems to shock the most however, as it's a racial slur geared towards people from the Middle East

"nigger" is probably the edgiest thing you can say in English

what about spook, spade, jiggaboo, coon?

Best city in Italy is a swearword?

Didn't know Milano was a swear

>pa znači jeben ti mater i babu i pasa pizda ti se ogadila pederu mali koji ti je kurac u toj bolesnoj glavici savjet ti je ubit se odma
Everyone here swears like a carriage rider. If it's among friends, it's perfectly normal to constantly use swear words.

>Milano
>better than Venice
nice meme

Yes, I heard that you Croats swear a lot, like us. Some people here just erupt into swearing mid-sentence without knowing.

cock smoker

Autista de merda is always satisfying

Have sworn in every sentence since I was 10

>jebo ti pas nerodjeno dete
yeah, it's pretty normal

My swearing history doesn't go that far. Maybe a "ħaqq" occasionally. But in these last few years, it really turned bad.

In yugo languages you could just go on about how you fucked someones mother on his fathers grave etc

>a dog fucked your unborn child
that one is a bit extreme, even for a serb

Meanwhile all black people say it each day

failed abortion

People say jebote in the beginning of every sentence. Its basically like starting every sentence with "fucking"

>Some people here just erupt into swearing mid-sentence without knowing.
Yup, same here. I accidentally swore in front of my family quite a few times. It's little stories just like with you. Mostly about whom and whose mother you fuck.

Came completely naturally, didn't notice it until I said it.

Yeah, that happens. Especially when you're burning in anger.

Russian: Блядь (and subsequent forms), Уёбoк, Шaлaвa, Bыблядoк etc.
Ukrainian: Кypвa, Ляpвa, Шльoндpa etc.
Italian: Italian swearwords sound goofy and aren't all that offensive imo, I guess coglione would be the most offensive one

Nobody really says those anymore, it's like calling someone a bohunk. They're still offensive, but "nigger" has been considered the absolute worst thing a white person could possibly say for a long time.

Most people here seem to make up their own if they want the swear to have any sort of power(usually by combining a few sexual words) since swearing isn't really all that taboo here. Though probably . Racial slurs is probably the most shocking we have since SJW society and all that. Though interestingly I remember people using neger/nigger well into the 2000s without any real repercussions for it.

youtube.com/watch?v=-VvV4e6v4Hs

Remember to activate subs.

I understand this is the case in a country like the USA where you have many skin colors, but in Serbia, people don't even realize "nigger" is offensive most of the time

thanks, user

The word for black person in general is "negr" in Slavic languages, isn't it?

Immigrationpolitics

That's just going to far user, there is a line between saying a few naughty words and that kind of horrible language, and you just crossed it.

no, we don't have such a thing. in Serbian the only translation for "nigger" would be "crnja" which kind of translated to "blackie" (crno = black) and it isn't really offensive and there's even a place in Serbia called "Srpska Crnja" - translated to "Serbian nigger"
>Name of the village comes from Serbian words "srpska" (meaning "Serb", "Serbian") and "crno" (meaning "black").

taken from: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Srpska_Crnja

it's just that in our culture, we don't have any influence on it by black people, as we were pretty isolated from them since basically forever. even today it's really rare to see any blacks in most slavic countries

Its varied.
More mild swears and curses are stuff like "Hiisi vieköön" (Hiisi is mythical being) = (may) Hiisi take (you = the problem or subject to that curse).
There is of course variants of this particular curse: "Piru /Hiisi vieköön" are more tame than "Perkele/Saatana/Helvetti vieköön". So there's bit of ranking so to speak.
Then there's the lovely cursewords of our language which too have bit of ranking: hitto (heck) is quite tame, vittu (fuck) is more rough and vulgar while helvetti (hell) Perkele and Saatana (Satan, duh) are the ones if you want some feel and power to your speaking or swearing.
Ultimate swearing is to use Saatana, helvetti and Perkele and just shout one word repeatedly = SAATANAN SAATANAN SAATANA (SATANS, SATANS SATAN so by repeating you are shouting out the worst.
Satan = bad
Satans satan = even worse
etc.
Or you can mix all the aforementioned words in a constant slur for as long as you like.

Insults are what you can probably guess: queer, gay, fag, cocksucker, wanker, whore, bitch etc.

truly beautiful. thank you for sharing

Kmica and crnčuga. But yeah, those are new words, and pretty much only widespread among the youths and used only in joke.

Yeah, offensive words are shaped by who you have to deal with. We have a ton of rude words to call black people and Hispanics, but I would imagine you wouldn't have many insults for Mexicans but would have plenty of rude words to insult all your neighbors.

Most swears arent really profound tb.h, kinda like what this guy said >takây (tug-eye)
means cock, i guess would technically be the most profound, but calling someone a takây will just get everyone laughing.
>cisk (chisk)
>pic related
means ass. Usually just said in the same manner as saying “fuck” when something goes wrong
>mitîson (mit-ee-soon)
shit

Neat. In Sweden all the old Christian swears are so tame they are just seen as regular old words now.

My favorite one is Satan i gatan = Satan in the streets

you get it, that's exactly what I meant. we have a derogatory term for almost every European nation that intertwines with our history to some degree, but not really any insults that are based on skin color.

Any good insults for Americans? There's a ton of cheesy Serbian anti-American music from the 90s out there so I imagine there must be.

English swear words are very blunt and simple. Screaming them is quite good for stress/pain relief. The most powerful swear word is probably "Cunt", which is very fun to say.

It's funny, in America "cunt" is not really an insult you yell aloud, it's more of something you say in a low voice when you're seething with rage towards a particular person. People yell "fuck!" a lot instead.

vittu kulli paska pillu perse pornolehti

nope, not any that I'm aware of. "Amer" (singular" "Ameri" (plural) is the most common way to say "American", although one could argue it's not an insult really. It's kind of like saying "Serb" instead of "Serbian", which some people find to be a little derogatory. But yeah, Serbians only really dislike Americans because of their involvement in the breakup of Yugoslavia and the bombing in 1999. And since it's fairly recent, there's no real insult, as opposed to let's say, Germans. The most common one would be "Švaba" (pronounced as "Shvaba"), which basically means cockroach, and I believe it originated in the world wars, and the black German helmets. There simply isn't enough time to develop such terms for Americans.

>Švaba" (pronounced as "Shvaba"), which basically means cockroach
It's because of Swabia (Švapska) which is a region in Germany.

right, that's what it was. thank you for the correction, user

We have "Futu-ti mortii matii" which rougly translates to "I'll fuck your mother's dead relatives".

What language is this?

>Serbs have no influence from black people
Try saying that to a BLACK TÜRK WARRIOR when he comes back to reclaim his rightful Balkan land

turks aren't originally black though

The big zagib (kink) of Peter the Great consists of 260 swear words. A very few people can even pronounce it.

Um try again sweetie xxxx

okay but there aren't enough of them to have an influence

Some of the words have had their meaning changed throughout the time.
1st the word "piru": before christianity Piru was a mythical being. Devious, devilish little misfit who'd do at least pranks for the household and at worst would kill cattle, destroy foods, crops etc.
After christianity Piru became synonymous with the christian depiction of devil: red skin, horns on head, tail citizen of Hell and servant for Satan etc.

Same thing happened to Perkele: before christianity Perkele was our god of thunder. But after christianity became widespread missionaries, priests, clergy etc. started using Perkele as replacement word for The Devil, Satan - the ultimate evil in hopes of getting rid of our "pagan" gods and what not. And it worked.
For centuries Perkele = Satan and it highest form of profanition due to religion having such influence.
But when the original meaning came back and srarted to spread Perkele lost some of its evil so to speak but not the power it holds.

very interesting information, thank you for sharing

>"Fotze"
>Fotze said to a woman is one of the most offensive insults in the German language. In the sense of "vulva" it is also a highly vulgar and pejorative word.
>en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Fotze#German
