The part about modern day leftism is really good.
He predicted todays SJWs twenty years ago.

It's a good read but he repeats himself to often.

When will they learn?

He's a bright guy. If he didn't bomb people he probably wouldve gone places in life.

Have some knowledge. Here is a letter he wrote, you can get the full unedited director's cut. Called "Technology Slavery"

It's in the public domain, but some ((())) has it for sale for $20

Can one of you build a tiny robot or app to draft this version on a PDF or some shit? The irony in asking someone to use technology to make anti-technology book available for the mases. Kek

Hitler predicted SJWs and SJW behaviour 90 years ago

His greatest work was creating the concept of "power process". Great chapter. Too bad he gave the concept such a retarded name. "power process".

This is not Ted. Why would ted have an address and a website? Also Ted didn't publish Technological Slavery

power process? how is that retarded... grow up kid

If his works are this good how come literally no one knows him tho?

really?

Are you kidding?
He's a convicted terrorist, no one is openly gonna talk about his works in a good way if he does not want his reputation ruined.

The same reason the general public know very little about the good things Hitler did

Here's the power process: the overthrow of technology will never happen because technology gives people power. Those who give up technology will be ruled over by those who use technology. That we can overthrow the system is completely delusional.

However, he had some great insight and he recognized the situation that humanity finds itself in it. It's depressing but we're trapped, but killing people and sending out bombs isn't going to change anything. If we are able to adapt in any way or make any positive change to free ourselves from this technological slavery then the change has to come from an individual level across multiple individuals. I'm incredibly pessimistic that this is possible.

Oh well, enjoy unthinkable psychological and physical suffering in the coming decades. System isn't going to crumble. At least some will lead good lives. Not many though. Swallow that fucking pill.

I do

I never quite understood the power process concept. I get understand that a man receives less satification when the government does his survival for him, but when he talks about surrogate tasks not being satisfying doesn't make sense to me. For example he says a runner is never satisfied because he wants to increase his time, which makes sense, but a wouldn't a runner be satisfied with winning a race because with it comes fame, and possibly money, which he can use to find potential mates or open more options in life?

This dude is so funny. The ultimate troll.

All those silly bombs that barely went off...

All those silly people who said "Hey!!!! AAhhhh! Who would do this!!!!"

Hahahahaha.

>wouldn't a runner be satisfied with winning a race
No-one is ever satisfied with anything.
Plus everyone is always undoing what you did in realtime.

The man responsible for modernizing the postal system.

Thanks Ted!

His homemade firearm was pretty funny, too.

Seriously! This guy was a fucking joker!

Everything he did was super silly.

The Tickler.

>open a package
>feel a tickle

You just got TED'D!

His entire part on liberalism was incredibly apt for the present day modern world.

Most of what he said was correct. I believe his point about wanting to remove technology for the most part is correct, however obviously will never happen.

We are in a catch-22 situation where technology is important and the masses will never let it go, but it surely will be the demise of our species.

>No-one is ever satisfied with anything
Such a vague statement. I would say I'm very satisfied with my life right now. In no way am I struggling to pay rent or buy food. I will admit there are times where I feel a lack of accomplishment or I get very bored in my life, but isn't that why we do surrogate tasks? A good example is: I was on holiday in Italy and I climbed mt. Vesuvius. When I reached the top I didn't think "well shit now I need to climb a higher mountain", I felt a accomplishment and was stratified with complete a task that required a fair amount of excerise. Another example is video games, when I complete a game I feel a sense of achievement, I believe Stefan molynuex talked about this in a video, although I will admit when I complete a game o feel bored and so I feel the need to complete another one

...

Are you praising a mentally ill murderer because he spoke bad of muh SJWs one time

Guess I can kill people too as long as I state that (((SJWs))) are literally (yes literally) the greatest threat western civilization is facing right now. Libtards are going to eradicate the white race, believe me.

You're talking about finite achievements. If you apply this "not satisfied" rhetoric to something like art and life, the horizon always shifts. Does too with games and climbing in a sense.

Uncle Ted, then Tim McVeigh then Brievik.

I was pretty far on the left when I first read his manifesto out of simple curiosity.

It made me realize how brainwashed I really was.

is anyone gonna post a link to said manifesto?

I certainly doubt ted going full capitalistic, it just looks weird

doorofperception.com/wp-content/uploads/The-Unabomber-Manifesto.pdf

Can't be bothered to use a search engine?

Have you even read his manifesto?
Most of the things he wrote are 100% accurate.
Not gonna say that his killings were justifies, man. But the line between genius and insanity is very thin.

>He's a "terrorist" so everything he says is bullshit
Is this what germs really believe?

>the fallacy fallacy

A professional runner never gets to make use of all of his mental facilities. It's a monotonous activity that requires no effort from his brain. But a hunter who kills his prey in new creative ways that he invented himself will make use of all of his mental facilities. That's why the hunter is satisfied with his simple life.

Biology adapts to the environment and In our industrial society the economical environment demands us to be docile, subservient consumer cattles with low IQ who works hard, collects our wageslave salaries and spends it all on rent and useless consumer products. We need to be good consumer cattle who never questions why the value of our money is sinking every day and forces us to either spend all of our savings or to invest it quickly in usury bonds or a housing bubble that's about to crash any second now and devalue our capital even more, which makes the poor even poorer and the rich even richer

You wouldn't be able to do all of those surrogate activities if our industrial society didn't take care of you from cradle to grave, and guess what? Your priveleges are only made possible because of the explotation of the lowest classes. The leftists are right about that one, well I mean Karl Marx was right and not them. His critique against capitalism is timeless and 100% correct

I guess that makes but no one forces an artist to make art. The power process philosophy is really the only thing I disagree with. He's right that leftist want more technology because it means society to be controlled easier, and that people are leftist because of low self esteem. But what he says about power process makes it seem like he thinks people will be more satisfied if we were all primitive. I disagree with this because the whole point of life (to me) is the survival of genetics, so theoretically I should be more satisfied in a society where I can I walk down the road and get for for myself (and in the future my kids) without risking my safety, instead of a society where I would have to risk my life to obtain food for myself because if I were to die I could no longer pass on my genetics, or if I had children then if I were to die that would put their safety at serious risk

>reading this guys shit

Are we that fucking desperate that we're doing this now?

no, no i cannot

thank you my good jerkwad
my dads side of the family immigrated to america from poland.
stay strong brother.

Oh no I agree with you there, my privileges rely on the exploitation of the lower class, but why would that make me unsatisfied?

I guess that you're on the other side of the fence then. Ted is vehemently anti-technological whereas you believe technology will benefit human evolution. I'm not anti-technological but I do agree with him that it's poses inherent dangers.

Because that sort of system can't hold. First off society can't function when it's filled with people like you who have no regard for human life. Every society demands lots of empathy and high trust, which is usually brought by having a homogeneous population.

Secondly we've set up a dysgenics program that is actively devolving the human race to subhuman levels and keeping the absolutely worst and the most useless people alive on welfare so that they can plop out more children and spend their welfare money on rent and consumer products. Thanks to these people's insanely high birthrates the world is soon going to be overrun by the products of this dysgenics program. That's not a future can hold for very long.

>some will lead good lives. Not many though
that was true since the beginning of mankind

the fucks wrong with you?

Since the beginning of economy, not mankind

Of course, it's like saying that life in the past was all sunshine and rainbows. Ted addresses this in his writings, and of course it would be fucking naive to think that we need to go into the past and everything would be better. It wouldn't and we can't in any case.

It's about the different dimensions of suffering that those who do not have it "good" will have. But you have to consider that many people who theoretically have "everything" still kill themselves. I would argue that physical suffering is still there but it is the psychological suffering that will reach untold magnitudes as we become more technologically advanced.

I'm surprised this guy isn't brought up more here. He's practicality Sup Forums incarnate.

Intelligent outcast who was bullied in youth because of awkwardness. Went paranoid and crazy and will die alone a miserable, filthy wreck.

is dying alone bad?

We all die alone, right?

I don't know, he is mentioned here at a reasonable frequency but his work isn't very accessible to most people. He's not exactly crazy but indeed he was delusional. Bombs and terrorism don't change or bring down systems, they solidify them. I think it's better not to realize what is happening with the world and where it is heading. It makes you miserable, it can make you alone.

wtf, where are points 1-5, 7, and 8?

Were they anti-racist, or pro feminist or something so some Sup Forumsack deleted them?

I guess so. Its all in mind. You are literally dying alone even if you are surrounded by your family and grandchildren.

Psst. SJWs existed 20 years ago in the same form.

It reads like the long version of Al Gore's Earth in the Balance.

I'd love to see Ted at a TED Talk, but there's that whole Supermax Prison thing.....

hes just jelly that technology is forcing most of the people to live unfulfilled lives cuz they are needed to support the system
its cuz nature of man is to independently provide and overcome obstacles set to his goal to feel truly fulfilled

I disagree that a society Luke this can't hold because this type of society has been around since the Roman empire. And I wouldn't say realising where my privileges come from means I have no regard for human life, I feel like you have a mindset that states my landlord should'nt own my flat, rather the the people who built it should (I may be wrong but that's what I'm interpreting it as)

I completely agree with the welfare argument however, poor people should not be given money for being poor they should be given the opportunity to make money and no longer be poor

How much did MKUltra fuck with his mind and how much of his terrorist activities and philosophy is induced by MK-Ultra brainwashing?

Jelly has now officially been hijacked to mean jealous.

>Jelly-generation == millenials

Fuck!! You want to measure that?

ad hom homo

The man is a genius, and to see such wasted potential saddens me. The FBI could have at least forced him to work for them for free instead of just incarcerating him. I honestly don't care how many people he killed, none of them, combined even, would have attributed to the advancement of man more than he can. I mean, for Christ's sake, he was solving Laplace transformations at 16. Fucking 16. Yet we have him locked up with pieces of shit, the absolute dregs of society. Men like him should be allowed to do whatever the fuck the want to lesser beings. How often do great minds like this come along? Such a waste, a fucking waste.

To simply call him "bright" is an insult. He is an inspiration to all mathematicians both young and old. More people should adopt his work ethic.

You advocate for free market capitalism. This is a system that's driven by manipulation exploitation in the most disgusting ways imaginable. It's a system that only rewards those with the least regard for human life. Could it work? Well, that depends on what your definition of 'works' is. The economy will thrive (whatever that means), the value of your capital will artificially increase. But will humanity be in a good condition? No, absolutely not. It will be hell on earth. Completely unregulated capitalism will inevitable kill the environment and all the neat creatures on earth and start endless for-profit wars.

You think capitalism drives innovation? It doesn't. The only innovation that capitalism drives is the innovation to come up more ways to trick people into paying more and more for shittier and shittier products and services.

Because people are stupid and believe everything the media tells them instead of doing research for themselves.

>work ethic
What did he mean by this?

Having a functioning economy is not the same as having a functioning society because some sort of an economy will always exist, no matter what

>He predicted todays SJWs twenty years ago.

John Kennedy Toole did in the 50s

If your IQ was over 165, I wouldn't give a fuck what you do, just as long as you make suvstantial advancements in any field of your choosing for the betterment of mankind. What's a few measly thousand lives anyway? If they aren't intelligent or talented, they're existence literally serves no purpose.

Capitalism works because it goes hand in hand with human nature, people ultimately care more about themselves than other people. The only thing that's better than capitalism is fascism but I don't see that coming back anytime soon

>Muh illegal opinions!!

I've discussed him with my co-workers and openly suggest they read his writings. It probably helps that I'm not a spineless German

I mean that by age 20, he had graduated with top marks from Harvard, had a PhD in mathematics, and became a professor to help produce more proficient mathematicians. Is this not an example of a strong work ethic, a insatiable drive for success, the very realization of the American Dream? Tell me, do any of us here have any accomplishments that can be compared to his, especially at that age? The answer is fuck no. There may never be another Ted Kaczynski, which is a fucking shame.

nailed it

They perfected it in a lab before they brought it out in the field, guaranteed.

That's not true. Capitalism works because it's the only self-regulated economic system we've ever invented that works perfectly exactly like it's supposed to, by itself, without any human intervention. The system is predictable and fair. It's fair because everybody who has chosen to be a part of society has bought into the system and accepted the terms and conditions and they know exactly what to expect from it.

Capitalism is simply a god that we've chosen to worship and allowed to take complete control over our lives.

Also, fascism IS capitalism. It's called state capitalism. It's a merger of state and corporate powers.

1-5 were about the anti-tech stuff and the rest of the manifesto
7. But what is leftism? During the first half of the 20th century leftism
could have been practically identified with socialism. Today the movement is
fragmented and it is not clear who can properly be called a leftist. When we
speak of leftists in this article we have in mind mainly socialists, collectivists,
"politically correct" types, feminists, gay and disability activists, animal rights
activists and the like. But not everyone who is associated with one of these
movements is a leftist. What we are trying to get at in discussing leftism is
not so much a movement or an ideology as a psychological type, or rather
a collection of related types. Thus, what we mean by "leftism"will emerge
more clearly in the course of our discussion of leftist psychology. (Also, see
paragraphs 227-230.)
8. Even so, our conception of leftism will remain a good deal less clear
than we would wish, but there doesn't seem to be any remedy for this. All
we are trying to do here is indicate in a rough and approximate way the
two psychological tendencies that we believe are the main driving force
of modern leftism. We by no means claim to be telling the WHOLE
truth about leftist psychology. Also, our discussion is meant to apply to
modern leftism only. We leave open the question of the extent to which
our discussion could be applied to the leftists of the 19th and early 20th
centuries.

I fully believe and accept that. That's solely why I disregard my family, I have no kids and i'm prepared for the coming shit storm.

I tell it how it is and most human beings care for themselves solely and no other. I'm just supposed to forgive my family for being niggers 10x throughout my life??? Fuck that eat a dick nigger

>the very realization of the American Dream?
You're too much of a fanboy.

Ted was right of center for sure, and he wan't unique in his intelligence, even today.

They perfected WHAT.... exactly?

What was the point of sending bombs to random people

I have browsed it, he was right about a few things, but too much anti-technology and indawoods for me.

There was no internet to shitpost your ideas in back then so he killed a bunch of people in order to advertise his schizo wall drawings

To kill people that were making advances in technology to prevent further modernization.

Isn't that a bit naive?

lets see. You were talking of mkultra and I said they perfected it in a lab before conducting field research???

They probably thought they had perfected it before jonestown, but imagine the time frame they had from now till then to actually perfect it???

It's been in play for many years so what the fuck do you expect? I don't have all the answers although i'd like to.

They perfected mind control and the whole handler/mkultra victim

>They probably thought they had perfected it before jonestown,
What do you mean by 'it'?

MKULTRA?

What is MKULTRA?

btw i'm severely drunk of good beer and I have no clue what i'm talking about, the drunk part is for real though

rephrase:

Why was MKULTRA?

just send me some gbl in the mail and shut your mouth.

Do your own research you dumb pollack, don't take a single word of what I say as truth. I'm drunk not to mention I have no clue what i'm talking about.

The same reason why germcucks believe in the Holocaust

Not sure if joking, but if not

Please enlighten, I honestly want to know

Gotcha lmao!

eventually you will end up like in the matrix . strapped to a machine that sucks your lifeforce away - for the benefit of the 1%

and how is that a good thing?

You really, don't know shit about the subject of Unabomber, do you? It's pretty well know that Ted Kaczynski was one of 22 Harvard students that were subjects of MK-Ultra program. They wanted to test mind control abilities and inducing dangerous ideas for the foreign as well as domestic purposes. Before he was legitimate genius, maybe slightly into autistic spectrum, people that knew him said that he was acting differently after the "experiments".

My guess that he was one of the early subjects that responded well. He probably internalised it too much and after they were done with him, collected their data and set him free he want on this rampage. His personal philosophy amalgamated with all this mind warping philosophy they put him through, fueled and spiced by his recolection of horrible things goverement made to him.

Behaglich...

but seriously, my whole highschool in ny was high on GBL at one point it's fucking nuts to think of it. That is one hell of a drug and it has less lasting effect of any other i've severely abused.

Keep the gbl business going polbro

I'm pretty sure, based on your assumptions that I've researched him and mkultra a bit more than you have.
Tell me then, or educate me on what the purpose of MKULTRA (mind-control?) was. Please?
