Paranatural

>the name of his spirit? no, no, the C in ''King C.'' stands for ''Cool''... and Isaac is talking to himself.

This comic is so slow.

>Getting angry and then just never stopping for ages

Well damn, this is getting relatable

It's another "zack can't write" strip!

Isaac just needs to suck some dick. That'll cure his bitching.

Kindly go back to Paheal, user.

The random background spirits hanging out have always been one of the better parts of this comic. Glad to see them here.

Not everything's about porn, user. Isaac is obviously struggling internally with his latent homosexuality. Thus the bitching.

Is that fat child balding?

>Playing MtG on Sand
That's a good way to fuck up yr cards bros

Apologize for what, his "YOU OWE ME" to Max in Ch5-p25? Rip in peace, Tumblr

>"Him"

Max, how the hell can you screw up hiding your own Day info (for your own investigation) when you already know people will kill for it...

>"...and EVERYONE ELSE"

I don't know what exactly to ask about regarding anyone, so no comment for now.

Also, am I the only one noticing how Isaac's T-shirt somehow changes from a V-neck → round-neck → V-neck again throughout this chapter?

They probably laminated the sand to protect their cards.

I'm seriously not one to nitpick this comic, but am I the only one here who thinks the second to last panel is fucking stupid?

Honestly he never needs to stop doing this. It's clearly fun for him, and it absolutely saves any page with no/slow progression.

I like it, good visual.

>puberty.png

Probably. It's a pretty simple visual metaphor. You understand what's going on there, right?

Zack pls

I'm not arguing that it makes no sense, it just looks retarded. There are more impactful ways to convey emotions than
>"I'm so twisted up inside. Look, scribbles, the inside of my head is a literal mess"

Are there more impactful ways? Very likely. Does that mean the panel is stupid? Not really. It conveys its point simply. Like you said, it's pretty nitpicky.

>It conveys its point simply
That's cool and all, but it's still half-assed and it legitimately looks bad

I don't think there's an actual issue with that panel. It's by no means an amazing 5 star panel, but it doesn't actually stand out to me as bad. I look at it and think "Okay, yep that matches the description. Moving on." I'm just not seeing what you're seeing. Zack often includes retarded panels in his pages but this isn't one of them.

The Hack once again showing his skills in telling not showing.

The faceless people are taking over

Isaac having anger issues has been a thing for awhile, this is just Isaac himself dealing with it internally. I mean, fuck, Isaac and Max are the two characters that sperg out the most when shit happens. Max more ghost stuff and Isaac more people being weird and avoiding his questions. And it's digging into it more in depth in a way you can't really show. Or at least show without context, which is being outline here.

It's not the best plotting and it's not the best writing, but it's not like this whole story is "Me Isaac. I mad." Hell, even this page provides a good enough room for implied implications with what's bothering Isaac beyond holding onto rage.

>"Me Isaac. I mad."

Add "僕は大嫌い" in there and you'll have what most, if not all, of Tumblr thinks of Isaac as a whole...which is pretty sad.

>King C
I realize this is basically American Kid Friendly Jojo but god damn it Zach

Why are they mad at eachother again? I can't remember.

Isaac partially buddied up to Max because he was excited there was some new kid in the club who he didn't have baggage with and could possibly funnel him information. After his first mission, Max isn't feeling too up for doing that with what he's learned, and Isaac gets mad at him for holding out. When he brings up that Isaac showed him his secret, Doorman, and that Max owes him, Max points out that that's not how friendships work and gets mad.

The next time they talk, Max is over it, but still doesn't like that Isaac apparently say their "friendship" as merely a means to an end and says that Isaac isn't back in his good graces yet. Isaac remains mad that everyone's holding out on him, apparently for shit they're not mad about and is also ancient history (the stuff Isabel alluded to on her walk to school with Max). And mad that everyone wants him to apologize to them for various things despite none of them seeming to care about how they're treating him. And mad at himself because he's mad at stupid shit and can't get over it. The last two are more implied than stated.

And one of them's wearing an Akatsuki shirt.

>Isaac remains mad that everyone's holding out on him, apparently for shit they're not mad about
...I honestly don't understand this, user.

For a second you made me think Zack had music taste but then I realized it's another dumb jojo reference.

i thought the hatching meant they were supposed to be wood chips

He feels left out m8. He has for a while. For somewhat good reason. Thats why he buddied up to Max as soon as he shows up, but now Max is a part of the group thats leaving him out. All his feelings and shit are getting mixed up because hes like 12. Its not that complicated.

>Implying he's even read the manga

It's probably just a coincidence.

Really sorry I didn't clarify this, but I mean the "for shit they're not mad about" part.

Come to think of it now...was "for shit they're not mad about" referring to Isaac being mad because he was overreacting on not serious stuff?

He's partially angry that everyone else can just get over their anger, especially at him, that they still want apologies, and that they are still holding out on him for some reason. Isaac is a simple sort of guy at heart. He finds it unfair everyone else gets to not be angry, gets to demand apologies from him, and gets to not tell him anything. It doesn't really occur to him that these three things might not all be directly tied together. That people get over shit differently, they he might still have wronged them, and that they may have their own reasons for not telling him information that have nothing to do with how they personally feel about him.

The "shit they're not mad about" may just be Max, who explicitly told him he's not actually angry any more. Isabel mentioned they don't really hate Isaac for whatever happened, but Isaac is too wrapped up in the narratives he spins around people to realize it and so just sort of keeps to himself. Never quite getting it. But he is mad that he perceives himself as being unable to get over things as easily as other in general.

My guess is the C stands for Cumulus. Or Cirrus.

That's because Isaac's a TEENAGER

Cong.

i'm glad that Zack is finally representing balding middle school kids.

Yeah, this is what I like about this comic. His script-writing could use a fucking editor, but the basic underlying characters make sense. This shit is super relatable.

I actually rather like the bizarre, colloquial, and vulgar nature of a lot of the script. Forge's dialog with Spender was nice too, but it may have just worked for me. It seemed a bit too fancy sometimes.

Oh, no, that's fine - I more mean pages like this that could easilly be two-three panels with a bit of effort.

On the other hand its nice to see actual backgrounds so what am i bitchin for oh right months of empty space comics
