What did you think about it, Sup Forums? Was it, dare I say, shit

who was in the wrong here?

It was "ok"
Didn't hold a candle to the original though
But
If you saw the original when it came out chances are you were about their age then and so watching it and sharing the "omg, it's been 20 years" meme is kind of surreal

I've seen to many British mobster films to enjoy this.

Horrible. Couldn't even finish it. I just didn't understand why the need for a sequel?

> I just didn't understand why the need for a sequel?
Are you asking or telling us?

I liked it, not as good as the original but it was enjoyable enough to check in with all the characters. Way too much jerking off of the first movie for my liking

Asking? I assume it's just trying to milk off the first one just because this felt nothing like the first one and should have been named something else.

Because Porno exists and they can make more money?

This. Seeing them talk about fucking Snapchat and essentially reference Sup Forums tendencies was fucking strange. Tho it made them feel more real in a way.

>Asking?
Are you sure? Because you really don't sound sure.

NO MORE CATHOLICS

You seem to be more interested in me than this thread. I'm flattered

this. i love trainspotting, one of my favorite films as a teenager and maybe even now since ive seen it 20 times.

The social justice warrior speech about made me gag, but it was pretty watchable overall.

It was good in a way completely different from the first which I respect the hell out of because they could have just given you Transpotting Redux but the way they took the twenty years and incorporated that into the story while still holding onto the essence of what made the first one great while speaking to an older audience with an older message was really cool

>social justice warrior speech
There was literally nothing SJW about it.

he thinks poking fun at Jew conspiracy theories is "SJW shit"

i could go for some good sjw hate. post the video

>Choose rape jokes, slut-shaming, revenge porn and an endless tide of depressing misogyny.
>not SJW shit

I didnt understadn that part... was he making fun of pol people who believe that or was he saying it was actually a thing... it seemed like a double edged sword the way he said in relation to the rest of the speech.

The movie was good, not great, but I enjoyed seeing it again.

I find that watching movies, sometimes i enjoy them and then i come here and see their flaws and it ruins them for me in a good way.

Has there been any movie not worthy of criticism in recent years? I do not think so.

>if you don't hate women urine sjw
k

>making edgy jokes on the internet is the equivalent of hating women
>this is what SJWs actually believe

>rape jokes are bad
>slut shaming is bad
>revenge porn is bad
yes youre probably an sjw. i dont hate women

IMO the shit with Franco was too fucking dark. Him escaping and trying to murder everyone was the wrong move.

i just turned 33... it scared the fuck out of me

quit opiates and got a job.

Renton was just describing the internet. He mentioned clickbait articles, social media, and all that shit, too.
>revenge porn
>not bad
Rape jokes can be funny and I don't give a shit about slut shaming, but c'mon.

>ignores everything but the least harmful thing Renton listed
bravo

it was good and hit some strong feels for me, like just about getting older, and friends and such

Slut-shaming can also be reduced to just jokes, I'll let revenge porn pass, 2 out of 3 is still bad.
