Bump

Bump again

literally no one cares you fucking insecure faggot

Superman?

...

I just need a comic that I can relate to

Is this something guys are honestly insecure about? I mean, I'm 5'6" which is well below average and I can't really think of a time when it's been an issue aside from occasionally needing to stand on something to reach the top shelf.

Wolverine.

>NO ONE CARES!!!

wow, someone is insecure

Is there anyone as disappointed as me by the lack of good quality Mr. Miracle and Barda porn?

Is it actually canon that m4.miracle is 6ft ?

>tfw even the amazons want chads

>Are there any comics about a manlet struggling with manlet problems?
Wolverine comes to mind.

...

>tfw I have a thing for tall girls, but I'm 6'4" so there aren't really any girls taller than me that aren't circus freaks

The only people who care so much about height are tallies who have literally nothing else going for them. Seriously, build a skillset or find a hobby instead of being so satisfied with yourself and not accomplishing anything.

I'm assuming that this is because you rarely interact with other people.

Who the fuck nrings up hight out in polite society? This shit only comes up on the internet. As a manlet i would know.

It doesn't need to be brought up. It's like being stunningly beautiful or hideously ugly. It's not something you bring up in polite conversation, but it will shape how people treat you.

It would be nice, wouldn't it? I've yet to see evidence that society in general understands what this feels like. There's rage and depression and acquiescence and even gritty resolve. But in the end, I just want to put my height behind me. I don't want to child-sized anymore; I want my masculinity to be built into my physical size so that I can act the way I prefer; I want the efforts I make in the gym and the office to actually mean something that people will acknowledge.

No one wants to explore this. They just want to say I'm angry in a cute or annoying way.

Do you like big girls? It's Managua but...

Homestuck.

She's called BIG Barda. Everyone's a manlet to her.

Wolverine doesn't seem to mind being short. Hell, I would not mind if had metal claws and could potentially survive a nuclear apocalypse.

Insecure much?

Most people who claim to be 6'5"+ usually look like beanpoles in real life

probably 5'10

>it will shape how people treat you
Only if you act like an insecure faggot about it or hang out with incredibly shallow people.

You should watch George Shrinks.

It's nice that you have some confidence despite your disability, but you're clearly delusional. Everyone treats short and tall men differently. You do it, I do it, short men do it, tall men do it, average men do it and women do it. A taller man is more likely to be promoted, get a raise, be respected by his peers, attract a mate, etc. It's biology.

You sound assblasted and paranoid as fuck. Take a goddamn chill pill r9k.

>tfw god didn't bless you with 4 more inches to become average

You sound like you can't read a social situation.

He's right though only the completely shallow types of people who are part of the #YOLO and Instagram, club culture. Your socioeconomic status or bank account is more important

But keep think that 5'7,, is now a social pariah

>this degree of /r9k/ faggotry

Unless you're fucking 5'3 or under, being slightly shorter than average isn't a fucking handicap.

Chances are it isn't the short height, but the crippling autism that keeps you from getting friends, or laid for that matter.

At the very least you could try and get /fit/.

>Economists Nicola Persico, Andrew Postlewaite and Dan Silverman explained the "height premium" and found that "a 1.8-percent increase in wages accompanies every additional inch of height". They also found that men's wages as adults could be linked to their height at age 16. The researchers found that on an average an increase in height by one inch at age 16 increased male adult wages by 2.6 percent.
>Surveys have uncovered that less than 3% of CEOs were below 5 ft 7 in (1.70 m) in height. 90% of CEOs are of above average height.
People who are part of the #YOLO and Instagram, club culture must be very powerful.

>Unless you're fucking 5'3 or under, being slightly shorter than average isn't a fucking handicap.
Of course it is. From a social perspective, it's worse than being ugly.

Do people actually reject attractive women just because they're taller than them?

Are people that insecure?

And you sound like someone that has been abused or humiliated by his height. I'm sorry.

Yep. They do.

Big Man Plans. It's about a manlet vietnam vet with serious anger management problems who comes back home and fails to adjust back home..

It's from the maker of The Goon.

>I just need a comic that I can relate to

Wait, don't fucking read this one. We don't need you on the front page of r/news for going all midget punisher and stapling a man's testicles to another man's head.

No, but men are generally more attracted to women who are shorter than them, as it's a secondary female sexual characteristic in humans. The ideal female height seems to be just below the average female height.

No, not really.

Again, manlet isn't a height, it's a state of mind. If you act like a bearded child, people are going to treat you like a bearded child.

For all the shit TRP gets (and deserves), even Twerpers understand that you could be a 6'1 /fit/ sports jock and still loose all the girls to Chad because even though they look like an Alpha fuckboi they act like a Beta virgin.

You sound like someone who's been through a lot of shit, and I feel for you user, but the longer you keep resigning yourself to a fate assigned by statistics the more and more you'll never be anything more than a statistic.

>midget punisher and stapling a man's testicles to another man's head.

Holy Shit. That sounds great!

I'd suck her penis.

Nope, sorry. I'm average height, so I've been spared that humiliation.

I don't believe you.

>manlet isn't a height, it's a state of mind
Whatever you need to tell yourself to make it through the day, boy.

We've already established that you're in denial, so I can't say that comes as a shock.

"We"?

>manlet isn't a height, it's a state of mind

It's been documented and studied several times, being taller is seen as more attractive and being shorter the opposite
Taller people make more money in the workplace
Short people don't have a complex, everyone assumes they do because they are short

> even Twerpers understand that you could be a 6'1 /fit/ sports jock and still loose all the girls to Chad
That's not the point
the point is that people who are 6'1 are considered a lot more attractive than people who are 5'6
It's okay for people to have preferences, but don't tell people it's "a state of mind" when you're not preferred

>That's not the point
Yeah. It kinda is.

>Yeah. It kinda is.
But that's just another example of people not understanding the point because they assume that the opposite side of the argument just has some sort of complex
You just don't understand on a fundamental level

Check out Stegen Ugiberts behind her on the left.

I don't get this "manlet" thing,

The word sounds as if being a little shorter than average somehow makes a guy inferior. So what? They're still men. They're still human beings with hopes and dreams like any other person.

It just comes off as mean spiritedness over a genetic factor that no one has any control over being born with.

Why the continual obsession with it here? Do you really need to feel some false notion of superiority THAT badly?

No. I get it. Short men and tall women are not that attractive and that's ok, its biological, cultural and shit. But in the end, you are losing to someone else in some department or another. The biological competition continues.

And that's ok. It just the way how most humans behave.

Because some people get off on humiliation. Other actually believe they are superior because of their physical characteristics. And others have become jaded and cynical because of past humiliations (like r9k over there).

>No. I get it
so fuck off with that "it's a state of mind" bullshit

And what makes it your place to pass such judgement fellow humans

I haven't said that, my argument had nothing to do with the other user. Even if it is a state of mind for the short man or the tall woman (not so much for the average, since it has cultural connections) that can be beaten through sheer willpower and acceptance.

Because Nihilism is a hell of a drug.

>mean spiritedness
It's Sup Forums, a lot of people here are assholes who lack empathy.

>my argument had nothing to do with the other user
besides the fact that I was replying to his argument and the notion of there even being a point came from him not getting the point through his "state of mind" bullshit

so user
fuck off with the "state of mind" bullshit

That's not nihilism that's being an asshole.

But, user. I'm partially agreeing with you. What the fuck are you debating, you stupid fuck?

It's kinda the same thing. Specially when you are this retarded.

Dude, memes aren't real.

Average American male height is 5'7. Within a standard deviation, no one fucking cares. And even if you are super short--people with cystic fibrosis and Down's syndrome manage to get married; don't bitch about being short.

I'm not debating anything
I'm telling you to fuck off and stop posting

>Average American male height is 5'7.
5'10, or 5'9 depending on which studies
just google "average american male height"

>I was just pretending to be retarded

>I'm butthurt, speechless, and an idiot
>I'll call him a retard for saying the same thing 3 times in a row

Rocket Raccoon.

He's a guy who, despite his competence, is doubted and ridiculed for his stature and appearance, and has developed anger issues because of that.

The complex develops itself. You get kicked down, you tie it to who you are, and you get kicked down more because of it. You decide that you'll never be anything more than a statistic, and you decide that you can never be happy because of it.

Not all short people have such a problem with being short. There are tons of average and manlet actors in the starlight.

Yeah, society likes tall guys. The deck's stacked against you. That's why you fucking fight life every step of the way, and stop resigning yourself to a fate you can't change because of circumstances you can't control.

Or for fuck's sake try TRP, or hell try the nuMale cuck lifestyle, or the /fit/ faggot regimine, or literally anything but the /r9k/ pity party.

Or you could always go to r/short, they're always looking for new users.

Just because people don't talk about it doesn't mean they're not judging people on it.

But it actually absolutely gets brought up in polite society. If you're short and at a bar or club, you'll hear about it. And if you're ever involved in sportsball, one of the most common ways that young men define their masculinity and therefore their identity, you'll also hear about it. And in that last one in particular, it's never about figuring out how else you can contribute, it's about how you don't measure up.

Height is an advantage that's super easy to press, tacitly, without repercussions.

>Your socioeconomic status or bank account is more important
Every inch in height is another $600 on your salary, on average.

>There's rage
I think society understands this at least, isn't it a stereotype that short guys are assholes?

>Yeah, society likes tall guys. The deck's stacked against you. That's why you fucking fight life every step of the way, and stop resigning yourself to a fate you can't change because of circumstances you can't control.
>Or for fuck's sake try TRP, or hell try the nuMale cuck lifestyle, or the /fit/ faggot regimine, or literally anything but the /r9k/ pity party.
You know, I would just like the opportunity to live a happy life without having to be an asshole.

They think it's incoherent and unjustified rage. They look at the rage of a short guy like they look at the rage of poor or persecuted people. The conclusion is, "You just want to be angry and we don't deserve having to put up with it," when the situation is really that the rage has a very real reason for existing and it's partly the fault of the people who want to deny that it's legitimate.

>Alas, poor Manlet; I knew him: a fellow of finite height and fancy.

>Average American male height is 5'7
Maybe, but if we restrict ourselves to the US, it's 5'9. If we further restrict ourselves to non-hispanic whites in the US it's 5'10. A man who is 5'7 is short.

>Within a standard deviation, no one fucking cares.
Yes they do. Even the ones who try to tell themselves they don't.

>don't bitch about being short
I'm not. I'm just bullying short people over the internet.

Most women are shallow, cunts, sluts, and money leechers.

I promise you will marry a whore and she will divorce you because you wasn't being bad boy enough.
