You ever start off liking something a lot...

You ever start off liking something a lot, then as you get exposed to more and more of it you start to wonder what it even was that you liked in the first place? I think that's what happened to the Loud House for me.

It's a decent show (certainly a breath of fresh air compared to what Nickelodeon has been airing the past few years) but as I started watching further and further into the show, the more bored I got. I think it just hits that mid-2000s middle-of-the-road level of generic which at first I was weirdly nostalgic for, but now have gotten tired of.

It's a harem anime, user. Of course it's generic

The only appeal are the waifus

Harem anime actually have fan service, this is just a generic kids show that autists on the internet interpret into their own delusional head canons.

Loud House is one of those odd scenarios where something is enjoyable not because of what it is, but rather what it's not.

It doesn't have any of the cliches that Sup Forums has come to hate. It's just a kids show without any "deep lore" or "social commentary" or creators who constantly jack themselves off over their own insightfulness. It's just a cartoon.

>You ever start off liking something a lot, then as you get exposed to more and more of it you start to wonder what it even was that you liked in the first place?
Yep. Star Wars Rebels is doing it for me, at first it was actually pretty interesting, and then in season two it became really generic and the episodes were becoming generic and easy to figure out what the plot was from just its episode preview.

I've just been getting less and less involved with watching the show and this new season coming out isn't making me that interested in it either.

I'm starting to lose interest in Star Wars as a whole, most of the good comics are over and the ones that remain are boring and have mediocre art.

Not really. If I start to lose interest in something I just remember why I had interest in the first place. Like, I fucking hate League of Legends now but I know why I used to like it.

The show itself is pretty boring.

The only thing keeping my interest is waifu-fagging all of the sisters and the rest of the fucked up fanbase making porn and cute fanart.

No. Even if I can't always put it into words I know what I like about the things I watch and if I stop watching it's because the show isn't giving me that thing anymore.

Yikes

>Anyone who has criticisms for a show is trying to start company wars shit
wew lad

To be far, the wasted potential is what kills it. The funny jokes that could be made and the unfunny jokes that could not be made.

Most of the new episodes seems to have the same jokes and plots that i watched in tons of different cartoons. It's all by the numbers and safe

Didn't think I'd get bored of the show so quickly, but I'm actually starting to feel it myself.

Then again, it might be the effect of no new episodes in three weeks setting in.

The irony is I bet he's one of those people

It's decent but not something that you'd marathon. It has enough going for it to keep the show fun and interesting, but not for long periods of time. This is why you watch other shows to supplement.

I got that too OP. It doesn't help that /tlhg/ is shittier now

That comfiness and subtle adult jokes is why i like it. Also, because i was an only child, and it makes me happy to see the joys of having siblings would be like.

>too much Clyde
We're not watching it for a nerdy lame black friend
>too much Lincoln
he's a good likeable alpha MC but we're not watching it just for him
>sisters act like blobs
work them against each other and for each other
>it's a lincoln does something weird with a sister episode
not all sisters can carry an episode. Lana can't. Luna can't. Luan can't. You need more than two sisters to carry an episode

The show works best when Lincoln isn't the default MC and works as a brother character. The sisters need play off each other and not just orbit around Lincoln. It has a large cast with varying and conflicting characters. Use it.

>not watching it just for Lincoln

If I wanted to watch a shota show, I'd watch a shota show. Preferably a shota harem show.

Adventure Time. After season three I just stopped being interested in it. The emphasis on lolrandum storylines got too extreme as the show went on.

If anything it was the constant relationship and emotional bullshit that made me drop it.

I dropped AT after it touched on the Lich plot and never went back to it after. I wanted that man, never realized until then how much. I never liked shallow romance bullshit and shallow love interests. There are only a few female character's in western nerd media I've really liked since I can't into waifufagging. And you're gonna hit me with fucking lesbians?

It's only gonna get worse with more uglier female characters and forced non-typical romances.
SU got the ball rolling.

I don't give a shit about waifus. I don't care about ugly. I don't care about who they fuck. I just need female characters I can actually root for.

>too much Clyde

He barely gets any screentime though, most episodes he gets a cameo at best. He desperately needs better material though, his crush got old fast.

>too much Lincoln

I see your point here, but chances are they're not going to stray past Lincoln until season 2.

i mean most fandoms survive months of hiatus, 3 weeks isn't very long
