Well yeah they've had the most exposure. You give characters like Cass or Steph that and they'd be way more popular. Hell one animated movie and one game appearance have been enough to make Jason Todd super popular with casuals. I think a Bat family show could be really cool and a good way to expand casuals knowledge of Bruce's friends.

I think it's a great idea. Most of the villains have been been over exposed, especially the Joker, and I would like to think that people would be interested in a change.

Jason was kind of a special case. I don't think the others will be as popular as him with the casuals to be honset. See Damian for example, the casuals seriously hate him.

Just focus on Dick and Damian with Bruce M.I.A. The "family" is in shattered after Bruce is apparently dead from a battle with the Joker which left Barbara crippled. Then suddenly Tim finds out something from a mute League of Assassin member named Cassandra who defects to the Bat side that Ra's might have him. He doesn't. Instead it's Hugo Strange who's the surprise big bad and the finale is him unleashing Man Bats and Monster Men all over Gotham.
I don't know if a Batman show without Batman would even get greenlit. It's a neat idea though.

Lead with the idea that Batman is dead. Frame it that he died fighting great evil and that the original Robin is trying to carry on his legacy as best he possibly can. They can flashback to Batman's death and they can flashback to Dick's time as Robin and Nightwing. Own it.

Tim has been bad for the past 15 years and irrelevant for the last 10. He still has a fanbase but he doesn't really seem necessary.

She was the black sheep. She worked with the Batfamily at times, but her philosophy was too different from Batman's. She had decent relationships with the rest of the family, too. She got along with Tim fairly well. She liked to argue but also fuck Nightwing. Babs didn't like her at first, due to her dressing up as Batgirl (and also fucking Nightwing), but they eventually ironed out their differences.

Why isn't there a CW "Bat Family" show? They can have 10 episodes of teen drama about Dick/Barbara then other 10 about Tim/Steph then go back to Dick/Huntress and then have some criminal cameos just to remind people is a show about superheroes.
I guess it could happen now. Supergirl is getting Superman for a couple of episodes so Batman could maybe get his own show. Gotham may need to cancelled for this to happen though.

Why would casuals not care for Nightwing? Dick been around longer than most and most people know him (at least by robin anyway) so I would expect him to be pretty over with fans.
Casuals know ROBIN. They don't know who the heck is Dick Grayson or Nightwing.

Maybe throw in some tangential Batman characters like Black Canary too.

Actually, an Aquaman cartoon or show could very well be great. It could be something relatively fresh and original too, since he's almost never had his own dedicated tv show. And it's not like he doesn't have a pretty good supporting cast or rogues gallery either. Dude's got Mera, Garth, Tula, Kaldur'ahm, Vulko, Dr. Stephen Shin, and so on as supporting characters. Plus Black Manta and Orm at least as villains. And on top of that, it's not like they couldn't just make new ones as well.
An Aquaman cartoon could do a lot of good for him.
I really think he, the Flash, and WW should all be given a chance at having their own cartoons. GL should really be given another chance as well.
