PERSUASION user

Persuasion user here. In case anyone hasn't caught on yet, Trump pivoted yesterday/today. Just in time as well. I predicted he would need to make the pivot within the next two weeks in order for it to be most effective and today is exactly two weeks since that initial post.

Feel free to ask questions.

what will be his next move
how has he been acting presidential

how can trump stop evan mcmullin from cannibalizing his whole candidacy?

Seconding this. What's his next move likely to be?

Next move will be to release ads in the battleground states, particularly Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

McMullin seems like a good guy and he'll have a future in Republican politics if he wants it but he'll essentially be irrelevant this election. He's got virtually no name recognition and has neither the monetary backing nor the type of dynamic personality that would be necessary in order to generate enough media attention and interest in his campaign.

It's past your bedtime, Scott

He made an apology.

His last pivot was Manafort-inspired, which did NOT fit his persona at all. He intended to act more presidential, but fucked up with the Muslim Brotherhood Father of fallen soldier. He won't fuck up like that again until after he's sworn in.

This recent pivot is "Bannon-Conway inspired" and he will actually be returning to the "Lewandowski Trump", but it will be a 2.0 version. The kinks are worked out, and hellfire/brimstone will spew forth from "He who is unstumpable" in a digestible format for the masses.

It's gonna be fucking magnificent.

Also, Trump is going to really seek to link his movement with other successful right wing populist movements that are arising throughout Europe. You'll hear him referencing LePen, Geert, Farage and maybe even Hofer. However he'll offer himself as a much more moderate version of these 4.

WILL HE WIN IN NOVEMBER. TELL ME PERSUASION user. I'M LOSING HOPE

Don't forget about based Frauke Petry.

How are you losing hope? It's an objective fact that the polls against him the last few week were rigged, and they still couldn't give Clinton a commanding lead.

Now even the LA times is showing that last speech bumped him up 600% with blacks. Six HUNDRED percent. That's the highest support any Republican has had from blacks since the 1970s.

He's literally facing a media machine that is openly trying to crush him and he's soaring like an eagle. If you've lost even an iota of hope it's because you're buying into shill propaganda.

You understand that these are your enemies telling you this stuff, right? Why would they tell you the truth? Why would you believe them? Don't believe them, hold faith, seek the truth yourself.

What do you think will be his strategy in the debates? Will he approach each one the same way, or differently?

>he will actually be returning to the "Lewandowski Trump"
That's what his campaign would like you to think. The reason Trump insisted so heavily that he was never going to pivot, and made campaign moves that indicated he was returning to the "Lewandowski" Trump is because he's now appealing to those who haven't been paying much attention to the election. These are people who are just beginning to tune in and who will really start paying attention after Labor Day. Basically everything they think they know about Trump has been fed to them by second, third, even fourth hand sources. So while they may think they know the man and what his personality is like, their minds are very open to being convinced otherwise, even if they don't consciously realize this. So now they're beginning to tune in, they hear Trump say he's never pivoting, and they hear the media say that his campaign shuffle indicates he's returning to "Lewandowski" form. Then what does Trump do? He pivots to Presidential Trump, and those who are just tuning in, having been convinced by the media and that Trump campaign itself that "Trump will never change", will think that post-pivot Presidential Trump is actually how he has always acted. This, in turn, will further reinforce Trump's campaign against the media, as these newly acquired voters will think that all the negative shit that they've heard about Trump over the past year was complete misinformation and lies, as Trump has claimed.

literally who?

Absolutely.

Yes her as well. Was going to say Afd but I couldn't remember the leader's name.

He'll approach the debates with the goal of contrasting Hillary in certain areas that will give him a persuasive edge. If Hillary talks in her typical terrible shrieking voice, Trump will speak like he did during his speech to the miners in rural VA -- calm, cool, and collected. Hillary wants the debate to be seated because she's 5'5'' (and apparently can't stand without assistance) and Trump will insist they stand because he's 6'2". Hillary will likely act like a Hawk in a failed attempt to attract more Republicans, Trump will make clear his opposition to interventionist foreign policies. He'll also focus HEAVILY on her corruption and will likely bring every question asked back to her server/foundation/lies etc.

Woops. "Absolutely" was meant for

Where and how did you learn to be persuasive?

OP read Scott Adam's blogs and has a talent for roleplaying.

Nah

Without going into too much personal detail, I've always had an inherent ability to convince people to do things I wanted them to do, ever since I was a kid. Learned about the techniques, studied the subject in college, and post college I've been able to use the techniques to get in positions I want to be in ahead of other, probably more qualified people.

how do you like drawing Dilbert?

Stahp

It's okay, Scott.

Make more blog posts.

>Next move will be to release ads in the battleground states, particularly Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

>next move will be to do the thing he already announced he was going to do

Wow you're like a fucking psychic.

Can you stay using a trip so I can filter you?

What I don't understand is why you believe Donald Trump is acting with forethought. He's simply winging it with A-B testing, and the 'pivot' you talk about is him getting fearful of putting his own foot in his mouth. Which is where he should've been in the first place.

9D CHESS

Because everything Trump has ever done was with forethought. The image he has created, that he is "winging it", is a completely calculated maneuver.

How good at persuasion is Hillary, and will she realize any of these tactics and try to counter them?

Trump is the dreamer. He sees and creates at the same time unconsciously.

You wouldn't understand unless you're a genius.

He's picked way too many losing fights in his campaign to date. Granted. He was smart enough to choose the winning narratives (Immigration and Trade.) But a skilled player wouldn't have the unfavorables he has, even accepting your 'Foot-in-the-door" hypothesis.

I still think he's high talent, but it gets tiring hearing these rationalizations of his setbacks. Even God-Emperors make mistakes.

What a load of shit.

A lot of record correcting going on here

>Scott Adams here
Hello Dilbert.
Don't forget to dehumanize yourself to face the bloodshed.

Calling out the mudslime was essential. Anerica needed to see exactly how cozy the Democrats are with the Muslim Brotherhood terrorists.

Trump hasn't made a mistake. You are simply not wise enough to see clearly.

Are you Scott Adams?

Tell him to not forget the most important: Orban.

Trump reminds me of Berlusconi. Billionarie, politically incorrect, conservative, womanizer. It's actually a good thing, because Silvio was a good guy. He tried a (classic)liberal revolution, but failed because Italy is a statist country. He was also attacked by world's media because of Putin's friendship with him.

Good luck Trump. Sorry for the english i'm drunk (5:50 AM bere)

Regardless of how deep that rabbit hole goes, he very quickly moved away from that position to 'extreme vetting.' Granted, that's the whole point of A-B testing -> Foot in the Door. But to assume there is some grand strategic oversight to his twitter escapades is frankly maddening.

Trump is good at what he does. I give him his due. Yet he has weaknesses, just like all other people do.

Nobody is this far ahead.

Will Hillary trip and fall during the debate, ripping her skinsuit and exposing her true form?

I think we scared off Scott.

>implying a man can change in two weeks

everyone knows this isn't true

that's like a thief robbing you, then returning the next day trying to convince you he's found jesus. real change takes time and is GRADUAL

a "quick pivot" from unpresidential to "mr.president oh my so well spoken and thoughtful you are" is completely unbelievable.

>implying people will forget his "unpresidential times" A MONTH BEFORE

Good question. Hillary is very good at persuasion. Her entire persona is just as calculated as Trump's is. The fact that she's been able to hold completely conflicting political beliefs throughout her entire career is proof of this. I mean, 2016 Hillary Clinton would probably call 1996 Hillary Clinton a backwards, bigoted racist if they were on the stage together debating. However the difference between her and Trump is that most people realize that Clinton is calculated whereas Trump has convinced most people that he's winging it. They're just waiting to see if he can bring it all down to Earth in a nice little package, which he's starting to do.

As for her being aware of his tactics, I'm not sure. That would depend on the dynamics of their personal relationship. Everyone who works with Trump behind the scenes say he acts completely differently, much more rational and less impulsive. If that's the man he portrayed around Hillary then it's likely she's aware to some extent that a pivot was coming, although those around her think that Trump is genuinely the person he has portrayed for the past year.

>You are simply not wise enough to see clearly.
>You wouldn't understand unless you're a genius.

why does this reek of cringe-level hero worship?

I can't even tell if you're trolling or just that big of a faggot

Trump is a dreamer. The future opens up to him while he works.

We like to think Trump is like us. And he is, but the truth is he is much much smarter than we are, and that's hard to conceptualize when you're young.

Hey Scott, big fan of your blog. Did you know the DOD is blocking access to your blog on government computers? The comic part of your site is available but the blog is blocked for no good reason. It's annoying when I have some downtime but can't get on.

>Hillary is very good at persuasion.
Your metric for "very good at persuation" varies greatly from mine, to be honest with you Scott.

>As for her being aware of his tactics, I'm not sure.
Ben Carson called out saul alinsky at the RNC whom hillary wrote her thesis on im still convinced trump is using rules for radicals as part of his play book

Bro she is a flawless actor. The bullshit is palpable. Almost as good as Obama and her Husband.

We don't buy it because we resisted programming, but her diction is fucking satanic.

She can't beat trump face to face, however. Nature of good and evil. Trump has light on his side.

>but the truth is he is much much smarter than we are

fucking Trump's little lap dog

Trump almost certainly has Hillary's Wall Street speech transcripts, that she won't release, right?

Also, does Trump already know what big leak Assange is going to drop?

And how will this info be used in the persuasion mosaic?

Her facade is failing even berniebots who are bluepilled as fuck are able to see through her

>Bro she is a flawless actor.
Except she invokes Uncanny Valley like a motherfucker though.

thanks for correcting the record

>satanic

possibly the most meaningless word ever created

The transcripts don't exist. That's the real smoking gun, IMO. They were just straight-up illegal donations in exchange for "speeches."

Bump cause fuck shills

We're winning... don't underestimate our effect on this climate. We have helped our compatriots, and they're beginning to wake up.

Satan here, satanism is shit, kill all luciferians, god bless.

they're nigger loving socialists they will be the last group of people to be redpilled

>Nobody is this far ahead.

I don't seriously understand what this means.

They've all got their good areas, I think. Hillary sucks balls if she doesn't have a prepared idea to work with though. I mean, just look at every time she tries to do an off-the-cuff joke.

>like, with a cloth?
>is the pandering working?
>pokemon GO to the polls!

Obama had her beat by miles on this, because he's good at pretending to be a genuinely good person who cares about you while lying to your face. And he knew how to tell a good joke. Kind of the way Bush was. Everybody said they wanted to sit down and have a beer with him, he just had that air. Hillary lacks that, imo.

Of course she's aware of it. There's nothing she can do about it though. Couple that with her taking 3 days off every week to rest, Trump is an unstoppable force.

>We're winning

This may be persuasion tactic #34, blind confidence to rally the troops

>Everyone who works with Trump behind the scenes say he acts completely differently, much more rational and less impulsive.

OH SHIT can confirm
My co-worker and I were talking about Trump and she said she knew a friend who used to work closely with Trump and she said that he was the nicest man. Always listened to his employees. She even said that she was thinking about asking him for a day off once to see her dad or something and he said of course, family always comes first some shit like that. Then my co-worker then said that as soon as Trump began to run for president, she said her friend didn't understand his brash manner and said she'd never seen him like that. Jesus.

Trump is the American Berlusconi, but nobody in America thinks of him as such. The comparison totally goes over people's head.

Yeah I don't disagree. Bush was a genius in his own right. Hillary is not.

my god its almost as if he's posturing for effect

wtf I love Berlusconi now

I just saw your video.

I didn't know you rock climbed! Real neat!

Check out horseshoe canyon ranch in Arkansas sometime.

Hundreds of routes all within walking distance. Great place.

>Hillary wants the debate to be seated because she's 5'5'' (and apparently can't stand without assistance) and Trump will insist they stand because he's 6'2".
If they reach a compromise and she gets a podium to make her look taller, do you think it will be a good tactic for him to goad her off the podium in a good will 'let's shake hands' gesture mid-debate, and when he sees her reluctance to take the step down, he goes over and offers her assistance?

The sign of a truly great actor is for no one to believe you are acting.

Remember when all those italian feminists protested him by throwing their panties at his house ?

Basically what said.

I'm sure he's familiar with the book.

I doubt he has the speech transcripts. I also doubt he knows what Assange plans to leak. That would require some form of direct communication between his camp and the Assange organization which I assume would raise many red flags in the intel community.

You should probably inform Scott because I am not him.

>do you think it will be a good tactic for him to goad her off the podium in a good will 'let's shake hands' gesture mid-debate, and when he sees her reluctance to take the step down, he goes over and offers her assistance?

this is what Sup Forumstards fantasize about

How do we get them to see that the poor-rich relationship acts like convection forces which drive a workforce? And that removal of the poor class with equality is like matter freezing and dying.

These are simple concepts when you understand them. But it's obvious these commies aren't thinking of the consequences of their system.

t.greatest lie ever told teller.

What do you think of this?

There likely are no transcripts. They were non-events where they bribed Hillary and needed to make the revenue look legit for taxes. That's why she didn't just release doctored copies, like Obama did with his shitty photoshop'd birth certificate

Trump is going to win right?

Haha yes, I hadn't thought of that. Small persuasive victories like that are still effective.

I think it stems from the misunderstanding of life. They think being poor is shameful or undesirable. I and many others want to live humble, poor lifestyles.

But I can't find a way to communicate these values without Christ...

You know, this makes me think of Art of the Deal, in the sense that Art of the Deal was ghostwritten to create the brand of Trump. So. In this case. Instead of being pulled by slights and insult, Trump could be trying to follow through the tenets of his own ideas. But it's so odd to then overrationalize away Trump's mistakes, when in fact it could be part of mismanaging the brand. Yet why the dumb fights?

Never use the word "Not" when trying to remove a label on yourself. Humans struggle to understand negation and it sinks alot of people when they describe themselves as 'not x;

>EX: "I am NOT a crook."

So even if you are not Scott Adams, by specifically stating the name Scott Adams, people think you are Scott Adams.

Now go and persuade people you aren't Scott Adams, because that'll be a real test of persuasion.

...

>Yet why the dumb fights?
His 'dumb fights' illuminated the public to corruption as a consequence of the Dem's attacks. Casualties of verbal warfare. That's what Trump was going for.

The dumb fights DID illuminate people to some dark shit. But was that really what he was going for?

>Trump sees Kahn on television.
>"That dirty, shady motherfucker. I'm going to start a verbal beef with him, to get attention on him."
>Trump takes a hit in the polls, Khan gets outed.

If someone on the inside verified that was going on, then I've been clearly wrong about Trump and sorely underestimating him. But these are the kind of things that's impossible for us worms to know.

Do you think at the debates, Trump should sneak in little statements like this?

>There've been a lot of scare tactics used against me, many aimed at the "millenials." Boy, do they want millenials to hate me. Whew. By the way, “millienials”, are you comfortable with the press lumping you into this giant group? Like you're all the same? My advice, don't be a “millenial,” by yourself.

You don't have to redpill them, just have their mouths so dry they refuse to take any pills.

There is NOTHING millenials want more than to be unique and escape being lumped in with other millenials. Instant win in the polls if he uses that line.

Tweet him.

Trump obviously has an insider. The 9d chess memes are real.

Every bold statement he makes comes true. Like the 400,000,000 on the plane. He can't just be saying BS. He's got folders full of dirt on his enemies.

yeah Trump needs to say this. People are just waiting for a legitimate reason not to support Hillary. No one really wants to support her, 90% of her base is reluctant voters.

Please recommend me some books.

I don't tweet but I have lots of these I'm working on that I'll be spreading around Sup Forums before the debates and I'm hoping the best ones will get to the campaign somehow

I'm losing faith. How do I know he's pivoted?

>we now have Sup Forumsitical pundits

Xenophon's the Symposium for some high class sensible chuckles

How about you just tweet Trump himself? His campaign monitors it and they'll definitely pick it up if it's good.

Seriously it takes no effort, just make an account "IWishTrumpWouldSayThis" and then tweet him your lines.

What has the world come to.

Polls are already swinging back up to Trump. I've gained alot of faith since then.

Chipping away at the ideology of identity politics would be a very smart move as well. You're not bad, user.

Adios America by Ann Coulter
The Tragedy of Great Power Politics by John Mearsheimer

He is truly the second coming

My NSA writing-IDer doohickey is going off the scales for a SCOTT ADAMS match, OP.
It also says that you are a massive faggot who farms AIDS in the gaping hole that is now your anus.

Now explain how Trump is planning on winning over or negating the Millenial voters who hate him with every ounce of their souls.
