No, it's always Twilight bullshit where some moronic girl with no interesting characteristics somehow manages to get a bunch of moody, brooding hunks to get wrapped around her finger.

I wish there was a movie about millenia-old murderer-demigods who have been fucking with society for hundreds of years, pretending to have emotions while leading along and eventually eviscerating dumb hoes.

Forever Knight

Puns are the lowest form of humor. Your post was bad, and you should feel bad about what you posted.

...

Some one should turn What We Do in The Shadows into a TV show

What an obscure show post.

>tfw will never get a proper (I know about the cancelled fox show) Vampire:the Masquerade series

Just

Castlevania

True Blood ;^)

pls b Beetleborgs

>no interesting characteristics
Hmmmmmmmm no
If you were in teen Kstew's bedroom and she was madly in love with you and wanted your vampire cock. you wouldn't say she was uninteresting

Penny Dreadful is pretty good but it features a myriad of evil things. Vampires do play a heavy part though.

Was that a pun?

I'd be a walking corpse that subsists on human flesh and has murdered people so much that I've become completely desensitized to the idea of murder. And consider the maturity difference between a 15 year old and a 25 year old. Now consider the maturity difference between a 15 year old and a 200 year old. Her personality wouldn't be appealing. I'd be dead to all physical pleasure because that's my curse. The only thing that would make me feel alive is playing weird games like sending one of my minions to murder her entire family and then pretending to be the one who saved her, and keep her around as a pet until she hits 30 and is too old, then drain her blood and turn her skin into a coat to show off to all my vampire buddies.

This show was just League of Extraordinary Gentleman with gay sex.

Angel

Watching The Strain right now. It's not the worst show I've seen, but it's pretty fucking bad.

Is that the kid that got crushed to death between his own car and mailbox?

Has anyone watched pic related? I heard it tried too hard to simplify the Vampire the Masquerade lore and took a shit for it.

Is this beetleborgs? I only got to see the one VHS of it they had at my local Blockbuster and it didnt have these guys in it. Shit was rad though. Power Rangers + funny spooky stock monsters living in a house together was good shit.

and it was okay

yeah but see the problem here is you're legitimately gay

It's pretty bad, I went through a year where I consumed everything VtM and this was near the bottom. It's a bad soap through-and-through with a couple moments where the characters tell you they're vampires. They never did anything with it.

That's a shame. I avoided looking too closely at the plot because if it was halfway decent I didn't want to be spoiled, but I guess it for naught. It must be especially bad if it's considered soap through in through when that's half the point of le world of darkness.

The first few seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the first two seasons of Angel

I'd say all of Buffy and Angel is worth going through at least once, but if you want to be hypercritical then this guys is fairly spot on.

>is there a show about vampires that doesn't suck?
On a long enough timeline the survival rate of everyone drops to 0.

Season 1 of The Strain was pretty fucking good. Its gone to shit after that though.

There isn't much of a plot. The plot they started with was dropped, probably because C. Thomas Howell is a bad actor. Then the show becomes the Prince's personal story but it's all pointless melodrama. It's even more of a drag if you come in from the tabletop and they want you to care about the Prince who's lived a long, tragic life of... a century.

warcraft 3 was a great game

...

>hot furry immortal gay sex
Tumblrina's were ovulating to that scene

>century

lol wow

that's still neonate years to everyone but maybe the Tremere

Dracula Dead And Loving It
Bram Stokers Dracula
Interview with a vampire
Van Helsing
>Show
oh
Buffy, Angel

Just the first three seasons and perhaps the fourth.

Yeah, and he's an Italian Ventrue.

Why do men in their 20s need babysitters?

Vampire Prosecutor

that show was like an anime

only way I can get an erection

I guess she's technically a prostitute though

There's a 90s show based on Vampire: The Masquerade called Kindred: The Embraced.
Did someone watch it and how bad is it?

...

This thread is very short user, it wouldn't have taken you that long to read it.

What we do in the shadows is legendary but a film

Read the thread man it's less than 50 posts come on

Movies, there are a few.
But you asked for shows so I think It's just Buffy and Angel... Last season best season on Angel though.
I also liked The Strain so far... ups and downs but it's nice, fuck the haters.

>With Brujah primogen Eddie Fiori gone, fights are breaking out all over San Francisco to determine which Brujah will succeed him. This is to be expected. What isn't expected is the return of the Nosferatu Goth (Skipp Sudduth). Julian ran Goth out of town years ago, but he has returned, stronger than ever. And, when he performs the ritual and drinks the blood of the human infant he has just kidnapped, he will be unbeatable.

drinking infants > diablerie

>tfw you have better ideas for a VtM show but you're just a random poorfag that will never sell his awesome VtM script to a studio, and even if you would, the companies would probably have you legally raped for copyright infringement...

>Underworld TV Series is Still Moving Forward
>Underworld: Next Generation is currently filming with a release date scheduled for later this year, but it’s unclear who – if anyone – aside from Wiseman will be involved in the TV series

Who's going to play here /r/tv?

Big Wolf on Campus was kino

the none of the regular directors are even close to as good as Del Toro

Concept versus execution, take my word they found a way to make that dull. I'm presuming you're too young to remember Aaron Spelling soap operas.

Directed T H R E E episodes

Is pic related you?

How did the pilot for this manage to be SO DAMN GOOD and the rest only be pretty damn good and then eventually to walking dead-tier

My nigga

This is probably my favorite Disney channel show (i don't think Disney made it but they still showed it so it counts)

Pretty good or okay? Make up your mind.

...

...

Reminder that known manlet del Toro was so booty-bothered Quinlan was only 5'10" that he had him say his name was Vaun, killed him off, and replaced him with a tall edgelord character.

my problem with the strain is its more horror and less of an actual vampire show.

It feels more like a parasite horror story than anything about what is classically called a vampire and while yeah you can play with the mythos, you need certain things, somewhere in the story to make it stick its landing and the Strain/books just don't have it.

The second blade was a better idea on del taco's part.

If you really want to do horror vampires, you do nosferatu.

based del taco

oh didn't expect it was already mentioned and discussed because it seems pretty obscure

*blocks film's path*

>vampires that doesn't suck?
They would be dead. Vampires must suck...blood. Kill me or suck me dry for this pun :F

this

>Catch VD
Heh, nice one

Underworld was never good, and it still went downhill after the first movie

Moonlight had potential in a Dresden Files kinda way.

Didn't see any of the original, but the US version of Being Human was nice until the last season.

...

Dark Shadows?

...

The guy in the bottom, right corner looks like someone I could trust.

>okay

They reduced the number of clans down to like five, no Sabbat.

It was alright. There are FIVE people in that show who were either on Buffy or Angel.

The show got canceled because the guy who was the Prince of the City died in a motorcycle accident.

I don't know user
Surprise Motherfucker

Those first 2-3 seasons of True Blood were pretty good. It's when they brought in every new kind of supernatural creature that it went downhill. Werewolves, witches, and fairies. FUCKING FAIRIES!!! RAHHHHHHHHH!

It's inexplicable because Howell was great in The Hitcher and Soul Man, etc., but sucked so bad in this.

And yeah, the Prince was just ... I dunno, he didn't have a lot of character. All of the other vampires were more interesting than he was. Also, the city was too small to have THAT many vamps. They had like New York numbers of vamps.

Puns are, in fact, the highest forms of humor.

Frankenstein's monster was the only good character in that.

My best friend loves Forever Knight and for the life of me I cannot fucking understand why. And I watch all of the vampire shit.

That show is so ... Canadian.

He had zero chemistry with the doc, but somehow they have a big passion at the end? And the guy has no ability to LEARN from his mistakes.

I really wanted to like the show because my friend liked it, but ... urgh.

I'm just about to start season 3 and I'm aware that it was cancelled. But did it wrap everything up knowing it was to be cancelled or is it loose end hell?

no spoilers pls

Soul Man probably broke him, blackface was too triggering even in the eighties.

Yes
