It's true of any dog, but yes pitbulls of objectively more susceptible, no doubt due to their history as fighting dogs. It's confusing our outright inconceivable for a lot of people, but yes, they will be the most peaceful, lazy, lovely loyal animals for years - and then snap for absolutely no reason and maul grandma/baby. And again this can and does happen with any 'domesticated' animal, including humans. And it doesn't even happen to any significant percentage of pitbulls. It just undeniably does happen to pitbulls more than any other breed.
