I'm making a yaoi webcomic for my own enjoyment and the enjoyment of people who like the same things as I and I want to spare myself the stress of dealing with sjws.
Is "Everything that happens in this comic is because the author wants it to happen and the author does not claim to represent rape or stockholm syndrome in any way but only self-insert sex she likes with a man she likes" enough to shut them up?
Jeremiah Kelly
sjws don't give a shit about some random porn artist, keep dreaming, you're not worth any attention
Carter Lee
Nothing you do or say will be right, because SJWs and internet faggots in general will find any excuse to bitch to you. They will shove their opinionated rants in your inbox, like it or not.
Brayden Scott
No, because Authorial intent is dead. Or, at least, that's what the sjws will tell you.
Jackson Lee
I wish porn is all they ever talk about. Children in afghanistan can get burned with acid but god forbid a woman enjoys herself with smut she likes.
Blake Morgan
Cool then I'll have an excuse to be rude to them as they being rude to me first by ignoring my statements.
Mason Stewart
*they are Obligatory sage.
Anthony Perez
>No, because Authorial intent is dead. Or, at least, that's what the sjws will tell you.
Read Death of the Author. Authorital intent is actually largely meaningless as one cannot ask Shakespeare what his view of what Hamlet is really about is because Shakespeare's been dead for some time and no one asked him when he was alive.
Most people don't give a shit about the author's intent. They DO give a shit about their on interpretation of what they saw.
But to the OP there are really retarded people in the world and if you're worried about how stupid plebs are going to interpret your fucking gay-porn webcomic then you probably shouldn't be writing.
If the story isn't for YOU first then how can you expect anyone else to enjoy it?
Owen Kelly
Tha works when the author is dead, hasn't left a statement of authorial intent and you cannot ask them, but that's just rude when the author is alive and wants to make sure her work is clear and undisputable.
>If the story isn't for YOU first then how can you expect anyone else to enjoy it? That's my point. SJWs don't want a story to be for the author first. When the author of 50 Shades of Grey defended her own book saying it was her fantasy and she wrote no rape at all sjws and feminists turned into screeching banshees demanding she recognized she had written rape and treated it accordingly. Why the hell should I pretend I'm writing rape when I'm writing something sex I want and I enjoy? Do sjws want me to have a positive attitude to rape now?
Dominic Fisher
I wouldn't worry about it so much, OP, those types tend to only go after big name artists. By the time they notice you, I think it'll be pretty easy for you to just ignore them.
Hudson Fisher
They were right, though. 50 Shades of Grey is one big rape of literature as a medium.
Jordan Brown
>Caring about what others think of something you create.
You deserve failure.
Jonathan Moore
are you incapable of just ignoring them? SJWs only have power when people start replying to them. If they send messages to whatever inbox you have on whatever site you're on, act like they're not there, and the conversation never starts.
Aiden Martinez
>female author >self-inserting into yaoi How does that even work?
Lucas Perez
This, the high road is just not responding to or acknowledging them at all.
Adam Thomas
How obsessed are you people if that's what you think of when planning out a story? Nobody even gives a shit.
Aiden Perez
No, it's just a recognition of rape fantasy as the most popular female desire, that is, to be dominated by a tall rich handsome man who will fall in love with you afterwards ;^)
Henry Reed
bitches self-insert as the sissy
Angel Fisher
It's because most artists are young senitive libby faggots who are passive swjs to begin with
Blake Brown
Do you have any idea how annoying it was working with a group of women when that book came out? "Oh, I had my husband get rough with me last night just like in 50 Shades. He pulled my hair, we're so kinky."
Colton Phillips
Yes, I've been to /cgl/ before.
Christopher Perry
Just write what you want and ignore anyone that complains about it. You're not asking them to look at your work, and you're not getting paid for it. Who cares what they think? You don't need a disclaimer unless you're a big influence, and even then you don't REALLY need to have one. Don't forget to stay open to constructive criticism though
Joseph Lee
>spend several thousand years making sure women can never get rich via a trade, own land, or vote >turn around and complain that the fantasy of a hot rich dude riding along and bending over backwards to give you everything you want is so widespread
Julian Flores
>biologically based gender roles are oppression Before as recently as the early 20th century females could not compete with males for the vast majority of physical labor. An average women is physically equivalent to a teenage boy.
The biggest mistake 1st world feminists make is to apply their middle class bias to history and rest of the world and ignore the physical labor of working class women everywhere, let alone working class males.
Henry Diaz
Are you implying if we establish some prejudice free utopia women WILL NOT fantasize about handsome rich men dominating them and falling in love with them??
Are you some kind of a delusional dyke??
Matthew White
Don't worry they're too busy complaining about Voltron, Rick and Morty, Gravity Falls, and Star Wars yaoi to notice webcomics right now
Hudson Bailey
Landwhales wish that they weren't female.
Kevin Moore
eh... it's like Sup Forums or Sup Forums wishing they were QT grills
Hunter Stewart
I'm saying that's one firefly that's never gonna be put back in its bottle. you have only the selfishness of your male ancestors to blame
Xavier Nguyen
>Harlequin novels never existed Wut. This shit is not new, and I've read/heard way more females complaining about this book than males. (if only, I suspect, because males are too sexist to care about what women read.)
Asher Moore
>An average women is physically equivalent to a teenage boy.
Yeah but so is an average Sup Forums user
Bentley Parker
>implying this even needs to be said
Jackson Sanchez
I don't care about that. Show me your yaoi.
Evan Ross
no way to please sjw. ever youre better off saying the usual "this comic is a work of fiction and does not represent the morals of the author" shit and not feeding their attention at least thats what i plan to do
Grayson Peterson
Sup Forums gets better. They wish to be Marty.
Christian Rogers
Prolly not but always best to have that up front Otherwise they'll think you're backtracking or something if you add it later once people start to complain.
Josiah Kelly
Honestly the best tip is to just never engage them. You get hate mail? Don't even acknowledge it. If people see that you respond to another they'll think you'll respond to them as well and send in their own opinion.
Juan Ortiz
Eh some of this is overblown, the band societies homo sapiens probably spent most of its existence in were pretty egalitarian, culture actively physically shapes the brain and shit though.
I remember there was one group of monkeys that switched from male dominated to egalitarian to this day in a single generation because a bunch of the asshole male monkeys got sick and died.
Carson Wilson
Just saying that things were this way doesn't mean "it has to be this way" usually but I think it's people trying to create meaning and identity for themselves out of the random meaninglessness of life. Gender roles are sort of a way for people to pretend they have meaning and they didn't come from nowhere but aren't that set like most things.
