My grandfather was a detective and his sense of humor was pretty dark because of it. Whenever he'd have guests over he'd show them disgusting crime scene pictures and shit. One of my first experiences with gore was my grandfather showing me a picture of some nigger who's head had been nearly cut off - with the rest of his body being covered in stab wounds, missing fingers/toes and shit like that. I was only around 10.
