>visit japan >tokyo >grey and bleak af >it stinks >dirty >food smelly and tastes disgusting >attractions are half baked shit >half the POI are shopping related >trains aren't always on time at all >5 star hotel with no sound proofing
the only good thing was the japan international museum.
is this true? did you visit anywhere else? I want to visit Japan next year or so and I want to know what's decent. I understand Tokyo is their international hub so it's probably not good.
Luke Nelson
It's annoying when foreign people talk about ”Japan”,it's actually Tokyo's stereotype

>visit capital >be surprised it's shit

It's disgusting. >no greenery >no privacy >6,158 people/km2 Big cities should be abolished

Sorry Mehmet, unlike in Goymany, there's no girl who loves getting raped for free by a hairy ass mudshit like you.

Odaiba was one bearable part because it was clean. And the monorail was cool I guess.

totally wrong place to go for sightseeing unless you are an anime maniac to enjoy shopping in Akihabara

A bit exaggerated but kinda true, I liked Korea a lot more. Koreans are better in everything.

Generally the more the place you visit is different from your own place, the more your travel would be satisfying. Therefore Tokyo should not be such a different city than yours.
And >japan international museum what is this?
I wanna visit there too. It would suffice my curiosity.
William Bennett
this japan is shit!!!

I wouldn't fling shit when Berlin is much, much worse.
>visit Germany >Berlin >grey and bleak af, even the buildings >it stinks >dirty, constant grime and rubbish everywhere >food smelly and tastes disgusting >attractions are half baked shit >half the POI are WW2 related >trains aren't on time at all >3 star hotel with no sound proofing or any basic comforts
To top it all off, the culture is just plain degenerate and the people just horrible. It was not a pleasant place to visit at all. And this was over 5 years ago, before the city was made worse by the flood of uneducated immigrants you invited. The only redeeming point of my whole visit was that museum that had the Greek and Persian temples and stuff.
Sorry mate, while Tokyo is by no means paradise (Kyoto was better), it is far better than Berlin. I would even go as far as saying London is better than Berlin, though not by much.
Daniel Jones
Don't come here.
and obey his tips.
William Peterson
when tourists visit Berlin, they shall realize the fact that Germany belongs to Eastern Europe rather than to Western.
Ryder Howard
This is such a commonly made "argument" but it is totally irrelevant.
Picking a city from the home country of the OP and calling it shit does nothing to change the validity of his point. Just because Berlin might be shit, doesn't mean Tokyo isn't shit. Nor does it mean that just because he's from what you see as a shit country, he can't be critical of other places.
If you are going to make an argument, at least make a decent one that makes sense.
Nathaniel Myers
>If you are going to make an argument, at least make a decent one that makes sense. we can say that user choose the wrong city for his tastes, it's like not liking arts and going to Florence
Hunter Garcia
Because how can you tell Tokyo is shit if you don't compare it to another city? My whole post was that while Tokyo may be shit, it was certainly not as shit as Berlin. Likewise if I were to judge how shit Canberra is, I would say it is worse than Berlin because at least Berlin has something of interest in it.
Carson Thomas
You are right.
Japan is overrated. It's a good country, but not the paradise and future/cyberpunk/exciting urban fantasy that most people think it was.
It's a normal fucking country which is actually quite boring once the new-ness wears off.
Parker Young
Yuckino is shit.
Matthew Collins
I loved Florence. If I ever go to Japan again I'll visit Kyoto but I guess I'll have to survive on two weeks of mcdees. Japanese food is shit. A lot of german food as well don't get me wrong. But the constabt fish in everything blergh.
Carson Rivera
Japan seems to be good for historic buildings, folklore and hot springs, landscapes seems good too

Mason Morris
Still, it is better than Germany, which has only sausage and beer.
I don't actually think Tokyo is that bad, I quite like it. It was fairly clean apart from Roppongi, had very little Niggers except for Roppongi, it's very organized despite the masses of people. Sure it's bleak and gray, but what can you expect from a concrete jungle. You can still very easily escape the busy roads and find yourself in cute, quaint little alleys though. The amount of single family homes actually surprised me, the city isn't built as high as you'd expect. I find it interesting how even the busiest road in Tokyo just flows smoothly while in Europe you can't even walk down a pedestrian zone that is 25% crowded without having to go in slalom all the time because people just walk anywhere. I didn't notice any particular smell and the trains were always on time apart from maybe a 2 minute delay, and I have traveled extensively across the island. Japanese food is overrated as fuck though. I decided to just settle for Gyudon and shitty curry and was fine with that, some convenience store rice balls every now and then. Filled the stomach and that's all I needed.
Seoul on the other hand is an incredibly dirty and messy city. Trash everywhere, paper and cardboard flying around all the time, people tape posters to the ground and after ten minutes pedestrians have trampled it to bits, grannies annoying you with leaflets every 10 meters, psycho Christians shouting on every corner. Korea is very Chinese, it still has this raw, underdeveloped edge to it with its third world bazar like wholesale market buildings and underground malls everywhere. The countryside is 50 years behind the big city as well. I was also surprised by the huge Sandpeople community there. Some markets are literally little Pakistan or wherever they came from. And when it comes to smell, Seoul has a sewage problem and it there are those random bursts of concentrated shit smell every few blocks. It's like someone opened the septic tank. Korean food is also overrated but bulgogi is nice.
Lincoln Perry
>visit a country >only go to its worst urban nightmare >decide the entire country is shit why do int anons do this so much
Ayden Sanders
>The amount of single family homes actually surprised me,
What were you surprised? I think that the city of a suburban detached house is not only in Japan but also in every country. Is there a detached residential area such as Japan in Germany? :3
Elijah Young
this koreans are the better japanese
Leo Phillips
>Takata airbags >Kobe steel >Mitsubishi scandal >Nissan scandal >Subaru scandal >Toray Industries scandal I trust Korean quality more than Japanese quality.
Easton Hall
Korea was fucking shit. Nobody understood English, barely the ones working at my hotel and there were drunk people literally everywhere during the night.
