You guys keep talking about how the Joker don't deserve to be feared. But everyone forgets the deux-ex-machina that is the Joker Venon?

>Can make the victim die, enter into mind control or become a violent idiot. With programmable reaction time
>Unlike fear gas, Icarus and whatever Poison Ivy farts. The gas is apparently a miracle of chemistry, which can be modified several times to be unrecognized, undetectable, and hardly decoded.
>Joker is immune to any quantity of it, once he fled injecting concentrated doses in his body and infecting the guards who came into contact with his skin by sweating
>He is the only one who knows how to produce it, It was once implicated that he can only make the venom using his own blood samples (wat?)
>Can infect any kind of living being (even aliens)
>Also can be acid and explosive, if the Joker was good he probably would discover how to use the damn thing to cure cancer and make potable water from piss

Joker also shares the "Prep time" power with Batman, he can inject the thing in the lunch of whorever he wants wherever he wants. Has a lot of hiding places, traps and undercover agents over all the city that no one knows.

42 hours trapped beneath an unstoppable metal Lincoln. Its enough to give anyone a stroke.

Why doesn't joker just start up a gasmask store on the side while threatening to gas the city for the umpteenth time?

You win, user.

because he wants things that arent money more than he wants money.

Don't forget that the Joker in the DCAU invented a chip that when stuck on the back of someones neck can rewrite the dna into the Jokers complete with all his memories. So yeah, the Joker has some bullshit on par with Batman's bullshit.

>complete with all his memories

Couldn't people use the chip to discover who he is?

Depends if the chip can just be read by a machine or if it just fucks up your dna. He made it so that Tim didn't even know he was Joker so it's not like they could just stick on the chip and then remember what they saw when they were Joker.

>Can infect any kind of living being (even aliens)
I guess you better tell Superman that when he inhaled it to save everyone at the UN.

Any minute he's going to lose his shit.

We're fucked

Well, this explain the new 52 and the snyder movies

Can Joker Venom make Batman rape the Joker?

Goddamit Gordon! but yes

Say what you will about Snyder's run, but he really managed to sell the joker as an actually danger in a world full of superhumans, with prep feats that almost reach batman's level of ridiculousness.

>Snyder completely missed the point of the Joker's character
Yes, I agree.

Didn't the writers say in commentary or something that Joker stole that stuff from Cadmus when he busted out the Royal Flush Gang.

Not all Joker Venoms are the same, you realize that right? It's more like a class of chemicals, like nerve gas.

>Uh, Tim, Dini, you can't have the Joker kill anyone.
>Well, can we just make him gas them with something that gives them great big smiles?
>Can you give it an antidote?
>Whatever.
>Great! Now the kids won't be scared by all the death!

>Damnit, they got us again...

Oh man Joker gas was always some fucked up shit.
I was always mad at Static Shock for fucking it up in their crossover.
>That scene didn't make me feel deeply uncomfortable, you did it wrong.

No, they said it in that Justice League Unlimited episode "Epilogue".

Joker's goal is basically either chaos or amusing himself, generally one through the other though.

Money is usually secondary to him, but sometimes he finds it amusing. He doesn't care to keep it, just wants to get it.

Nah, it was part of the story of Killing Joke.

After killing Jason and his mom, Joker applies to become the ambassador to Iran and give Superman and Batman (who had finally decided to kill the Joker) the finger and laugh.

Then he tried to release Joker gas, but Superman inhaled it all and neutralized it in his lungs. He then talked Batman down out of killing Joker, and gives one of the best versions of his no kill speech afterwards (he may have been high on neutralized Joker gas from Clark's speech though).

>Joker starts up a gasmask scalpers under the threat of a Joker gas bomb
>All the Joker's masks are fitted to spray their wearers
>The gas he unleashes is completely harmless

Except he wasn't very entertaining. Sick amusement is supposed to be why people like seeing the Joker. He's even broken the 4th wall and said exactly that.

I could see that, maybe. If we're talking TAS Joker though, he needs a really good joke to deliver relating to it though.

Just realized that Jack Nicholson was the only Live action Joker to use the toxin so far. Better have Leto Joker use it on somebody in The Batman or whatever the fuck he's in next.

>if the Joker was good he probably would discover how to use the damn thing to cure cancer

I would actually buy it as in character for the Joker to legitimately cure cancer or some other disease during one of his stints in Arkham just to fuck with Batman. Just so that whenever Bruce is making a list of all the atrocities that Joker has committed, he'd also have to add "He also cured cancer" to the end of it.

Is he always immune to it? He wears a mask in btas a few times iirc.

Nah man, his super-liver was able to process it. Don't underestimate Superman!

If there's ever a Joker/Lex team-up in the movies, the plot should be based on the Joker venom. Joker makes the venom, Lex comes up with a plan to make the most use out of it. Or Lex steals the venom from Joker, Joker gets angry and tries to get revenge on him.

The question of the Joker's identity never really mattered in the DCAU, did it? Apart specifically from Return of the Joker where it's really not the original's identity that matters

If I'm not mistaken, isn't that when the Gas is mixed with other toxic chemicals that could harm him? Kind of like if he's stabbed with a knife coated in it, the serum isn't gonna kill him but the stabbing will. And even if the poison was enough to kill people, the Joker would want people to laugh as they die.

The Joker's true identity should never matter. Whoever that man was, he's dead now.

It's Jack Napier in the DCAU, everybody knows that, there was even a TV show about it (see the episode with the Creeper)
