What country would you like to move to, assuming that visas were NOT a limiting factor?
You'd still have to taken into consideration education, job opportunities, cost of living, cultural norms etc, you just don't have to worry about needing a visa.
Which one would you choose and why? Would you move at all?
Austria seems to have lots of British tourists for some reason, I remember noticing even more Brits than Germans there, at least in Vienna and Innsbruck, I wonder why that is.
Jaxon Morales
Malaysia
Kayden Long
Australia Spain Italy
In that order
Ryan Perry
I am 50/50 on moving to Australia or Canada. Probs going to do a post-doc in one of those country and see how I like it there.
Jacob Morales
Texas, Israel, Algeria, Northern Mexico, or Patagonia (Argentina). It's a biome thing.
Jacob Torres
The countries I'd travel to, don't require a Visa already, but the next on the list that does require a Visa would be Australia.
Owen Cox
I would stay here
Cameron Rogers
why mate? Australia seems like a lot of hassle for you to move there, far away, insects, crocs etc.
Would be much easier to move to Spain or Italy. Also, isn't Portugal quite comfy? Seems like an amazing country, except for the economy, but that's the only downside I see in Portugal.
Charles Smith
>>>Israel
the fuck bro?
Why do so many of you want to go to Australia? From your options I'd rather go to Canada.
Closer to Europe and the USA, people seem friendlier in general, I also think it's not as expensive to live in as Australia, but of course that depends on where you're living. What's your area of study?
I have family in Australia and know that there is a sizable community of us there so I would feel more at home. Job opportunities are also better and it is a wealthier country.
Eli Rivera
Australia is more fun than Canada
Isaiah Gonzalez
shit reason to move to a place mate. Do you not realize all of the problems Israel has with its neighboring countries?
Surely Israel is advanced and there are things to see there, but MOVING there doesn't seem like a good idea... then again less people die there than in this shithole we live in so what do I know, kek
Hudson Lopez
>You'd still have to taken into consideration education, job opportunities, cost of living, cultural norms etc Might as well stay here, these are all major hurdles. Could try out Switzerland, but I could already go to Austria right now and I still don't because the change in life quality wouldn't be profound and I'd have to leave all my family behind.
Parker Robinson
I suppose that depends a lot on your idea of what "fun" is.
I personally detest warm climates and I like winter sports so Canada is a better choice IMO, but if Australia suits you, so be it!
>wealthier country
In what regard? Pure economics? Doesn't Canada have way more natural resources available to it than Australia? Potable water, oil, minerals etc. Also GDP is higher in Canada than Australia.
Charles Brown
>I'd have to leave all my family behind.
you gotta be fucking kidding me. Even if you were living in Salzburg and your family in Kiel it wouldn't even take a single day to travel that distance and I'm considering a train as the mode of transportation here.
Cooper Phillips
>In what regard?
>prospective Australian salary in USD: $136k USD >prospective Canadian salary in USD: $63k
Justin Rivera
also, what part of Germany do you live in? I say that because I didn't notice that much of a difference between the places I stayed when compared to Austria, although I did notice it when compared to Switzerland.
Dylan Morales
What field?
Landon Peterson
Professor.
Isaiah Gray
Central/East Germany. The Alps still get painted as white people haven but I think that even in Austria there would be more foreigners than here.
Jonathan Perez
>jobs with that pay available only in the five urban centers in Australia >houses there reliably cost $2 million even for American tier build quality
Brandon Rogers
>prospective housing price in Sydney/Melbourne: $1,000,000.00+
Luke Hill
Ireland or Scotland desu.
John Rogers
I'm from Southern German so I wouldn't go anywhere.
Cooper Rogers
Yeah, that's true. Still you usually still come out ahead. I don't think there is a single place on earth where higher cost of living and higher salaries equates lower net benefit. I actually calculated this for a lot of places and it seem to be a general rule.
Brandon Bailey
I'm quite content with where I am now and would not want to move. I would like to visit Germany, ireland, england, and Russia some day as I have always been told that that is where most of my family is from, but I honestly don't want to live there.
Lucas Perez
switzerland, new england, masschussets, moscow, tokyo, nice or monaco
Carson Smith
>but I think that even in Austria there would be more foreigners than here.
In general I think that's the case but not in Alpine areas from what I checked.
East Germany was noticeably worse compared to Bayern when I was there, no offense, just my opinion. I'm mostly talking about infrastructure and people in general seemed much wealthier in Bayern.
Aiden Johnson
>I don't think there is a single place on earth where higher cost of living and higher salaries equates lower net benefit. I actually calculated this for a lot of places and it seem to be a general rule.
Maybe Hong Kong or Tokyo?
Where in the USA breh?
Aaron Roberts
They are wealthier down there, but money doesn't buy WHITENESS.
Elijah Ortiz
>but money doesn't buy WHITENESS.
true, Eastern Germany does feel whiter.
Ryan Jones
Toronto or Tokyo I hate crowded cities, but i hate more the fucking mexican heat :'c im gonna miss spicy and greasy food, but i'll be aight i guess
Jace Parker
>Toronto or Tokyo >I hate crowded cities
Oh, sorry, didn't think today was "Special" Day.
Michael Rodriguez
Slovenia
Austin White
I would unironically stay here
Kevin Kelly
Odd choice mate. Why?
I don't doubt, Uruguay is the best country in LatAm. Chile is overrated.
Out of curiosity, where in Urugay do you live m8?
Liam Wilson
>Uruguay is the best country in LatAm. hmm, i wouldn't know, i have never travel to other country in latam, but we have a lot of problems, some of them are growing. Would stay here just because i don't imagine myself in other country. I'm from Montevideo.
Adrian Cruz
See I responded the wrong post
Hunter Davis
I've been to Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Uruguay and well I'm from Brazil.
Uruguay is miles ahead of the others bar Chile, but Chile is just not as comfy as Uruguay and the people not as interesting and charming.
It's still LatAm so of course it has problems, but not as many problems as my own home country and the other shitholes in this region of the Earth.
Chase Reyes
>It's a biome thing. explain
Charles Bennett
Probably Australia or Canada, they just seem like nice places to be.
You're welcome up here anytime!
Cameron Walker
Netherlands or Norway
Liam Murphy
St. Helena
Nicholas Cox
Finland. I've been everywhere else and it's shit.
I can always go on short trips to other countries like Portugal, the second best country in the world, for a week or so at a time but not to live.
Adrian Roberts
Switzerland or New Zealand are the only two countries on earth that I would want to move to.
John Richardson
Tokyo is the most crowded city on this whole fucking earth bro and why anyone would ever want to live in cucknada is beyond me.
Parker Ross
fucking kekimus maximus
the girl on the bottom right is Brazilian you absolute mongol.
Connor Robinson
The USA is great and has many great places.
Would like to be a Maple Syrup producer in Vermont.
Evan Wilson
UK, Ireland, France or the Netherlands. Basically somewhere with a moderate temperature. I live in the midwestern US and it's sweltering in the summer and frigid in the winter.
Tyler Wright
>The village is especially popular with British tourists; as a local tour guide explained: "The Germans all want to see Mozart's house in Salzburg; the Americans want to see where The Sound of Music was filmed; the Japanese want Hitler's birthplace in Braunau; but for the British, it's all about Fucking." >Augustina Lindlbauer, the manager of an area guesthouse, noted that the area had lakes, forests, and vistas worth visiting, but there was an "obsession with Fucking". Lindlbauer recalled how she had to explain to a British female tourist "that there were no Fucking postcards."[
Camden Harris
Erm... I really don't know what to say to that.
just move to San Diego I guess?
Chase King
Nowhere Was born in this shithole and will die in it
Gavin Price
The Pacific NW is my ideal climate but living abroad would be cool too
Henry Watson
As a programmer i only see america as more viable than canada. Similar culture and laws and stuff. But I wouldn't move, canada is a shining beacon of hope in this shit world.
Ryder Morris
Probably Austria
Cool people, lovely landscapes, nice cities and towns, sweet ass mountains yet still close to the sea
Owen Perez
I'm pretty content with New York. >downside: I share a country with fucking idiots >upside: those fucking idiots hardly effect NY at a state level. But if I had to pick, Australia or Norway.
