Hey faggots

How is the 2nd amendment gonna protect you from tyranny when the government has tanks, jets, nukes and missiles?

The spirit of the people!
We can overwealm any Goverment, through the power of the people!
Heil Hitler 14/88!

What would you like to know specifically?

This thread should be a ban-able offense.

You're forgetting one thing; the military is on our side.

vietnam and all of the middle east managed

Do people who seriously deride the USA for being failed war mongerers in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc, mocking them for being defeated by farmers with kalashnikovs, genuinely suffer this cognitive dissonance?

we have tanks, jets, and missiles too, a boy scout was even building a nuke in his cuck shed :^)

ask the Vietnamese.

you still need soldiers for all of them, and they're going to have a moral dilemma shooting the people they are meant to protect, unless its an extreme organization like europe's terrorgroups in the 70's/80's

hide in school/church rooftop or second story window
snipe soldiers or try to damage vehicles
run like hell
repeat
its pretty easy

>break into whitehouse
>US army nukes the whitehouse

>this thread again
>same Norwegian poster
>everyone still takes the bait

All that shit is useless in an urban environment fighting a resistance force
this

How did the Finns stand up to the Soviets in the Winter War?

How did the US lose to Vietnamese troops?

How come North Korea isn't steamrolled by the US right now?

Why were the nukes dropped on Japan?

An armed and resisting population is the occupiers worst nightmare. One that exists in and is indistinguishable from your own population, perhaps already involved in your own government, militia, army or political apparatus, is a fifth column ready to topple your regime.

...

Is that why Assad isn't getting his ass kicked by the people?

>a government will nuke its own territory
>vietnam, afghanistan and iraq got totally btfo by US army because they had shit equipment... oh wait.

sage

OP dumb fuck, Muslims beat Russians without jets and helicopters, the entire middle east did the same to America, and of course there's Vietnam.

I think the lesson from those wars is that a huge material advantage doesn't mean a whole lot if your people don't have the will to fight. We lost the will to accept collateral damage etc. when you fight people who hide amongst the civilian population you have to have the will to take civilian losses.

Are you fucking retarded or something? The government doesn't have those, the military does. The military will always side with the people if the government is abusing their powers.
