S*udis about to get even more BTFO.

Can you please post all of your SCW-related pics? I lost all of my images.

Kurds will rule the middle east and capture Jerusalem, then keep the jews and expell the arabs.

DEVELOPMENTS AUGUST 20
>Turkish Government pledges to stop aiding the rebels if the Syrian Government wages war with the SDF

Source?

The source is the crack OP sniffed in the picture

SAAnime!

Does anyone have an English translation of the agreement between Turkey/Israel which just passed? Or at the very least, a page that can be translated.. Thanks

SDF is moving south from Manbij into Khafsah. Incomprehensible. Why go so far south?

Tactic of chaos. Attack everywhere so the enemy does not know where to expect the main push. Dilute defences.

Here's a collection of mine from my laptop. This is not my entire collection, most of them are on my phone.

I made this thread in a rush; I thought there was an article in the previous thread but this is what I had seen. If I have time, I'll make a correction in the next bread.

>@TimInHonolulu
>YPG official: they will not stop fighting until Syrian government removed from Hasakah city.

Imho government should widthdraw from Hasaka and Qamishli, reach an agreement with the kurds postwar and join forces to remove the kebab like happens in Iraq

Not gonna happen.

This Also because they are cocky now and think US is unbeatable.
If Russia plays the cards right with Turkey... We might be close to WW3 if something big escalates.

Didn't say so xD but the war would be over in a year

I for one hope the YPG does not stop its relentless campaign to clean Rojava from Baathist filth.

>Iranian reinforcements arrived in the area of Quneitra and the Syrian army pulled out part of its area. The new website - "Alaitihad Award" - argues that in recent days arrived Quneitra Iranian forces of the Revolutionary Guards and troops "Basigh "and deployed in the town of Albat.

>At the same time, know the site say that the Syrian army withdrew from the area a large part of his forces and transferred them to another segment. Activity surge is done, says a high-ranking Syrian sources, as part of preparing for a major offensive in the triangle of death (Damascus-Daraa-Quneitra) to pushing rebel forces from the region and especially from the border with Israel.

>imho government should let its citizen in Hasaka Qamishli either left to die or let all their belonging stolen by kurds in hope that the kurds won't need one or two months of getting bombed to pieces post-war
10/10 planning and loyalty right here

...

Why isn't SAA attacking in Latakia now that most of FSA is focused on Aleppo, they did it succesfuly last time.
Not Armchair General just curious...

Saudi Arabia and Israel must pressure Jordan to stop its game. The situation in the south is becoming unbearable. Gotta at least take Khan Arnaba and Baath City before any ceasefire.

>ethnical cleansing argument
ok.

I'd like to see "occupied golan" stretch more to the right.

Holy crap the other day I was thinking about making that exact pic

Don't push it m8 we're allies here let's keep it that way

I wonder why there has been such a major shift in the south. Prior to this Aleppo hodgepodge, everything was stable and quiet in the south.

Top fucking kek m8.

me too just don't populate it with this

Let's focus on ending the idea of Greater Syria before we start talking about real, manly happening shit.

two reasons I can think of:

1. To create a buffer zone for the Al-Bab offensive if it really is happening

2. To expand buffer zone of Manbij against ISIS counter-offensives

3. ISIS is focusing on more important areas and they're just picking up random tiny barely manned villages as easy targets

This is my first time entering a Syria general.
Can somebody give me a brief explanation as to what is going on in Syria (obviously there is a civil war but I would like to know more) and who Sup Forums is siding with.

Fuck you, we will give them free food, housing and schools when we build our self sufficient envy of nations.

Same. These look like they could be fun if I knew wtf was going on

Turkish Bro filled me in yesterday.

>Loyalists:

Syrian Armed Forces and allied Syrian militia.
Russian Air Force.
Iran.
Hezbollah.

Some of the loyalist militia:

National Defence Forces, mostly Syrians who don't want to serve in the military. They tend to form reserves and just fuck around.

Ba'ath Brigades, volunteers from the Ba'ath party, mostly Sunnis.

Al-Abbas Brigades, mostly Iraqi Shia militamen, some returned to Iraq after it got rekt by IS.

Arab Nationalist Guard, Pan-Arabists composed of Arabs from all over the world. I don't know how they differ from the Ba'athists.

Army of Monotheists, Druze militants.

Fatemiyoun Brigade, IRGC supported Afghan Shia militamen, Shia Islamists.

Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command, Palestinian organisation based in Syria, took sides with the government. Don't know how secular they are but they are Arab nationalists.

Sootoro, based in Hasakah and Qamishli, mostly Christian Assyrians.

Syrian Social Nationalist Party, literally Hitler. They fantasize for a greater Syria that includes territories from all bordering countries including Cyprus.

Syrian Resistance, commies led by an Alawite from Turkey, active in Latakia.

All of these groups enjoy support from China, North Korea, and Houthis; though they aren't present in Syria.

I know this is ridiculousbto ask, but can someone give a low effort tldr of everything that's gone on in Syria, for a huge NEET?

added the third one later as a non-reason but forgot to edit, kek

Turkish Bro cont.

>Islamic State:

Enjoys open support from no one, but used to be buddies with moderate head choppers a few years ago.

>Opposition:

Free Syrian Army, mostly Muslim Bortherhood-esque Islamists. Some actual secularists here and there in miniscule amounts, and most of those are now with the Syrian Democratic Forces. Also has no central operations room, IIRC; so most FSA guys aren't really united.

Islamic Front, Salafists headquartered in Idlib.

Aleppo Conquest, Salafists headquartered in Aleppo.

Mare' Operations Room, based in Azaz in northern Aleppo governorate, similar to FSA ideologically.

Ahrar al-Sham, hardcore Salafists with many foreign militants, headquartered in Idlib governorate. Part of the coalition Army of Conquest(Jaish al-Fatah).

Turkistan Islamic Party, Uyghurs. Salafists, I think. Part of AoC.

Jabhat Ansar al-Din, Salafists who aren't really bothered by IS. Don't know where they are headquartered. Lots of foreigners.

Jund al-Aqsa, Salafists who don't fight IS. Lots of foreigners. Headquartered in Idlib.

Keep in mind that these guys are only a part of the clusterfuck that is the rebels. Lots of other groups allied with these guys. Sometimes these groups fight with eachother. They all have sub-groups that sometimes don't listen to orders and fuck around. Non-AoC rebels enjoy support from NATO, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, and Israel. AoC receives open support from Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.

Other Major Groups

>Jabhat Fateh al-Sham(al-Nusra):

Front for the Conquest of the Levant. Used to be a part of al-Qaeda until a few weeks ago. They are generally not considered a part of "the rebels" since they seem to be trying to establish their own IS-like state. However, Nusra is allied with and embedded within most rebel groups. A part of AoC. Receives no open support from anyone, but rebels routinely give or sell their equipment to them.

>Syrian Democratic Forces:

Rojava. It is mainly composed of YPG; a commie-ish K*rdish separatist group. They seek autonomy from the Syrian government, and actively fight IS. A miniscule part of SDF is composed of FSA and the Assyrian Syriac Military Council. Has a fuckton of PKK militants, who are seeking autonomy from Turkey and Iraq. Some other foreign fighters. They receive immense support from the US, and their strength comes from airstrikes. Their numbers are pretty low. Every now and then they fight with the rebels and the regime.

>turks will stop funding rebels if Assad fights Kurds
why the fuck can't roachs be patient
Assad has other things to worry about than some fucking Kurds..jesus egodoshit are so dumb

if they've got an agreement with turkey, there is no reason to fight the turkmen

lol

twitter.com/coldkurd/status/767081779786383360

Is this guy legit or what? Wonder what's going to happen....

Alright then thanks for the explanation but who is Sup Forums supporting?

Not turkey

Thanks.

That is not true, don't know why OP posted that.

More like /sg/, but theres pretty diverse opinion on each faction, many stopped supporting Assad after seeing how incompetent he and his army is.

Sounds like a K*rdish BosnjoBoy to me.

Whoever opposes basic human rights. So obviously the alawite government.

cumhuriyet.com.tr/haber/turkiye/587871/ISiD_den_Gaziantep_e_roket_atildi..._Valilik_ilcede_ozel_guvenlik_ilan_etti.html

IS fires "rockets" on Karakamış district, of the Gaziantep province where Sham Legion is gathering, from Jarablus.

"Stretch a bit more"

>oops, Shalom Turkey & Azerbaijan, how are you this fine day

>UAE
into the trash IT goes

Kurds will be eliminated

I'm not anti-gloabalist, but I do support Assads position of Syrian sovereignty & self rule.

>please help!

How many attempts on that ridiculous stronkman claim have brought us to the current situation at hand?

BREAKING NEWS LADS
LION OF DAMASCUS HIRES FAMOUS TURKISH FIGHTER ACE TO BTFO K*RDROACHES

>I cant give details because of military reasons ..
>But hints there is something big on the way anyway, ruining the element of surprise
every time

Am I the only one who despises Kurds here?
I'm not a massive fan of Turkey and all, but Kurds are terrorist scum for bombing civilians in Turkey
Just because Kurds fight ISIS and have female fighters the media considers them as real human beans and real heroes. The enemy of my enemy is not my friend
Fuck ISIS, fuck Kurds, fuck moderates

THE BABIES ARE DYING IN ALLEPO EVERYBODY, I THOUGHT YOU MIGHT LIKE AN UPDATE ON THE STATUS OF THE BABIES

THE BABIES STATUS

[] SMILING AND HAPPY
[X] DYING
[] BARREL BOMB VISCERA

2 months ago /sg/ was evenly divided on the Kurdish issue.

But now most of /sg/ seems to be of the opinion K*rds are shit

...

USA are cowards
UK will join the Eurasian Entente and we will make sure America collapses...
unless you let Trump win ofc

I don't like Kurds and I can't wait for the Lion of Damascus and the Khan of Anatolia to destroy them

While SAA shills are pontificating about the Erdogan-Assad alliance against Kurds, our moderate beheaders are preparing to capture Jarablus from ISIS with Turkish support, crossing from the Turkish border.

How does /sg/ feel about this?

Spoken like a true Civ 5 playing NEET.

...

...

I don't give two shits about Syria but have a bump for that funny ass OC.

i am glad our shitposting paid off.

>killing militants is somehow barbaric but boming civilians is normal
>Aleppo is on the verge of being reclaimed
Holy shit, this is what Assadites actually believe

my fucknig sides

They also believe Turkey would close its two border crossings with the Syrian opposition when it's about to give them a third one in Jarablus lmao

Are the Kurds all dead yet?

...

...

Another smashing success by the Syrian Arab Army in south Aleppo!

WHY ARE A BUNCH OF CAVE DWELLING SAND MONKEYS SO HARD TO KILL

WHY CAN'T PUTIN AND ASSAD CRUSH THESE NIGGERS IN LITERALLY A DAY

How long till Turkey gets kicked out of NATO and sides with Russia?

Because Allah does not will it. Amen.

urban warfare isn't joke. you had trouble in fallujah during 2nd bush war too.

Maybe after the SAA loses Aleppo but don't get your hopes up

Because we don't like Assad, and we should have Putin aligned with us... You should be astounded that our Government hasn't tried harder in that area... Also, there is no respawn in IRL.

They need to bomb Aleppo like Dresden

Simple, take it as a staging point/strategic point.

If ISIS counter attacks they'll have to go through here before middle of no where - gives them time to defend the bridge and prepare for a defensive. It'll also allow them already established shit route so they have supplies for a further attack.

Also USA wants them to attack Raqqa

>Rojava. It is mainly composed of YPG; a commie-ish K*rdish separatist group.

The YPG is not a political party but a military group. They are armed with weapons and do not have political bands.

The PKK was originaly a communist political party before they took the weapons against the turks but now changed to libertarian socialism more.

>...Has a fuckton of PKK militants, who are seeking autonomy from Turkey and Iraq.

The PKK has nothing to do with Iraq since the Kurds already have autonomy there.

They have their hands full with spring/summer campaign in Turkey and do not have a fukton of them fighting in Syria. Turkey is their main enemy, not syria. They provided (known) help in the Battle of Kobane & Al-Hasakah.

Also defending a decentralized government like the one that replaced Saddam is easier than defending a very centralized regime that is also extremely unpopular like the one currently in Damascus

You got BTFO in vietnam shut your mouth

Nice meme friend

Vietnam every single major engagement and point was made. The only time the vietnam suffered a major defeat was when USA puleld out and north betrayed the peace treaty.

But then again - turks see nothing wrong with breaking morality clauses. Your entire history is based off of betrayal, stealing culture/identity/foods, and genocide.

From a military perspective? No.
From a political one? Yes.

>Kurds are terrorist scum for bombing civilians

You do know that the bombing of civilians (aka causing real terror) is not their main priority right?

They are supported by more than 10 million people in turkey and only target turkish government organisations.

You won't find the PKK bomb a city market place or shoot up an airport.

hello k*rd

>Not posting the superior version that really makes you think huh?

Bonus: We don't know who filmed the beheading.

Their military failed to secure their intended objective of defending South Vietnam. This is a military defeat no matter how you phrase it.

It was a tactical victory, sure, but it was a massive strategic and thus decisive defeat.

>Your entire history is based off of betrayal, stealing culture/identity/foods, and genocide.
most fun history ever

Are you triggered? You got btfo by a bunch of farmers

LMAO

You don't win war since ww2
Fuck off America
