Not really, we're more like in between the scenes that the movie never showed.
It was a shame, if only they had done 6 movies instead of one condensed version. Still, the animation was fantastic.
No the movie if you were using the events as they happen in the book happened at the end of Volume 3
We are well past as far as the movie ever wants to go.
I also disagree that a longer animated thing would be any good.
Lining up the size of things isn't a mark of quality or worthwhile intent
I prefer the movie being its own intricate exact thing.
Movie only really covers parts of the first volume, and ends with Neo Tokyo 2.0 being created.
