ITT: 90s EXTREEEEEME

ITT: 90s EXTREEEEEME

That's metal as fuck!

When you really think about it the early 2000s were worse than the 90s.

...

...

...

That actually looks pretty damn cool.

Not sure what "extreme" 90s is so here

Was the 90s the worst period of the Batman comics?

If wasn't for BTAS many would have given up on Batman.

...

...

>Not sure what "extreme" 90s is

new fag

You're an idiot.

90's extreme >>>>>>>>> Other extreme

Do not disagree

...

The '90s comics in movie form.

Not at all. You had a ton of great experimental stuff like Legends of the dark Knight, and a solid set of books. Later on you'd see all the batfamily get developed independently and stand as their own characters. The most extreme it ever got was Kelly Jone's artwork, which owed itself more to Bernie wrightson horror stylization than Image; and Kightfall, a meta commentary on 90's edginess drawn by Jim Aparo, one of the most un-edgy artists ever.

NML was top tier, and Knightfall was pretty damn good as well. Not to mention we had Legends of the Dark Knight, and The Long Halloween.

The 90s were a great time for Batman comics.

Basically everything Bloodwulf.

get the fuck out

SU fans really are the worst

Man, was any of the Hellraiser stuff past the first movie good? 2 wasn't terrible but goddamn that universe is too cool to waste on all this crap.

>BTAS
>if they called it "Batman Animated: the series" we would be calling it BATS

What a shame.

Just kill yourself right now.

>2010s cartoon of 80s characters dressed as 70s characters

Were you just not alive in the 90s?

Literally the opposite you were supposed to post

Congrats

That's mild in comparison to other stuff.

I want this tattooed on me.

Stop.

...

I think we've reached the point where there are people who don't get the 90s meme.

Granted, the meme itself is retarded and played out at this point

1) Visible hands.
2) Feet that aren't triangles.
3) Male chins aren't parallel to the top of the head, and look like their arms can reach their neck.
4) Females aren't proportioned like basketball player graylings with water balloons on their chests.
5) No popping neck and shoulder muscles.
6) No Spawn/Evil Ernie faces.
7) Anarchy is not presented as the correct lifestyle.
8) No crosshatch shading.
9) No T-shirts with ironic statements.
10) Will Smith is shitty.

Quit being a fag

Yeah, but Will Smith WAS pretty 90s.

That was a different Will Smith. Now he's super serious and only makes dry, sarcastic one liners.

>Evil Ernie
you could have just said Chaos Comics

...

I have never seen one guy be so committed to his shitposting

...

...

>BUTT HEAD

I almost forgot that people used to say that at one point

So metal is just buff dudes being edgy? This isn't even what the 90s was like

I unironically want to read 90s stuff. What's Sup Forums-core for 90s comics with sexy chicks in skimpy outfits, violence all over and edgy-badass mcs who take no shit from nobody?

Bonus points for stuff involving magic and especially spell-casting mcs.

Spawn
Dead pool
The sculptor
Any punisher comics

Doctor Fate was pretty dope

Wetworks.

This rocks

90s X-Men, but mainly X-Force
Early-mid 90s Cable
WildC.A.T.S
Youngblood

Those are most well known examples of the decade

>Bonus points for stuff involving magic and especially spell-casting mcs.

FATE

is that from book of fate? or regular doctor fate?

>Be me
>Be in my 30's
>>Can fondly rember the 90's & it greatness
Feel goodman
P..o.d.w was Underated

There's FATE, then Books of Fate, then he shows up dead in John's JSA.

FATE is pretty shitty, but Books of Fate is surprisingly enjoyable.

It seems odd to me that so much 90s extreme stuff seems to have a 1980s aesthetic to it, like it all looks like 80s heavy metal aesthetic yet metal was considered nerdy in the 90s....

And now I get it

Holly shit, thank you for remembering me of this gem, it scared the living hell out of me as a kid.

>That fucking ":3" animoo face
You make me sick

Nah, user. That movie was 80's as fuck! All it needed was more violence, tiddies and cocaine use. Felt like a Carpenter movie. Wish they got rid of the magic shit and went full Escape From New York with it.

Pic related is extreeme as fuck, and surprisingly good at the same time.

The "Dark Ages of Comic Books" sure was an interesting time

Except for the distracting purple this is a pretty cool costume.

>That's cringe as fuck

>no visible feet
Fucking Liefeld

Hitman is 90's Sup Forums core but I don't know if it fits all those things.

It's still really fucking good though.

It's a dominatrix costume

That third one was TTG

>BLOOD POUCH

so? its a good costume

I remember people saying 'fart head' at one point.

While the 90s was probably Marvel's lowest point, we did get one of the greatest cross over comics ever with pic related

Did any of X-men 92 have the 90s art style, or just the costumes?

John Romita Jr kind of sucks

I would definitely agree is modern stuff is really hit or miss for me but his stuff like man without fear and his punisher run really play to his strengths and show how good he can be

Cant get any more EXTREEEEEME than JL EXTREEEME

>This many people got triggered by an image of cartoon characters in 90's clothes
This board is a mess

Kek, Extreme Ted is just regular Ted with a frown.

No need to get so defensive over your shitty post, user

Comics threads are over run by live-action and cartoon fags all day everyday, faggot.
Go back to you ponyporn.

yeah DC in the 90's was actually good for the most part, it was Marvel that became dire to read in the 90's

Not my post, but people are gonna keep posting it if you keep getting upset at it. It's called trolling.

Liefeld only knows how to draw three different types of hairstyles

the first Body Bags mini-series fits quite well for your needs(and even the newer stuff is still pretty 90's in many respects)

Oh motherfuck you for reminding me of this shit. It was actually pretty entertaining, but halfway into the second issue everything went to shit. Holy fuck damn, I can still feel the disappointment in my veins.

The most extreme panel to ever grace the 90's

my men

>that one episode where that creepy asshole would drink the dark water for some reason

>John Romita Jr kind of sucks
Only when he's not motivated enough.
His work in The Last Crusade was fantastic, but the colorist made it look even better.

Storytime?

>on the edge

Here you go.

The 90's were the only time he really gave more of a shit. Also his style seems to be an attempt at distancing himself as far as he can from his father. He's more fit for noir stylings and plot.

...

For 90s teams pic related always comes to my mind

Goddammit Firestar, I know you're proud of her butt, but do you have to show it off every time you fly?

I wanna cuddle those titties

>catsignal
Somebody, post that one Hitman page.

You deserve all the hate you get. These anons are not wrong, you actually suck.

90's were EDGY in presentation
00's were EDGY in concept
both were ok

The worst era of Batman will always be the Silver Age. Seriously, Brave and the Bold and the Adam West show make it look so much more exciting and fun than it really was. It's absolute dreck through and through.

3 and 4 were standard franchise horror schlock, 5 was an unrelated thriller detective movie that had cenobites copy pasted over the plot, and the rest went horribly downhill from there

I still didn't beat the game.

At least Morrison was able to take everyone;s least favorite era and make it into something really interesting and fun.

this is a cool show for sure

Not in the 80s/90s he didn't.

Batman Adventures was 10/10, so that alone made it not the worst era.
