Post yfw he is dropped from the sequel without explanation

Yfw they went with that design

Having only read a handful of his comics, watched the tv shows and shit does Cyclops ever become intieresting or is he always the boring, predictable white-knight type?

Cyclops is the best, most interesting character in the X-Men, maybe even in all of Comic Books because he's had consistent, interesting character development throughout most of his history.

In other words, actually read comics.

Movie Cyclops is garbage anyway. I'd rather have them cut him out than have them keep on using the boring nerd character they call Cyclops.

He's always been the responsible leader type, which in a team of teens makes him the boring one. But even then he had more going for him than he does in the movies, and he's always been a very capable leader even if he was at times too uptight. He also has a bad habit of second-guessing himself a lot and angsting over whether or not he's cut out to be the leader, but he always kept that shit in private and did his best as the team's top strategist and leader figure in the field.

Over the years he's lost a lot of that straight edge and has become more aggressive and proactive to the point that he became more of a "rebel" than Wolverine. But both he and Wolverine are dead now so whatever. Maybe they can get resurrected some time in he future and flip back and forth between bros and rivals again.

As time went on he became Magneto and Wolverine became Xavier.

That Mystique is fucking hot
Why couldn't she just dress in that for the entire movie? Perfect blend of her comic look while letting precious little Lawrence show her face for star power.

I think that's an overly simplistic way of putting it.

Cyke never became Magneto. He's kind of in between them. He doesn't buy Magneto's mutant superiority spiel, but he's also grow disillusioned by Xavier's pacifistic "let's just be friends" dream. Ultimately he still wants the same thing Xavier wants, but he no longer believes Xavier's methods are the right way to accomplish that goal. So he chose to put mutants first, especially in light of the post-M-day situations where mutants were literally going extinct, and basically told the world to either deal with it or get the fuck out of the way.

>does Cyclops ever become intieresting or is he always the boring, predictable white-knight type?

The most interesting thing Cyclops ever did was walk out on his wife and infant child to hook-up with his ex-girlfriend.

Scott has ALWAYS been a shit character.

Confirmed for not reading comics and only repeating memes.

Confirmed for never having properly read the story.

Confirmedmind.

Fuck off, you're not fooling anyone, Sup Forums.

Confirmed for samefag.

Do you literally not understand how Sup Forums works? The posts were made less than thirty seconds apart you fucking retard.

Your autistic insecurity is showing.

...

>You're a samefag!
>You're autistic!
Just go ahead and call someone a cuck, you're basically a Sup Forums parody at this point anyway.

Go back to attilan beast

Cyclops didn't become Magneto he became more like his kid, Cable where he wouldn't just defend mutants he would hunt down threats to them

So you're saying Scott DIDN'T leave Maddie and Nate the moment he learned Jean had been resurrected, then formed X-Factor with her and deliberately avoided letting her know that he was married so as not to ruin his chances of getting back with her?

You're the one who apparently hasn't read the comics, junior. But I guess if it didn't happen in the cartoons or movies you don't know about it.
