How are the modern heavy metals?

Not that user, but Grant Morrison is the chief editor. I imagine if you like him, you'll like them.

I only started 3 issues ago w/ Morrison's tenure as EIC and they've been really good. First issue was solid, but last two, Sex Special, and Sci-fi have been even better.

He does a prose intro, which is always funny, and a couple stories himself. Most of the other writers/artists come up w/ some good stuff. Nice variety of styles and approaches.

Inb4 shill but I found that the subscription is enormously cost effective. Comes out to like $3.50 an issue as opposed to $8 on newsstands and you get em 1-2 weeks early
