Will we ever leave Earth and colonize the great unknown? Does humanity even have a future in space?

no, antibotiics will be obsolete by 2050

and civilization will fall

Not without socialism.

...

nope.

Of course we will you cuck.

Next thousand years we're going to colonize shit.

THERE IS NO FUCKING POLITICAL INCENTIVE TO COLONIZE SPACE.

Unless we get a Space Race 2.0 in the form of competing corporations. Man that would be fun. The Coca-Cola vs Pepsi of the 21st century.

>shit

Whites and East Asians should colonize the galaxy, leaving dindus, spics, and mudslimes to tear each other apart in our absence.

Earth is flat. Space is fake.

Focus on what matters please.

Well we already have Space X. We just need another company in somewhere like China.

>INCENTIVE

the window is closing

>antibotiics will be obsolete by 2050
Black Death 2.0, but this time with an ironic twist.

It's like those films that end the way they started.

Yep. Sooner than you think.

retard

a resource based economy would fuel the space race for resources
or we can particle accelerator 3d print everything we need

This

The ISS was the most expensive thing ever made by humans. The costs are too high for anything but gov'ts, because the profits aren't going to be high enough for corporations to do anything really major.

>Unless we get a Space Race 2.0 in the form of competing corporations
SpaceX vs Blue Origin vs Virgin Galactic

There's $600 teragorillion worth of valuable metals in the asteroid belt alone. Space exploration/mining would be one hell of a profitable exercise if any organization ever seriously tried it

Until we can find some final solutions to our current problems, let's hope not.

The year is 0079 of the Universal Century...

> build awesome orbital habitat station
> niggers start it on fire for no reason

reminds me of Dead Space

Societies with slaves don't need to innovate, seeing that you've enslaved the world of their resources...........

Where is this from?

We need to spend at least a couple of centuries exploring our own solar system. We can develop a whole fuckload of new technologies in that time, and when we're ready we will fling humans towards the stars. We need to be self-sustainable while traversing interstellar space, or have self-sustainable AI that can survey for us. Either way, we won't see anybody depart for even the nearest star in our lifetime. However, people alive today will be the pioneer explorers of our own solar system, so look forward to some cool shit in the coming decades.

We have a bunch of shit to figure out here on the ground before we visit other places in the Milky Way.

If we did the Mars Direct mission in the 90s, we would probably have a colony on Mars by now.

cloud atlas ftw

Yes and it's going to be messy once their are rival corporate colonies on the Moon and Mars, fighting over territory and resources. The new space age the Space Marine Age.

Go back to building robotic arms, Leaf.

Don't let the masons win, please. This Earth was given to God's children, they are trying to take it from you and I.

>9mm fag
You need to leave

Not this retarded argument again.

Worship your kike on a stick elsewhere, christcuck

>retarded

...

faggots in this thread have never seen a shadow gov spacecraft.. if you faggots only knew how advance """they""" actually are.

Of course.

Argument? It's a fact though, user

We haven't, but robots have. And they will replace us sooner or later.

jupiter and thor are the true gods

if we do, the number of humans born will run into the quadrillions or sextillions. if that happens, then it's odd that we should find ourselves in the first 0.000...0000001% of all the humans ever born. (there have been about 100 billion humans.) more likely there are only a few more 10s of billions to be born before the shit hits the fan

Perhaps. As cool as it would be, that sounds pretty expensive at least at this point. We know an awful lot about Mars, and landing people there wouldn't have taught us much more than we currently know. I'm all for colonizing Mars, but it should be regarded as preliminary work leading up to larger projects that are similar in nature.

If you've never tried it, you should download and fuck around in Space Engine. It's free and lets you simulate the Universe on your computer. If you have a shit PC there are ways to make it run.

Human space travel is a 20th century fantasy.
Humans are too squishy and will soon be irrelevant and replaced by superintelligent A.I.

Maybe this post-human A.I. civilization will spread out into space over time since they have much more survivability in space and would have less concerns with the highly limited human life spans

though if the georgia guidestones are any guide to the future, a population of 300 million people could mean hundreds of generations

Go back to building your own spacecraft, burgerbro.

>Roman and Norse
Could you at least stick to one fucking pantheon?

You will learn sometime soon. They can't prop this fantasy up much longer.

Source for that gif? I think I remember seeing that somewhere

I already have it. I love listening to music while exploring.

>what is syncretism

what about the fucking moon for fucks sake

>the last question by issac asmov

As far as things are going, I don't see even the first steps towards colonization happening in the next 50 years or so. Space exploration is very financially risky and until the world economy stabilizes no one will be willing to risk such an endeavor.

¿qué?

A good question - as with many topics dealing with the heavens we must speculate as best we can, while using REAL scientific observation to verify what we see, and to debunk the propaganda.

Here maybe this will help
youtube.com/watch?v=fH7BjIzXWOg

and the footage from the iss?

what about the moon landing? was that fake?

nope

We do and always have.

Cowards all.

Humanity's destiny lies in the stars for us to shape. Any of you who have doubts in our kind have no place and are a drain on those who seek greater. You should be ashamed of yourselves. We are capable of all things imaginable, it is only a measure of dedication to succeed in these goals.

>the year is 2066
>earth launches it's first manned shuttle to colonize mars
>a collaborative effort by all 1st world countries on earth
>men and women on board are kept up to date with happenings back on earth during their trip
>Trayvon 6.0 happens back on earth
>america's affirmative-action-placed nig throws a fit and sends bullets from a stolen handgun blasting through the shuttle hull causing near instantaneous depressurization and death of all onboard
>global outrage leads to all blacks of a greater than 1/16 complexion to be hunted down globally except in america where the animals are protected
>new space mission is sent
>this time excluding the US
>all other 1st world countries benefit from access to the functionally infinite resources of space and the 0% blacks living among them both on earth and abroad
>within 5 years america is so far left behind its now classed as a third world country

so we could access to all that valuable red dust?

Space is fake. No one has been there because what you think of space as doesn't exist. I encourage you to watch at least one of these. An hour or so isn't so much time. People don't trust their eyes enough...

youtube.com/watch?v=AKUlHsTOPrU

>2066
>1st world countries
>muslims going to space

A big part of space travel is building walls to separate you from the Void, I think God Emperor Trump is the guy to bring humanity to the next level.

It could be our first step into going to worth while places such as the asteroid belt or Titan.

>will probably die before 40 because of disease
>lived in the sjw era

Do not listen to the pessimists user.
Trust me when I say this: We are going to space

If you spent billions~ of dollars colonizing mars and had nothing to show for it, why would anyone be motivated to fund further space exploration

Stop pulling fantasmagory out of your ass.

Were going to nuke ourselves into radioactive cinders.

Not in the next 200 years, so we can't know what the world's politics and economy will be like, but in the meantime we can play Stellaris

>1st world countries
>muslims
>a fucking leaf
So how do you guys do this? Do you have a subreddit you collaborate on before shitposting here or is it just a silent agreement by all Cucknadians to shitpost at every turn?

No, finding out ways to give little boys vaginas is far more important.

Did you not notice that europe is being taken over by islam?

>mfw i just realised i live in the alt right era

Oh god how embarrassing.

And I think you're right.

But we aren't just going to fly a ship to Saturn without experience. However, it could be cheaper to do the HAVOC mission to Venus.

could be worse, could have been the neocon era.

sorry I didnt realize space exploration had RPG elements

>takes 1 hr 30 minutes to explain the theory
>takes 10 minutes to explain tides on a sphere

I don't consider that an argument.

It unfortunately takes a long time to de-program people from layers of misinformation, and in many cases it is impossible. I hope the best for you.

But we need to know how to do shit and a failure of a mission to Mars would be cheaper than a failure of a mission to Saturn. We need to take baby steps.

you must really want to fuck some mass effect aliens or something

brb, reinstalling mass effect

from the video:

If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.

>irony alert

so there's literally a 50% chance that the flat earthers are the lie, and i'd rather believe that we're in a contingent universe than on some sort of disc-world.

explain what lies beyond the disc

youtube.com/watch?v=O133ppiVnWY

That graph is used somewhere towards the end. I know it's long but very interesting and well worth watching in its entirety.

No one knows. Don't trust anyone in these videos by the way who says they do - you don't need to trust anyone on this, just get an honest amount of the alternative ideas so that you can weigh what you think afterward.

Yes that quote can be used for anything. You can 'rather' believe what you like, I just recommend you give it a shot for a few days - take in some of the content out there challenging what is publicly considered to be un-challengable.

Nobody in the many FE communities expect anything from viewers except to give it a shot and open their minds.

i've been on that flat earth forum and they cry and shit their pants if you bring up any real evidence IE videos of people demonstrating curvature of the earth using faraway buildings on the horizon

that is tarded

You're a fucking moron. Go ahead and explain the Coriolis Effect you cunt.

I'm fine with everyone's objections and I"m certainly not going to defend every single FE person out there or hypothetical topic that can come up in the examination of our world. I just think it should be a point of examination - it is important.

Regarding every specific bit, like moon, tides, coriolis etc, I suggest trying to youtube it along with 'flat earth' and examining the various arguments for yourself.

We will all be saved.

Yes and Yes

> there are actual human beings that believe the earth is flat
> they think space is fake

I could understand some tribes in secluded areas of a rain forest thinking like that, but how the fuck is it possible for people in any other parts of the planet.
You literally only need some binoculars for basic space observation. A low to mid end telescope for very basic galaxy observation. Is there a fucking reptile sitting on the other end showing us slides of space objects when we do observations? What the fuck is wrong with flat earthers and space deniers.

Holy shit I just watched some blokes explanation on the moon and its cycles based on the flat earth theory. This is some top tier mental retardation.

If it makes you feel any better I was fucking around in this thread. Anonymously impersonating people you don't understand is a good way to figure out how they think. I have checked out a lot of FE stuff and while it's pretty interesting, let's just say I'm unconvinced.
