They have a big animation community. It's just that no major network will invest in animation so it's just a bunch of indie stuff or them trying to get work in the states.

There's a lot of movies. One I can think of right now is El Infierno about a regular dude who goes back to Mexico and ends up becoming a cartel thug, don't know if it's still on netflix but you should check it out

The only remarkable attempts of Mexican animations are Huevo cartoon, el chavo animado/el chapulin Colorado and maybe the mediocre movies of Las leyendas "nahuala/llorona, las momias de Guanajuato, etc"

I think there's a Mexican animator who does little monster girl quest parody animations. Those are funny. But I know that Spanish is not mutually exclusive with Mexico. His name is PonehAnon I think, last major thing I saw from him was the Monster Girl Gamu trailer.
