In factories and such where you don't need to deal with customers ditectly, fine. In retail and such where you need to deal with customers, they have to be hidden.

Don't kill yourself OP

Hi, I'm here for the interview

it should be up to the employer

what does the work industry produce? how much does one work cost?

If I was in charge of hiring for a customer service related job why would I hire someone with a lot of visible tattoos or piercings? If it was for a bar thats fine, but why would I hire anyone with stretchered out earlobes if I want to have a professional work environment?

Sure, why not? Who fucking cares, I'm not fucking the cashier at my grocery store or my mechanic, why would I care about their appearance?

How about we start by not forcing employees to shave their face every single fucking day?

>work industry
Hey, I work in the work industry!

>american education

normal earrings, nose studs, etc. are perfectly acceptable.

Gages and colored hair though...degenerate.

The majority of millennials have tattoos, excessive piercings, and colored hair.

They're the fucking majority and they act like they're being oppressed. Fucking shit heads.

Meant OR instead of AND.

>muslim rape baby education

>work industry

I don't think tattoos are the reason the creator of this image doesn't have a job.

tattoos are whatever as long as you hide them, gauges are the only type of "extreme" piercing thats acceptable

i don't care about their appearance personally. but these people are usually insufferable special snowflakes that take a mile when given an inch. not good for a work environment

>gauges are the only type of "extreme" piercing thats acceptable

no

You're hired.

yes

>majority of millennials have tattoos, excessive piercings, and colored hair
You're an idiot.

>work industry
As opposed to the welfare industry?

go back to sipping on lattes with your boyfriend

...

>tattoos
Potentially acceptable if they are in inconspicuous places and not visible while working.

>piercings
Absolutely not acceptable, at least not to wear to work.

>colored hair
No acceptable period, ever.

no

That sounds amazing desu.

You stupid Canadian shit.

>Forty percent of millennials have at least one tattoo, according to Pew Research

>About half (54%) have done one or more of the following: gotten a tattoo, dyed their hair an nontraditional color, or had a body piercing in a place other than their ear lobe

The workplace is a clean and conservative place which is not meant to support individualism. You're an employee and represent the company with your very being. You're not a special snowflake.

I am strongly against the casualization of the workplace

Unless you're a tradesman or in the service industry you should be required to wear a suit and tie to work

you're representing the company you are working for
they have the final say in how you present yourself

unless you're a woman
then you can scream MISOGYNY when they ask you to wear skits and heels

>abo british raped inbreed ex con shitposter education

Did you really just cite evidence that disproves your original point? "About half" have at some point done something coloration or mutilation related.

I'm not saying inked and steeled up retards aren't retards, but you cited "Evidence" that literally treads on disagreeing with you.

"Most" milennials aren't tatooed up retards. A large number are... but 'most' is a stretch at best.

it doesnt effect you so dont descriminate

Sorry I'd love to argue with you but I'm off the my job at the work factory.

Tattoos that are likely not visible when clothes

>piercing other than ear lobe
You do realize the VAST majority of this is girls who get their navel pierced right?

Tattos are fine
but when you have piercings like this guy and fuckin tattos on your face its clearly a mental isue and i dont think you can work well others or in the social business enviroment
And you should probably just off yourself

>the work industry

kek

yes

I'm all for it.

I can understand wanting a specific decorum for the workplace, but it's possible to dress/present yourself well while wearing body mods.

Any controversy surrounding this opinion is the product of grandmas.

I'm in the trades, and every third guy has a tattoo, so it's not particularly jarring or out of place. Plus we don't deal with the public, so there is no PR issue.

I don't really give a shit about whether the guy I'm dealing with is tatted up, but the correct business decision is to do whatever will attract the most consumers. In the service industry, the winning ticket seems to be clean, well-dressed, and professional-looking employees. The market always rewards those in demand and fails those who aren't, so it's a self-solving issue.

>"none of us like wearing heels, so we'll threaten legal action unless they make them optional"
>"sounds good"
>a week later, one woman voluntarily wears heels
>she gets attention from guy coworkers
>the next day, 2 more women wear heels to work
>repeat until all the women wear heels again
>wait 6 weeks
>repeat step 1

Dont worry m8, I´d like to talk to you too but I´m on holidays in Ibiza having fiesta.

Watch out for snakes.

>Most
>About Half
>54%

>There are 54 jews in this room of 100 people.
>Most people here are jews.

I dont know. I would just imagnie that if over 50% of people had one of those 3 at some point in time, then they would be in the majority, and wouldnt need to sound off as being oppressed.

To me its like fat acceptance, and the majority of people are fat.

I just dont get it.

>brown hair
>brown eyes

Go be a shitskin somewhere else.

>Any controversy surrounding this opinion is the product of grandmas.
Wew lad.
It's unattractive to the majority and unprofessional to the majority. In business the customer matters more than your desire to be a snowflake. At the very least its not hygienic.

of course it effects me
If you have tattoos on your face youre edgelord psychopath faggot and everyone around you fears for their life

>navel piercing
>not degenerate
Wew

I have the freedom to get a tattoo, and you have the freedom to be offended if you want.

just like if I call you a nigger, that's freedom of speech even if your offended

Its not a freedom isue u fuckin retard
Its about having some decency and not being degenerate fagot.
You also have freedom to suck a dick and walk half naked on the street
Employee has a freedom to tell you to go fuck yourself and your egdy tattos

>AYO HOL UP MUHFUGGIN BIX NOOD
whatever you say, nigger.

God bless for confirming my theory about all of you being mentally ill faggot

>tattoos
sure, just not on the face
>piercings
sure, just no weird ones
>coloured hair
as long as you aren't an sjw and look normal otherwise

>sure, just not on the face
And also none of that ganster shit all up and down your arms and legs

Also no visible tramp stamps

but its still my freedom, that's what you socialists in europe just dont seem to understand

Low quality bait
I know you regret getting that shitty tattoo

4 (You) 's and thats filled my quota for today, thanks bro

I'm a sports fan so I like some athletes with tattoos

J.R. Smith for instance is basically a fucking hilarious negro in athletic form and his tattoos are part of it

here's one on the house

hitler is shitskin

>Work industry
As opposed to being unemployed or in prison?

Otherwise they're a-okay depending a bit on customer contact. I wouldn't want to have an employee with facial hair and shitty facial piercings working with high end older clients.

Who here works at the work factory? Tomorrow I have to work hard to fill my quota of 51 works manufactured.

You have every right to mark and alter your body in any fashion you deem fit.

An employer has every right to discriminate between possible hires based on prior choices, including your permanent choices regarding appearance.

Seems like this is a self correcting problem. What's the issue here? Are we really arguing to take away an employer's right to hire who they want?

Anything that is irreversible that you do to your body imo is pretty shit (like gauges). Tattoos are fine just don't get them on your fucking face, or get a tattoo that is controversial in a attention seeking spot.

Also anything besides your natural hair color isn't ideal imo Most peoples' natural hair color actually compliments them pretty well.

>Work industry

Shows the state of these fuckwits

Is dyed hair okay?

see

>the work industry

Everytime

>work industry

every time

If you don't care about workplace rules and etiquette, you won't care about your job.

>in the work industry
Spotted the guy with ear gauges.

>the work industry

>only these very specific qualifications that I definitely didn't set up as to somehow still have myself included

okay son.

i wanna get a sleeve, will this hurt my chances of being hired?

About half the population is functionally illiterate, too. Tattoos are a sign of stupidity, very generally speaking .

it doesnt effect my ability to do my job correctly

not even once

I mean you should always try to not look like a tool. If you have a tattoo like the person in the picture you're gonna get judged harshly. And if that judgement is negative it can reflect the company. Hince why most people ban visible tattoos and or gauges.

Degenerate. Would not hire. Fuck off.

If by work industry they mean work camps like gulags then I agree completely

no I dont look like a tool but its just how I express myself, that shouldnt cost me my job

The last thing customers want to see while purchasing their weekly groceries is some inked up trogoldyte with more piercings than brain cells serve them

yeah but I have a winning smile so it evens out

Gages are fucking nasty.

Messing with your hair is fun, and reversible. Tattoos are really only for sailors, criminals, and soldiers. Defiling your flesh as a fashion statement is shallow and stupid.

Women with tattoos are degenerate sluts.

I'm ok with them as long as they're subtle. OP pic is not.

>tattoos
>piercings
>unnatural colored hair
All degenerate filth. You may as well wear a garbage bag over your head to work because that's what you are, trash.

Asking your boss if you can have a tattoo visible at work is like asking if he wants a piece of human garbage working for him.

...

If you honestly think there's nothing more to a receptionist job than the ability to converse, you probably deserve the life of a ditch digger you're destined for. It's the first person people see when coming into the building, no one wants to see offensive bodily mutilation

I can't take anyone who feels the need to draw on themselves or poke holes in their face seriously.

Emu.

>no one wants to see offensive bodily mutilation

...

As someone with tattoos, I find it extremely annoying when people complain about being "discriminated against" for having tattoos that cannot be covered or piercings. Yes, an employer has every right not to hire you based upon appearance, I can't imagine a successful law firm hiring an attorney with 00 gauges, blue hair, and full sleeves, why, because that does not communicate the look about their practice they want to send. The problem is my generation is dumb as fuck when it comes to making long-term decisions, hence why they complain about the most infantile shit.

>shill detected

Yes, no one wants to.

>Tattoo

A few tattoos are acceptable, if they're sensible, like, say, a tattoo of your bloodgroup in your armpit.

The rest are degenerate, just dirtying the pure human skin.

>>piercings

Same thing.

>>Coloured hair

Coloured hair is perfectly acceptable, as long as it's in a natural color and not some fucking neon hipster shit.

If you do any or all of these, you have made your choice. And your choice was to become a life-long minimum wage slave.
No sympathy.

Agreed
