What demographic is this shit aimed at?

What demographic is this shit aimed at?

My guess, just going off the picture, would be young children ages 4-12.

Is that Hippolyta?

... I never really though of Polly as cute, but goddamn, she's kinda cute here.

Model train enthusiasts mostly.

I have 6 and 7 year old nieces and they love it. They mostly like Batgirl and Supergirl, and have many toys from the show.

I think it's been said by the creators that it's for 6-12 year olds. But it's an alright show. The movies and books are better than the web show.

Little girls, I am sure.

I like babs hoodie outfit

Yeah, it's nice.

Honestly I think the designs all across the board are actually pretty good, aside from WW's design, which I think is ass.

Girls do not like superheroes

My little sister aged 6-12 does.

the that shit is p cute ngl

Neither does Sup Forums yet here we are.

My guess, just going off the picture, would be boys age 21-45 roughly

Its aimed at the WB executives who canceled Young Justice because "girls don't buy superhero toys", despite not having any data to back that up. So they "girled" it up to appeal to what they think girls want.

Girls 6-12, it's in the original press release

35-year-old dogs

Would you believe feminits?

Yes they fucking do.

Dont seem to see many female fans of aquman though (probably why they chose the costume they did for the film)

Wasent it the advertisers complaining that the shows viewers were so evenly split in gender that they were paying for an audience twice the size of what they were hitting. (I feel like the solution there is to advertise products that both genders will buy though)

Man, that parody looks like shit. I'll never understand why people were dickriding that porno director so much.

It's good.

Yes. It's got a cool cast.

The movie came out a while back and its an amethyst Princess of Gemworld themed.

But Mattel made it, and it's doing super fucking well.

But they like this.

The creators have a very impressive knowledge of the DCU. Lots of more obscure characters, especially in the background, and references.

I mean, the show just doesn't appeal to me, but I'm glad it exists and the people it does appeal to get all this great DC stuff.

Stop bringing your stupid "if it's not made specifically for me then it's shit" mentality from Sup Forums.

Then explain cosplayers. Even if it's only on a superficial level, girls can and do like superheroes.

Designs = cute
Execution = disappointing

Yeah it's really enjoyable as a DC crossover series. I hope we get more movies, though.

>It's not made specifically for me

The funny thing is that this line actually DOES specifically cater to both genders, or at least makes allowances for them both. Stores are supposed to stock the toys on endcaps or islands away from the pink aisle so boys will buy them, and they even make both a 6'' action figure and 12'' fashion doll for every character.

Ah, so this is what that Harley doll is from. I have a friend who went nuts over it.

Too bad Batgirl didn't seem to transfer to doll as well.

>Execution = nigga did you seriously expect better?
This isn't Life in the Dream House

The lesbians of tomorrow.

Oh thats cool then.

That was cute

It's also cool that they have roleplay toys for girls that are straight up weapons

I'm not even talking about girl and boy things, just that it's for kids under 12.

It's like how people here have meltdowns over Teen Titans GO while the people it's actually being made for love it and find it hilarious.

The designs ecist, so maybe someone can do something better at least. Someday.

Those images were before the armored WW of BvS was seen. Compared to the plastic tights version there, the porno costume looks pretty good.

There's lots of cute hugging in this show.

...

Yet they don't make it a pink sparkly thing or bullshit like that, it's just "Yeah, it's a fucking gun".

In the movie she has the dawn of justice wondy skirt on for a classic look when she goes back to themescuria(sp?)

There's no gun I've seen, but there is a shield that shoots missiles and a standard looking Batgirl utility belt.

But like you said there's no sparkles or anything.

I've taught kindergarten through fourth grade. Little girls do like superheroes. They might not like the same ones you do. They may not give as much of a shit about power levels, but they like magical powers and costumes and flying and beating up the bad guys with a team of friends.

...

Please DC give me a waifu farm like Avengers Academy with these girls. I'll even pay shekels from time to time.

Willingly.

I bought Jessica Jones and Elektra in AA this week and I imagine this is the feeling someone who walks out of a casino with a fifth of what he walked in with feel.

I thought the belt was a gun, my mistake.

Who is that on the far right? Lady Shiva?

My goddaughter is a fiend for superheroes.

There's definitely a younger feel than AA but if cute is your thing then there's much to appreciate in DCSHGs.

Yup

Can I have her number? For research, of course.

tween girls that dont read comics

She is so cool

Several of those characters are villans.
It also makes no sense for a young harleen to be harley quinn.

Do you also have this hard of a time grasping the difference between Earth-2 and Earth-3

...

It had nothing to do with gender. The toys just didn't sell, period. It wouldn't have mattered the gender, but the sales were shit, so it quickly killed the show.

whose the asian and the black chick

Are you talking about the show in general? I'm not sure crazy about it, but the tv special and the movie were both good and way better than I expected either to be. The web series is pretty mediocre though but it has potential. If we ever get a full tv series and more movies, it could end up being something actually pretty damn good altogether.

Nah, just the character designs.

Katana and Bumblebee

How does that make sense then?

Because the art looks like shit.

Oh.

I actually disagree. The art style is fine.

My only real gripe(s) are some of the designs and the fact that Katana looks JUST like Mulan. It actually irks the hell out of me. Such unoriginality should not be allowed on such an official project.

does Zone still makes animations?

i think so

I don't think they should have put wondy in this keep the whole trinity as the older heros.

Suprised they went with hal after the movie floped (although i suppose the target audience does not know about that)

Considering how Wonder Woman comes out next year, the first female led super hero movie in recent years, that is a terible idea.

He's full SJW now so if he does make any they will probably be of consensual sex between ugly trannies.

>No Batman
>No Nightwing
>No even Robin
Why would anyone watch this?

Muh girl power..

But they would if it had an all girl cast

I think it has hal but hes an idiot so im not sure that counts.

little girls.....but you know what happened to My Little Pony..............

if sure there are alot of adult fans of the show

>not knowing Hal is smart in this

Animation, color, character design, this is aimed at young girls between the ages of 4-12.

Not adults.

But, Sup Forums will discuss it/watch it because it's full of underage and autistic adults.

Little girls don't give a shit about the mythology of superheroes.

>So they "girled" it up to appeal to what they think girls want.
IIRC they actually did a lot of testing with little girls, that's why the costumes aren't all pink and why most of the villain characters start off or become friends

The SDCC exclusive Katana doll came with a shitload of weapon accessories, that thing was great

Young Justice execs pls leave

It's got a few boys in it. Hal, Barry and Beast Boy show up the most often

Folks who want to pound innocent teenagers in a sexually aggressive fashion.

I know three who do.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say girls.

really? people are THAT desperate for attention?

yeah, but even some femanons are pissed how cartoons portray women in general.

The wonder of it all...

>people still fail to grasp alternate universes
>"b-but think of the children! what if they read a main DCU Harley comic!"
keep grasping at those straws friend

They're a minority. Cute is what most girls want.

asian hair streak

For what purpose.

I dont care about children reading her main line comics however it may be an elseworlds but its not really marketed as being about majorly difrent characterisations so it does feel a little off.
Probably not worth getting angry about it though its not pa kent maybe levels of retarded at least.

From the cosplay I've seen I would say at least some of them do.
