Skybourne #1 Storytime

From /ourguy/ Frank Cho, doing pencils, inks, and scripting.

Didn't see it storytimed, so I figured I'd do it.

This was really, really mediocre. Lovely art though, even if the chick was really generic looking for Cho standards.

This and the previous two pages definitely remind me of Kaido's introduction in One Piece, although I'm certain it's existed a trope for much longer.

I thought it had some nice action, though. It's light on story, but it's nonetheless pretty intriguing.

WHOO!

One Piece is shit. Thanks for storytiming.

Can any fa/tg/uys identify this dude's class?

Merlin

what a waste of a nice titty

This LOOKS awesome, but Cho's writing is mediocre at best. Is it actually worth reading?

Nah.

Thanks, OP.

Well, this wasn't great. But it was better than I expected for being written by Cho.

There has got to be a better way to kill these guys with her bare hands than punching all the way through their bodies. It is messy, if nothing else.

Agreed. I was pleasantly surprised by the humor landing so well. But he was definitely right when he called it his "most cinematic work." It feels like one of the countless movie pitch comics Millar does, but I like the premise enough to stick with it.
Pic related, the cover that convinced me to check it out.

bump

Flew completely under my radar.

NNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!! Not the booby!

Druid?

These type of page layouts always look off to me.

And there’s a shortage of perfect breasts in this world.

bumping for others.

bumping to read.

Obviously went to the Invincible school of super strength fighting.

Judging by her personality I'm going to say she just does it that way because it's cooler.

That was neat, but everybody kind of seems like an asshole in this.

Just like real life.

That's every comic out there right now.

Bump. I dig it
