Was Steven having a stroke there?

Was this the most powerful scene in animation?

yes

Is this the most powerful scene in animation history?

>there was money and time invested in this shit

western animation, not even once.

nah, it's just the famous melting face syndrome. It happens in most kino animation shows.

Yes. Yes it is.

Definitely. But I can't help wondering, where do we go from here?

Is this the most powerful scene in animation history?

from the same storyboard artist

It just keeps going

Don't say that like Eastern hasn't done weirder.

I've seen Belladonna of Sadness.

Blame the jews

Is what this is

Wow, thanks Jews.

Shoujo Tsubaki was produced by one single person with virtually no budget over four years.

>People paid to see this in theaters

As if Steven can even Fathom going

YOND!

>That entire scene
Now I see why people make fun of this cartoon.

>Now I see why people have fun with this cartoon.
Fix'd for you. I wasn't heavily into it myself, but kids going around the lawn pretending they're doing Kaiou-Ken and doing Spirit Bombs was just precious. This >cartoon was fun, captured the imagination of kids and young teens alike and didn't have any baggage with it.

It's not like people can't make fun of it while still liking it, and many do.
Personally I used to be a soccer mom about this stuff, until Street Fighter showed me THE WAY.

>cartoon
I try not to say "anime" when possible 'cause I still believe in an age where we won't need the distinction anymore.

In DBZ's defense, the whole purpose of Goku going in there was to buy time iirc

...

why is he aryan though.

Did you anons have the same flare as him?

I don't watch SU. Is was this made on purpose for the sake of comedy or did someone actually fuck up this badly?

Comedy purposes
And completely wrong
Together Breakfast wasn't boarded by Paul and Raven

>there was money and time invested in this shit
Not really.
businessinsider.com/sausage-party-animators-allegedly-worked-for-free-2016-8
INB4 DUDE SLAVERY LMAO

...

Shite car.
You black?

Technically I was paid to see this.

Some people had split orders and some people didn't, so everyone got the weekends off for the thing we were doing, so minus the 7.50 I paid for a ticket I made money watching this.

It wasn't that bad.

...

>comedy purposes
>SU dyke on that defense
Stay mad, /sug/

that's not why it's that long and you know it

They literally answered a question about whether it was for comedy or not.

HEY
WAIT
I GOT A NEW COMPLAINT
FOREVER IN DEBT TO YOUR PRICELESS ADVICE

Weak b8 desu

>tfw Japanes Goku is a granny

>a show that rips off anime constantly
>producing a good scene

Impossible, desu senpai

>Somebody actually thought this was funny
>Somebody paid money to make this, critics actually liked it
>Jews get away with it yet again

Just nuke us already... Somebody!

Powerful enough to make someone vomit.

Those animators who didn't get credit deserved it for animating this.

No, they made the excuse for the poor art. Though, as a SU dyke, you both:
A. Don't know good art
B. Make up lies and believe them as truth when it comes to said shitty art

Oh wait you're serious.

Weren't they buying time for the kids to train in the chamber or whatever?

This kind of reminds me of those FG jokes that get dragged on for an insufferable amount of time.
>That pause after
I bet they expected the theater to be roaring with laughter.

So, what the fuck is this?

Well you can't see it because the cam is so shit but there are birds flying away in that shot
It's when they're all at their climax

Your show is worse than Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, American Dad, and new Simpsons combined. Your show is literally worse than Hitler and has actually killed someone unlike God President Trump

Comedy purposes. With Steven and the dessert-looking thingy, he told a shit pun, waited for the reaction with a "get it" face, we got a look of the completely deadpan other person not giving any reaction whatsoever, and cut back to Steven whose face has melted into this.

The other group shot, , is Steven imagining all his friends feeling sad when he's dead, so again it's supposed to look wonky so that every kid will get that it's not really happening but is Steven imagining things.

This is the group scene youtube.com/watch?v=sWBjFFzNLDc

and this is the scene with steven alone with the retard melty face
youtube.com/watch?v=_3mwOLkeuzg

Humanity was a mistake.

Jesus are you actually for real? I've seen someone complaining about the same shots in different threads, too.

You actually can't tell it's intentional? Do you have autism or such?

>worse than Family Guy

Let's not say things we don't mean. Holy shit.
What's with the spoiler, anyway?

This made me die of laughter.

Not because of the content so much as imagining the reaction of normies upon viewing this in theatres. My sides fail me thinking of it.

Trips confirms Steven Universe ruins family morals. Praise be.

Holy shit, how many chaos emeralds do you need for that?
youtube.com/watch?v=V4jH0WeV67I

this scene is perfect in every way

No, it is this.

youtube.com/watch?v=pOWHdoqnf3w

This is the most powerful scene in animation

Your choice of post was EGGCELLENT

Why is animation so choppy? I mean, yeah, it's Japan, but still, the show is all in CG, they have no excuse.

Also, mfw still no rape horse doujins after all these years

Together Breakfast was boarded by Ian and Paul
plus Steven Floats was boarded by Paul solo

First thought

I vote this

WHERE ARE THE NIPS

knowing all the anime references this show has it's probably intentional

Yeah actually, upon staring at both images for a couple of minutes and thinking about not only all the ripping off of anime in the show, but also just the way that the person went about drawing the face, I'm pretty sure this was intentional.

The mouth angles similarly, the left eye is lower than the right eye, the eyebrows are in the same position.

fucking Japs.
What the hell

How did those bastards manage to ruin rape horse, I just don't understand

>ripping off of anime
it's called a tribute dummy

>be shitty, hack animator and director
>propose show
>in proposition, all designs presented are presented without noting what they reference or where they come from
>get greenlit
>run show
>take entire sequences of animation and certain animation style characteristics from various other animators
>never mention where you got these ideas in the episodes or on your own
>finally get called out by fans, who there are more of and who have seen a lot of animation themselves
>"It was a tribute"

lousy bait.

Lousy post, lad.

If most of the sequences and things stolen from Eastern animation weren't played completely straight and were actually cited in the episode, it would be a tribute.

Or if they, you know, did it a bit more tastefully and just named things as tribute rather than actually stealing design ideas.

All art is derivative, but some art is more derivative than others, and some handle it more tastefully than others.

No, this is.

It's not even a reference you nipple cucks: Paul Villeco just enjoys drawing funny faces

Just doing his best Hillary impression.

>stolen
You're a persistent troll or genuinely retarded.
Either way I'm done replying.
Ciao.

why not both?

I don't actually agree, I'm pretty sure the cue was taken from EoE, it's too similar and Eva gets referenced too often.

>ur just trollin
I guess you tried, lad :^)

DM;HS

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

There's literally nothing in context prompting it to be an eva reference (unlike the show's two actual eva references)

pretty hot, dog

That's why it's worse, and I gave a bit above on why I believe it's a reference, you can read that if you wish.

I can also rely on precedence here: striking similarities, in a series which has referenced Eva, in a series which references anime, in a series which pulls out anime references in places where the context would not suggest it. I feel the pattern fits the bill.

The art would actually be perfectly fine if both eyes were shaped the same, just using one or the other. It's just the mixture that's just a mess.

Some drawfag should fix one of the eyes and post for comparison

holy shit that immense decline in quality

I've never watched this show before, but that first scene seemed really great. It was animated well, and the story shit seemed pretty interesting.

But from the art change and flash-like animation alone, I already know I will avoid whatever late season that's from.

Is that something Sup Forums had a field day with? I can really imagine it.

>We interrupt this program to bring you...
>COURAGE the COWARDLY DOG show!

>waited years for this scene to be animated
>its shit

Also what happened to her nipples?

I think it's a 3D animation with some lines drawn on top and low framerate.

>People unironically like gundam

I believe you're confused user. The the latter video is very early on in the show and the former rather late.

Yet you still replied to him anyway

Rape horse is a-ok, nipples will ruin childhoods.

That makes sense then. In that case, props to the artists for the improvement. Out of context, the story in the first video sounded like it was near the beginning of the story because he was just now learning how his powers work.

Yeah, earlier in the show style was way more varied and it was so much more apparent who boarded which episode. And characters looked way more weird, lanky and ugly. But now there is a lot more consistency.

>That's why it's worse
stop bashing the show for doing something it's not
all of it's references have stuff in context prompting it

sides

this is passingly sexy enough for me to pop a boner to it
weird animation though.

No, not getting credit for this atrocity was the reward they got for working for free.
