Okay, sorry, I'll dial my hyperbole a back a bit, though to be honest that bit just kind of killed it for me. I know the episode serves really well as world building, and Garnet's voice over serves well thematically since she's actually telling the story.
I really like fusion, and the allegory just kind of killed it for me. I just felt like the characters slowly turning to the viewer and going "It's an ALLEGORY"
