I also remember watching this one show about a guy who had a snarky talking dog, he always tried proving to the rest of the world that his dog could talk and each attempt failed and lead to him suffering some misfortune from it, I can't remember what it was called for the life of me.

I literally know ZERO of those cartoons, now I'm kinda interested.

Is that motherfucking Cybersix? I thought I was the only one who remembered it.

You are not older than 21

Could be gen z or late millenial

And now I realized there were a bunch of other shows I completely forgot about that I loved

>Tom & Jerry
>Static Shock
>Megaman
>Sonic X
>Winx Club
>Totally Spies
>Kappa Mikey (can't believe I left this one out it was a top 10-tier show for me back in the day)
>Shaman King
>TMNT

I'm probably forgetting a lot but if I am then they aired on networks I can't be bothered to remember right now, it's depressing looking back and realizing that I had such an extreme love for these shows despite the many glaring flaws that I see in them now that I'm older. I can still enjoy something like Billy & Mandy and Bo-bo-bo but the passion is lost from back in the day. I used to enjoy waking up early on Saturdays so I could catch the Saturday morning cartoon block of lots of my favorite shows, I used to hang around the TV all the time eager to watch even re-runs regardless of if I've seen it 100 times already. Now waking up has become a burden while falling asleep a chore. The unbridled sense of eagerness and adoration for the cartoons of the time when I was younger is gone, I no longer get lost in excitement like I used to. I still have interests and loves but no matter how much I love something now, looking back at what I used to enjoy as a kid made me realize it doesn't approach that level of sheer enthusiasm. I can marathon any show I want to at any time thanks to the internet, yet despite being infinitely superior to being glued to the TV waiting for a show I liked to come on whenever while hoping another one isn't airing on a different channel, I can't find the same level of joy I used to muster up when a show I loved had a re-run air of an episode I never even knew about. I miss turning on the TV and finding a new show to hook me even if I came in on the 30th episode, my modern day viewing enhancing experience means feel hollows compared to the flawed system I had back in the day.
