Why, I do believe it's time for some early Silver Age!

Why, I do believe it's time for some early Silver Age!

But enough about me, how was your day?

Got some Al Williamson again, but there'll be cover stories as well.

Western comics need to make a comeback.

I agree, but they need to have more variety in tone. I appreciate that All-Star Western v3 was amazing, but not every cowboy comic needs to ape Delivered.

I might have written up a pitch for a Cisco Kid miniseries, based off the corny Duncan Renaldo TV show. Purely as a writing exercise, of course...

I honestly can't tell which of the stories listed is the cover story, so I'll post all three just to be on the safe side.

Sorry, real life intervened.

That's enough of the Silver Age for today...

... Philip Baker Hall was 85 last Saturday...

... Dennis Burkley would've been 71...

... Amy Irving was 63...

... Chris Columbus, who wrote the screenplay for Little Nemo in Slumberland, was 58...

... Michael Earl, who played Mr Snuffleupagus on Sesame Street in the late 70's, would've been 57...

... Jim Meskimen was 57...

... Alison Bechdel was 56...

... as was Colin Firth...

... Cliff Robertson died 5 years ago that day...

... Lance LeGault died 4 years ago...

... and Richard Kiel died two years ago.

Had no idea that guy was dead.

Lola Falana was 74 on Sunday...

... Elizabeth Daily was 55...

... as was Virginia Madsen...

... Kristy McNichol was 54...

... Max Fleischer died 44 years ago that day...

... Lorne Greene died 29 years ago...

... I shouldn't have to remind you what happened 15 years ago that day...

... Kim Hunter died 14 years ago...

... John Ritter died 13 years ago...

... and Harold Gould died six years ago.

Well, I'm done for today. I'll be back tomorrow.

Thanks, OP.

It's alright, but kinda sweaty. I went to the doctor today.
