A villain protagonist that has the common villainous flaws and runs into the same troubles that most do but isn't a total joke.
Maybe get some character development of the 'get's more dangerous or more evil' kind.
I'd fully support this, I just really want them to be good at being bad at the end of the day. These shorts don't suggest they'll be breaking the trend.
I think Mojo Jojo is a good example of what I'd enjoy seeing. He's a funny character, but he's not a failure.
