>Meet Black Hat, evil incarnated and his three shackles: The brillaint yet dumb Dr. Flug; Demencia, Black Hat’s (craziest) number one fan and 5.0.5. the wild & ferocious beast who will attack you with hugs n’ snuggles (Markiplier voices him )
What does /co think and do you think it has potential?
>I shall present to all of you VILLAINOUS! Cartoon Network’s first mexican IP!! Just revealed these four characters yesterday at Pixelatl festival here in Mexico at A.I. Animation Studios!
>This show is 100% animated here in Mexico and I hope all of you like our show! Stay tunned for more malevolous stuff and download Cartoon Network Anything, it’s going to air there (as long as Youtube and eventually on television).
Hm.
Robert Phillips
>Hecho en mexico
Joseph Bailey
>100% animated here in Mexico The expectations of the entire hemisphere dropped to the floor.
Andrew Martinez
I gave this a looking-up, and according to one of the creators, the "episodes" are going to be 15 seconds long with minute long episodes coming out later
Tyler Flores
>actually looks good >no cal-arts >villain show Oh shit, this might be pretty good
Tyler Johnson
Bkack Hat looks like he could have a cult following of weird fangirls like the Onceler had
Leo Martin
Jesus Christ, Miguzi's bumpers were longer.
Landon Gonzalez
He looks familiar...
Ethan Williams
Some faggot Jewtuber who all the grade school children watch.
Nathaniel Baker
Wait
Is that a show with an actual artstyle!?
Angel Phillips
This immediately snuffed out my interest.
I'd give anything for a villain protagonist cartoon where the main character is actually a competent and capable villain and his being a screaming, inept egoist isn't the main source of the show's comedy.
Joseph Brooks
One of a few dudes who made it to the multimillion being a cool dude.
Him and Jack are solid nice fellas.
Ethan Nelson
Oh boy is it 2005 in here? I know you guys really want off Mr. CalArts' Wild Ride, but this looks like it fell off a Hot Topic delivery truck.
Alexander Howard
So Tuber interest length.
Jace Roberts
I want to defend the protagonist but I can't argue with you based on the stripe-sleeved, dyed-haired sidekick and the "cute thing portrayed as terrifying" pet.
Parker Stewart
The girl looks hot, and the designs are awsome. Though, the fact a lets player voices one of the characters is cancer incarnate
Leo Hill
Who wants to be the first to 34 the girl? Her bush is probably pink and green two-tone also
Camden Gutierrez
>100% animated in Mexico >Markiplier (who's a cool LP guy, I guess) voicing the bear >It actually looks cool.
Ok, I will hold off any statement, but so far, I'm up for it.
Ayden Jenkins
>Show premieres >Black Hat the most popular character >The most popular choice to pair BH is either Dr.Flug because le SWEET YAOIZ or fancharacters created from 15 year old girls >Edgy aus like personality swaps which people will take too seriously >BH and DF have loads of fanart while the other two have only 50 pieces individually found on google >More than half of the fanart of Demencia will be badly drawn porn
Can't wait for 2008 to come again
Sebastian Garcia
...
Thomas Lopez
I don't think you or anybody else in the thread read the spoilered post that reveals the episodes are going to be 15 seconds long.
Jackson Foster
Got any ideas to help inspire us?
Aaron Ortiz
What the fuck? Do they not have enough money where they are animating? then again its fully animated in mexico, and they probably used all of their budget on markiplier ;_;
Elijah Lewis
And now I've lost interest damn it.
Cameron Miller
Tipping Black Hat's hat in the nude is a good start.
Alexander Kelly
I'd rather see something in between those. A villain protagonist that has the common villainous flaws and runs into the same troubles that most do but isn't a total joke. Maybe get some character development of the 'get's more dangerous or more evil' kind.
Isaiah Ramirez
I'd fully support this, I just really want them to be good at being bad at the end of the day. These shorts don't suggest they'll be breaking the trend.
I think Mojo Jojo is a good example of what I'd enjoy seeing. He's a funny character, but he's not a failure.
William Stewart
How and why is this on CN and not youtube?
Is it CN mexico only or something?
Austin Martinez
oh you MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!!!!
Owen Moore
What, you didn't think they could afford even 11-minute cartoons in Mexico, did you? You do realize it's a war-torn hellhole completely controlled by cartels, right?
Aiden Moore
Please let this show be similar and cynical like Billy and Mandy. Also please be 11 minutes long. This show has a different artstyle then what we got now and I Want to have fun watching cartoons again.
Logan Lopez
It's literally 15 seconds per episode, with one-minute episodes as a far-flung future possibility.
Guys, read the thread.
Hunter Lee
The brother of that one furry webcomic artist.
Michael Cruz
Watch that bear also do the transformation thing
Luke Miller
...
Nicholas Edwards
You take a neat premise, but then fuck it up with shit like that.
Mexicans really are just failed whites.
David Flores
Why even do anything with it at that point? Commercials are longer than that shit
Wyatt Rodriguez
Who and WHO???
Jeremiah Brooks
Same user here, just thought it would help if I posted the screencap that I learned this from. I know guys, it hurts me too...
Austin Thompson
wow I'm fucking retarded
Noah Mitchell
>15 seconds >expecting Mexicans to have attention spans over 20 seconds
Kayden Moore
Dobson, it that you?
Bentley Hernandez
I tell my grandchildren cartoons used to last as long as 22 minutes an episode. Their laughter is echoed by the scary helicopter noises from The Flash that their bodies make as they vibrate at lightspeed, consuming 412 complete pieces of media per second.
Benjamin Brown
What sort of bullshit is this?
She's nude, has her hands behind her head, the villain's hat is standing in her crotch on it's own, implications, optional: villain is looking at it with a mix of anger, disgust, disbelief and curiosity.
Nicholas Morgan
>Mexico >CN HQ >"Sir, the new research on modern children is in, according to this they have an attention span of 15 seconds and watch skits and lets-plays on Youtube in their free time." >"I see, we'll make a cartoon with 15 second episodes and hire one of those Youtubers, those attention whores should work for pesos at the prospect of real, non-internet fame." >"Your a genius, sir!"
Ethan Gutierrez
>Interesting character designs and art style. >Villain protagonists. >Very promising character dynamics.
Looks fun, I can't wait to see-
>15 second episodes
OH COME ON! That's practically no time at all!
Any chance if the shorts get popular enough it could warrant an actual series?
Adam Perry
If it makes you feel less robbed, there's pretty much no chance it isn't just going to be a microcosmic clone of League of Super Evil from south of the border.
Jace Taylor
I have someone on my Love Live School Idol Festival friend list with that name, so it must be pretty common.
Carson Wood
Hey Grandpa, I know you've been living under a rock for over 20 years and all... Pretty much most people use this cool search engine called Google. You should try it out sometimes.
Landon Sanders
>100% animated here in Mexico
NO
Levi Flores
to be fair, there isn't even enough mexican cartoons to come to a conclusion. it might be good.
Ryan Barnes
So, it's going the Magiswords and OK K.O.! route. Which means, given enough interest, it could become a series
Charles Barnes
Huh, the designs and art style look good and it's been a while since we got a good villain focused show. Seems like it could be like the League of Super Evil if it didn't suck
>15 seconds hecho en mexico For fuck's sake
Liam Davis
So it's Evil Can Carne
Eli Russell
Hey, the Two More Eggs shorts on Disney are a minute long, and those are pretty decent. If there is enough popularity, it could warrant a full series of full-length episodes. Hell, Jimmy Neutron started out as a bunch of shorts before it became a series.
