We are not alone in the universe because it's so big

>we are not alone in the universe because it's so big

well it is, its infinitely large and there is no end.

This earth was created because of the perfect spacing between the sun, we are not to cold, we are not to hot.

Mars had life once, even water, millions of years ago when the sun was far smaller, but it was still not perfect enough in terms of life to have any life further than a microscopic organism.

In context, we as a habitat of life are rare, but there are planets that perhaps share the same perfect cilimate and distance toward the sun, they do exist, because everything exists and has existed because of the sheer magnitude ot the universe.

>its infinitely large and there is no end

...

>There's probably billions of worlds with sentient beings shitposting on imageboards that we'll never contact because the distances are so vast

>mars had life once, even water

>gorillion stars in the universe, most of them having multiple planets
>earth is definitely the only one where life is possible

Well, if you take the theory of big bang as a given it should be infinitely large, since we can only observe a portion of it. How large is this portion noone knows since we're unable to study it at all.

nigga there is still ice on mars' poles

>man in the sky only created life on one planet

Distance in time, not just meters. If life exists somewhere it's most likely just in the precambrian state, remember that humans have been in space for like 70 years but the planet has had some kind of life for about 4 billion years.

We've already found bacteria, cells and microorganisms in space. Technically, they're aliens.

grug not think other cave real because grug never go there
grug really really think there no skygrugs because grug never been in sky

Life could be abundant but most of it could be dumb as rabbits. This planet had nothing resembling intelligent life until a million years ago.

>We are alone in the universe despite it being so big

>In the brief TASS report, Shkaplerov does not elaborate on how the Russian researchers arrived at their extraterrestrial conclusion. As CNET notes, it seems like Earthly contamination would be tough to rule out, given how hardy many microorganisms tend to be. Some bacteria, and tiny micro-animals known as tardigrades, have demonstrated the ability to survive for extended periods in the harsh conditions of space.

>And terrestrial organisms may have accidentally made their way to the ISS before, if a 2014 claim by Russian space officials is to be believed. Back then, space station official Vladimir Solovyov announced, also via TASS, that sea plankton and other microorganisms had been spotted in cosmonauts' spacewalk samples.

>Scientists estimate that there may be billions of Earth-size planets within the Milky Way galaxy alone
>There are at least 2 trillion galaxies in the observable universe
>If it is assumed that inflation began about 10^−37 seconds after the Big Bang, then with the plausible assumption that the size of the Universe before the inflation occurred was approximately equal to the speed of light times its age, that would suggest that at present the entire universe's size is at least 3x10^23 times the radius of the observable universe.

There most likely is life outside of this planet, although the chances of us ever encountering other intelligent lifeforms is practically zero.

>its infinitely large and there is no end
You don't know that.

>This planet had nothing resembling intelligent life until a million years ago.
There are galaxies, solar systems and planets much older than ours.
If we assume that life is possible outside Earth then assuming that Earth's life was the first one would be dumb.

>the universe is a lazily evaluated simulation

>finally find life
>they send a diagram of themselves
>unironically look like the amerimutt memes
What would you do Sup Forums?

>there is no end.
its shrinking though
there is a boundary
it exploded outwards
how can something which was created at a certain time and starting to cool down and shrink be infinite?

>>gorillion
oy vey

Hide my genes.

>its shrinking though
It's expanding.

lool up the fermi paradox

Not practically zero, but not much above it either.
The most likely interstellar visitors we would encounter would be unmanned(or unaliened) craft which travel at 0.01 to 0.1 C.
Such would be trivial to make and require no Sci-Fi tech. They could take 5000 years to arrive here and it wouldn't matter.

>Not practically zero, but not much above it either

... What?

Nice bait.
Dummösi bitte.

it will eventually shrink like my peepee after I make cummies

A small number but not zero. There's nothing unrealistic about non-Blink182 space travel. It's easy, not fun, and a bit pointless considering the data from it will not arrive until thousands of years later if ever but nevertheless easy. We could send this kind of probe in decades IMO, although I'm not sure about the speed.

mine's been growing since the dawn of time

>when you die you simply cease to exist and succumb to eternal darkness

>when you die you simply cease to exist
That's the concept of dying.

>we're alone in this universe so we should stop trying to leave earth and accept our fate

>muh consciousness

>Big words scare the Americano

actual retards itt

Encountering an unmanned craft is not encountering the actual lifeform that created it though. And even if we somehow manage to understand their message and find out where to send the reply, it would take another 5000 years for them to receive it. Interaction with intelligent lifeforms almost certainly won't happen in our lifetime.

>implying we should destroy other planets in the same way that we destroyed Earth
Humans are the niggers of the solar system.

this desu

End yourself

>Mars had life once
What is your proof?

We are alone in our galaxy which is all that matters anyway

The 20th century called they want their outdated theory back.

We have not destroyed earth yet.
Americans and Chinese are trying their hardest, but they haven't managed so far.

...

>Germany dindu nuffin
All humans are complicit in raping of Earth.

Pretty sure Germany is on the forefront for making our presence here sustainable.
Same can not be said about many other countries.
The opposite can be said about Murrica and China.

Hot.

>the universe as we know it is not all there is to reality
>we are alone in this infinite void
>there are extradimensional forces influencing our realm of existence

You are almost certainly an American abroad

We're alone because is says so in the bibble

could you point where exactly does it say this?

Gragorzwyzwyzecyzwe 4:20 "Thou shalt not believe in ayy lmao"
it's a rare polish interpretation of the old testament

>we are alone in this infinite void
yeah no

Solar System sucks
>boring hot planets like Mercury and Venus
>lifeless rock like Mars
>boring gas giants like Uranus, Neptune and Jupiter
Only Saturn looks cool enough but it's a gas giant so it's worthless

but old testatment are jewish fairytales, not canon

>muh judaeochristian Big Bang myth for humanists to circlejerk over
>le meaningless in this one, single universe xD
just as not provable as One God And His Bible

>The opposite can be said about Murrica and China.
deny that many products we use IRL are manufactured in chinese factories (by their workers's bodies IRL) al you want lel

>implying
if the aviation industry (tourism + airplanes) is a cause of enviro rape, then those nver flying do not contribute to that

... and the same with other factors that make up environmental destruction; such as japs dolphin slaughter or (((food industry))) overworking bee populations so that they die - but other humans NOT killing off dolphins or extracting honey in a way that does not fuck up the balance of bees in their ecosystem

>(tourism + airplanes) is a cause of enviro rape, then those nver flying do not contribute to that
*never

btw, look up Medieval Warm Period and ponder why we didn't die out back then given the temperature

>Interaction with intelligent lifeforms almost certainly won't happen in our lifetime.
yet people on the internet are morons for giving their possessions (money) away to Musk

>Elon Musk preaches "humanity deserting itself into spaaace" utopian future vision
>he himself also researches/funds digging SUB-terranean tunnels
>ie, escaping downward into this planet, with the gullible being left to die in some spacecraft vehicle
