>tfw his music is really good
He's also a raging junkie.
>rumors spread like wildfire
I remember rumors like a few years after he left the show. Is this really something that's suddenly exploding all over the place?
He's a pretty funny hipster guy
Good memories of this show. Uncle of mine worked on the production staff for the first couple of years, so gifts from him were always Blue's Clues related (the notebook, the ball, etc).
Apparently he even snagged a few interesting behind the scenes photos of Steve and the staff screwing around on set, at least based on the couple I saw a few years back.
i never had cable so i know him more for his music than anything else
>tfw I was young enough to have watched Blues Clues when I was a kid
>tfw I'm attending college now
Raging junkies make good music
Dumb frogposters
Helps that he worked with The Flaming Lips
>picture makes it clear he was neither going bald nor visibly aging out of the role
christ. has he even gone through puberty?
google steve burns
I was lucky enough to be held by Steve as an infant and take a pic. I had an aunt who worked at Viacom. I used to be obsessed with blue's clues as a kid
>watched Blue's Clues as a kid
>dropped out of college
>>picture makes it clear he was neither going bald nor visibly aging out of the role
Nah he went completely bald soon after leaving the show, but he aged REALLY well and doesn't look 42 at all.
yeah now he looks like a fucking hipster
He makes dreamgaze/noise pop with members from Flaming Lips, of course he's a fucking hipster.
I'd put it in his butt.
so what, that's a wig?
Was going to post this if no one else had yet. Definitely worth watching.
he narrated a satirical video of Sarah Palin around '08
No the photo in the OP was 20 years old, likely the first year of the show.
>that fucking story with the model
Steve did a few indie short films around the time he was on Blues Clues
This one in retrospect is so fucking funny tears were streaming down my face

>FUCK
he retired cause he's balding and dont want to show kids he's getting old
lmao
well that's mis-fucking-leading
He looks like he's in his early 20s, what the hell?
awww
my mom wrote mister rogers a letter about how he changed her miserable life growing up, after he retired, and he personally wrote her back before dying.
hearing someone say this guy from a kids' show that I recognize AS-a-kids-show-too-young-for-me held someone as a baby who is now posting on Sup Forums makes me feel the oldest i've ever, ever felt.
>42
God damn he looks good and really 42?
That pic can't be him after 30
I watched Lex murder Grodd earIer this evening.
Is that him now? Damn he aged well.
He probably sucks dicks for drug money.
Here's the weed
I feel so freed
It makes me want to eat that seed
When he comes
I want to moan
weed
Huh, thought he died or something.
He took that about 8 months ago according to instagram, so he'd have been 41 at the time. Besides his baldness he's aged like wine.
No see
Freaking vampires, man. I tell you.
He'd rather die hunting narwhals than to drugs
Are we going to find drugs? Gay porn? What exactly got him off the air
Shit's great
Mam he should have been birdman
He was going bald so he quit.
>eternally youthful at the expense of losing his hair in his early 20's
THE LAW OF EQUIVALENT EXCHANGE
>Tfw I was young enough too
>Tfw I'm not in college
That's from early on, he was on the show for years and only started losing hair towards the end (which was one of the reasons he left). They were able to touch it up for a short while longer (Hollywood magic can actually do alot so long as the actor still has at least something left up there) but in his last few episodes he wears a hat constantly.
its actually the other way around
he left the show BECAUSE he was going bald
he said in an interview that he didn't want to go bald in a childrens tv show so he left
Alot of people seem to (hairloss aside) keep their youthful looks well into their 40s these days.
Maybe because of not working as hard in harsh conditions as much or something?
They still air it and probably will until the next generation makes it to college.
I went as Steve for Halloween during my last year of undergrad (about two years ago). I was walking near a junior high in costume and one of the kids there recognized I was Steve.
Anyone remember those audio cassette tapes that were basically an entire episode? I had this one where they were trying to go to the beach, and I know it's a meme now but it's the best way to describe it: it was literally the comfiest thing I could remember as a little kid.
Thanks to that, I started to fall asleep to ocean wave recordings for a very long time, up to this day.
Wait how old are you?
Also mr. Rogers is cool. His show was comfy. Made me want a street light in my room for some reason
>quits children's television because he wanted to make a "mature" rock album
>album was never successful and he could never escape the stigma of being "Steven from Blue's Clues"
>hasn't done anything significant since
>went bald
Just goes to show that doing kids shows ruins you for life no matter who you are.
Is this a real story?
it really just depends on how you take care of yourself
it also goes both ways, I've seen some women go to absolute shit before even hitting their mid 20's
