tbqh senpaitachi I kinda gave up on Alpha Flight so don't expect any sort of commentary from me in these threads from now on.
Thanks senpai.

>I kinda gave up on Alpha Flight
Just like Marvel.
But hey I'm pretty sure Alpha Flight #55 is Jim Lee's first gig at Marvel, so that's something

Hey now, I still like the characters well enough (well, the original team, anyway), I just can't into Mantlo's writing. Same thing happened to me with ROM.

I know what you mean, I think Vindicator/Guardian's design is really sharp, both James and Jennifer. THe one Jen is curently rocking reminds me of Nexus

Good taste, user.

And only a few days after I got to Bendis's treatment of the team?

That's low, man. That is low. You know I would never do that intentionally!

Well unfortunately, Luke Cage is a main character in his New Avengers, which featured that scene. That's not even the worst of the character assassination he does. I can't wait for the rage when he gets to Tigra!
So, what'd you guys read today? Other than the storytime that is.
I've only read Doom Patrol (which was OK) and Black Science (which was fun)
I did hear that ANXM was exceptionally awful today, something about poop tornadoes and premature ejaculation?
>That's not even the worst of the character assassination he does
But it is among the most literal, heh.

Humphries continues to prove the theory that he was a Geoff Johns plant to ruin Marvel. Vendetti finally discovered wbat to do to make Green Lantern good (add a LOT of gay subtext between Sinestro and Hal), and Inhumans ended with the reveal that the villain was Maximus The Mad, because for some reason everybody didn't consider that the sinister plotter of most of modern Inhuman history wouldn't be behind THIS plot.
Thats like seeing clones in X-Men, and not guessing Sinister is involved.

I'm just saying, considering his massive crush on Luke Cage, he has a weird hatred for Danny Rand.
Did you know Danny wasn't at Luke's wedding, but Wolverine was?
That does sound pretty dumb.
>Humphries continues to prove the theory that he was a Geoff Johns plant to ruin Marvel
Can you imagine? He even was Bendis' right hand man for a little while.
Yeah, I vaguely remember reading Bendis' first NA run a long time ago.
I'm also reading your storytimes, although I'm a bit behind.
...
Likewise. Desu opening images in new windows slows things down more than you'd think.
...
So I've seen. It's one of the reasons I made these storytimes shorter, a lot of people were lagging behind.

That much an anti-fan of Mantlo?
Well, he is replaced eventually.
Not sure when. It's last couple years are as a Lobdell book IIRC- he at least wrote the Northstar Comes Out issue.
Just kinda skipped that first issue, seeing as how you ran it on accident the other day.
This annual is more novel.
My original plan was 3-4 issues a day, then I changed it to one arc a day, because that was usually it.
THEN I GOT TO BENDIS, WHO DOES FREAKING SIX-PARTERS! FOR EVERY STORY!
That is a poorly drawn Canadian flag.
Oh, it's massively more time consuming and it's hard to articulate why switching to a new tab seems to take so much longer.
Gotta write for that trade!
...
Maybe I'll jump back in by then.

House of Penance had it's last issue, I like how it balanced the main character being crazy or the house actually being haunted all the way to the end.
