What kind of law do you specialize in?
Do you think Hillary deserves indictment over emails proving she tampered with classified information on a non-secure server and took bribes from multiple countries for private conferences with her as SoS and as a senator?

What are you doing to help the white race?

(((Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz)))

Corrected this for you.

(((you)))

I practice Merger and antitrust law. I think Hillary does deserve indictment for email tampering, but the foreign donations don't violate any laws. They're unethical at most.

How saturated is the US legal market?

How much does the average lawfag makes in America?

How do you choose new employees?

How does one become a judge or a prosecutor in America?

t. Brazilian lawfag

Doing this AMA

Trust me I know. The amount of kike nepotism is ridiculous. I'm one of the few that broke through the goy ceiling

>I practice Merger and antitrust law.
Sounds fun, do you enjoy parts of your job?
Also how is the job market for lawyers in the US?

>How saturated is the US legal market?
More saturated than the arteries of most americans

>How do you choose new employees?
By which law schools they went to and by how many connections they have. Big Law in America is very ivory tower and nepotistic.

>How does one become a judge or a prosecutor in America?
It varies, but going to law school and being a lawyer are usually prerequisites

Why don't you own a gun?

>Sounds fun, do you enjoy parts of your job?
I hate it. It's shit. The only reason I do it is because I get paid a lot. The amount of corruption and laws being broken that I see on the daily are ridiculous.

>Also how is the job market for lawyers in the US?
Shit.

Who says I don't.

>I hate it. It's shit.
That sucks, do you ever consider getting into a different type of firm or that even possible considering your experience in a different subtype?
Also sad to hear the market sucks, Ive thought about going to law school and maybe work in the US but I guess Ill just try for diplomatic work instead since Canada needs all the help it can get since we're ran by literal communists now.

Iktf, bro. The Legal Market here is dominated by nepotism and cock sucking. That's why I want to get into a comfy state legal career.

Corruption inside the firm or practiced by your clients?

>That sucks, do you ever consider getting into a different type of firm or that even possible considering your experience in a different subtype?
Big law in general sucks. You're a (((corporate))) shill who defend the scum of the earth. It's unfulfilling. I plan on retiring early.

>Also sad to hear the market sucks, Ive thought about going to law school and maybe work in the US but I guess Ill just try for diplomatic work instead since Canada needs all the help it can get since we're ran by literal communists now.

As long as you got to a Top 10 school you should find a good job. Otherwise it's a crapshoot. Also by top 10 I mean American not Canadian.

>Corruption inside the firm or practiced by your clients?
Clients. A law firm found to be breaking the law looks bad, so we avoid it.

are unconvential ways to getting in to law like maybe doing M&A at an IB or something like that?

As in, do you NEED a law degree to end up in law later in your life?

>but the foreign donations don't violate any laws. They're unethical at most.
You ought to take a look at what treason is.

Half the government's guilty of aiding and abetting terrorists at this point. It's even worse if the 9/11 attacks really were perpetrated by a collection of private corporations and deep state government entities.

It's bad enough that if the truth ever came out it'd be civil war. Useless "laws" be fucking damned. People know bad shit fucking them over when they see it, and lawyers aren't going to be able to argue the finer points of "wellll aktshully that's not illegal :)" when the lot of you are hanging from traffic and light posts for defending these scummy fucks.

In the U.S. a J.D. is needed to be a lawyer and practice law in any meaningful sense.

>

If being a lawyer has taught me anything it's that people are fucking stupid and can be manipulated pretty easily. Revolutions don't happen because of moral or political reasons. They happen because peasants are starving in the streets.

Lawyers are being replaced by automation.

Most lawyers don't even practice any sort of law, they just research past cases/decisions in libraries - something that search algorithms (e.g. google) do a hundred million times faster and better. Today you can have 1 lawyer doing the amount of research of 10,000 lawyers from just 50 years ago.

Lawyers are stupidly expensive, so automating them away saves money for the law firms.

How does it work if you need some kind of specialised insight. idk maybe you are suing someone over a product but the people that only truly understand the product are professor tier smart people.

How does that work, do they get paid to give their insight in court or are they forced to go or what?

Your describing paralegals. The truth is people will not trust machines with legal issues anytime soon.

Do you think patent law will be softened anytime soon? It really stifles innovation.

We consult the expert. You don't usually get paid. If we need to we subpoena them. Most of my cases never make it to court. Most big law cases never do. We try to settle or get the case thrown out as much as possible.

That's correct, although it's not only/always because of starving in the streets. Most (all?) revolutions occur at the hands of rich/influential/powerful individuals rising up against the established corrupt (read: weak) institutions.

Which is EXACTLY what we're seeing happen right now, today, with Trump.

Revolutions aren't always successful, nor are they necessarily ethically/morally sound, but from what I've seen the more 'righteous' a movement is, the more successful it tends to be. Nobody wants to be a bad guy, and the more 'good' a movement does, the more followers it'll attract. Donald's making a lot of enemies, but he's also attracting a huge power base of like-minded individuals who want to fight the non-stop corruption they see.

If you're motivated by convictions and ethics/morals over money/influence/power, and don't mind risking the enemies that come from opposing the current "in-group", I'd highly recommend you look at working with the people surrounding Trump.

Mind that regardless of his success or failure in the current election, he plans on starting a media group to oppose the current conglomerates in the industry, and that's going to involve a lot of lawyer work for a lot of different reasons.

If you could have taken a different career path, what would it have been and why.

The only way patent law is softened is if there's a shakeup in who's who controlling the markets and government.

Patent law, like most regulations, are created and maintained by and for the established corporations. Upstarts want them gone - up to the point that they become an established corporation, and then those laws work in their favour and they want to keep them.

So the laws never see any repeal, only more shit tacked onto them.

Any advice for lowly citizens engaging big firms in lawsuits?

Why aren't you Norton Rose Fulbright? Step your game up pleb.

America isn't bad enough for a revolution. It's not going to happen anytime soon.

Don't know.

Exactly. If anything patent laws will get stronger. Just like copyright laws

Get as much media coverage as possible. Get the ACLU on your side if possible. Otherwise take the settlement or your fucked.

>Norton Rose Fulbright
I get paid more and I don't have to work in degenerate londenstan.

Would you hire someone if you knew they went on Sup Forums?

I got an interview at Travers Smith but fucked it and now I am an unemployed History grad :(

what is the difference between legal and lawful?

Seeds are being planted right now, all it takes are economic shocks, and that's going to happen if the SCO continues to see success geopolitically.

The western world is in seriously dire straits right now. We'd be able to handle this situation if it weren't for our governments literally selling the entire people and country down the river for the sake of selfish personal profits. As it is, where we're going we'll need solidarity against foreign groups at the same time that we need solidarity within our nations.

But we can't have this because our corrupt politicians and corporate members decided to fuck everyone in society over in order to cement their control. Part of cementing their control includes creating as many divisive issues as fucking possible so people are too busy fighting each other that they can't fight the corruption of their nations.

A country with so much divisiveness cannot fight an exterior war. The western world *IS* going to collapse if we cannot get control of our absolutely fucking insane immigration (and effectively, genocide) policies. This process has repeated itself countless times over history - a strong national body succumbs to interior weakness and then an exterior threat finally pushes them over.

Our leaders made us weak to make us easy to control, and in the process allowed foreign groups to undermine our position and destroy us.
Every last one of the elites should hang for their sheer incompetence, let alone the nepotism, corruption, murder, etc. that their policies and actions have begotten.

Sure. All I care about is how smart and hard of a worker they are.

The truth is at most large US firms this is the list of the most important traits for employment

1)connections
2) top tier law school
3)Jewish

Are you a jew?

Legal deals more with everyday law. The kind of stuff that I deal with. Lawful usually deals more with higher order broad stuff. Civil rights, constitutional right, etc. Although the terms are used interchangeably

There are places much worse off than the west were revolution hasn't happened (i.e. latin America and Asia) or where it has happened and failed (Middle East)

Do you take people from other cunts too? Like those who took some courses in foreign law?

Nope.

are you looking forward to a few years break from law if hillary steals the election?

all the jews i know irl will run away to other countries in the event of a civil war. what of your law kikes will you all run or fight?

not quite

what is the difference between english and legalese?

So would you say a GPA of 3.5 at a global top 40 school is good enough?

I have no connections and look fairly jewish (curly hair) but aren't. Am I fucked?

Is there any point in sucking corporate 8===D for cash? Is your lifestyle and balance worth the personal sacrifices made?

Civil war isn't going to happen.

Legalese or legal english is the language that's used in drafting legal document. English is a language formerly spoken in the UK before the current language of urdu.

you haven't read cwii, have you? it's pretty much inevitable

do the words in legalese mean the same as in english?

>So would you say a GPA of 3.5 at a global top 40 school is good enough?
For what. If you want US you better go to Oxford Cambridge or a top 10 US school. All that matters for American schools is the LSAT.

>Is there any point in sucking corporate 8===D for cash? Is your lifestyle and balance worth the personal sacrifices made?
I haven't made many sacrifices other than my dignity. I make 900k in salary a year plus on average 1 million in "bonuses". Although it still feels like it isn't worth it.

man you're so emotional, Jesus Christ

How the fuck do I get a job as an attorney. I cannot find one anywhere. I just want to eat.

What's with asking me these questions.

Go to a top tier law school.

I thought this was a AMA?

and your a lawyer of some kind

so I thought I'd see what an expert in laws and legalities could tell me about the system

Did you hate kikes before becoming a lawyer? Do you hate them more now?

I messed that part up already. Is it over? I graduated four years ago. Should I just go to another profession?

No. I hate them now though.

Yes. I would go into consulting or go back and get a degree in CS.

I went to Manchester Uni and got a 2.1.

I've accepted I'm probably fucked for the big leagues so I've been applying to silver circle firms in London so I can at least give it a shot.

I'm just not sure if I should keep bothering following my various rejections.

Should I just work in a bar to make some cash, travel to Thailand on it and then kill myself on a beach there when it runs out?

>Should I just work in a bar to make some cash, travel to Thailand on it and then kill myself on a beach there when it runs out?
Yes.

Also, what is the kikiest thing you've seen your fellow lawyers do?

What is the jewiest thing you've ever done? If you really are a top lawyer your hands won't be clean.

Is everyone at the top of the food chain a sociopath?

excellent

>Also, what is the kikiest thing you've seen your fellow lawyers do?
Talk shit about the goys. Blatant kike nepotism.

>What is the jewiest thing you've ever done? If you really are a top lawyer your hands won't be clean.
Sol my soul for sheckels

>Is everyone at the top of the food chain a sociopath?
Almost. The nice ones are dead inside.

Alright. I'll start looking into consultant work.

What's your ancestral background?

Do your colleagues ever have political discussions, and do you know what the consensus is on this election?

so, we've established that legal and lawful mean different things

and that statutes, acts, bill etc are written in a foreign language where the words don't mean the same as English

seems a bit strange, writing legalities in a foreign language, and expecting normal people to follow them.

do you know how many pages of legalities there are now in the US?

have you read them?

could one person read them all in one lifetime?

do you know what common law is?

is there such a thing as a victimless crime?

Can you explain "intent" to commit a crime and how Hillary got off so easily despite being "extremely careless" and lying to Congress and the FBI. Is the key to winning a lawsuit all in the wordplay?

Is there really a two-track law system; one for the common man and another for the elite?

LSAT score?

How much total tuition and room and board was law school?

How much remaining student loan debt?

How much remaining mortgage debt?

this guy is the most Jewish lawyer I've ever seen

youtube.com/watch?v=WFWSzH7zThs

is he a lot like the lawyers in your firm?

> AMA

This isn't fucking leddit.

Is CNN even trying to hide it anymore?

I went to (((Brandeis))) and I'll say this much:

How that (((race))) is able to get away in the 2010s with the kind of race nepotism that would make Boston brahmins of the 1850's blush is absolutely terrifying to me.

And since they run the media and the legal system and pull the Holocaust card at the drop of the hat (while pumping out a constant stream of holohoax books, NPR programs, movies, etc, so the normies/good goys become their turn-key army the moment any reason-driven dissent needs quashing), they will literally NEVER be called out on it in any meaningful way by the gentile majority.

what do you think would happen if 50% of lawyers were publicly executed?

I just graduated from University of Michigan. Do you have any tips for me? Can I have a job? I'll work for free for the first six months.

Revolutions in the middle east were perpetrated by the US intelligence agencies and countered where possible, by either Russian or national intelligence agencies.

China's enacting massive control policies on their own citizens, which will in the end make fracturing them easier.

But the nationalist countries are going to be extremely tough to crack because they have more classical control systems, such as this crazy notion of having the will of their people empowering the elite to actions and decision-making.

In the western world there is a LOT of dissatisfied people, and the most dissatisfied are also the ones most capable of taking actual action: White males.

Women love our current policies, but they cannot and will not defend them. A 'paper-tiger' of solidarity and consensus so to speak. What matters are men and their beliefs and numbers, and right now a lot of men in western society are getting absolutely fucked over. The US is more of a powderkeg than you think it is, and all it takes is too-weak or too-strong a response by the federal government to anyone finally stepping up against them domestically, to bring the whole house of cards down.

Right now we have Trump trying to change our direction peacefully. His policies will be successful at keeping the western world more or less functioning in the face of a rising China-Russia, but it also means excising the cancerous tumors throughout the government - like hillary, and her friends.

And those individuals would rather see the entire west collapse than give up an ounce of their power and influence. So we get friction, infighting; we get weak while the SCO group gets strong. Our governments are already murdering hundreds of people to cover up leaks - that's not going to last. If the People ever found out the government's running extrajudicial executioners/hitmen, it'd be civil war. If the People ever found out 9/11 was perpetrated by their own government, it'd be civil war.

>Steven Hill dead
damn, loved him in law and order even though he played a cuck

>1989

Taylor Swift get is right on the money.

Some major shit will likely go down in the US in the next decade or two. That's why the dems are terrified of white men and are trying to snatch up as many guns as they can in the left-leaning states such as MA, MD, CT, NY, IL, CA, etc that will likely be the main battlegrounds in the coming civil war between the white militias and the American Left.

>(((Watchell))), (((Lipton))), (((Rosen))) & (((Katz)))
So a bunch of lying moneygrubbing backstabbing parasitic kikes? Nice to know now fuck off forever.

Is pic-related the future of america?

If pic-related is of the Mexico/US border after Trump is elected then yes.

Looks like chicago.

Are you a criminal lawyer or a *criminal* lawyer?

Serious question: do you watch lawyer shows like Suits or the Good Wife and laugh at how fucking stupid they are?

What are you bringing home on your K1 schedules?

Lol I'm a cpa at Deloitte and when I was a first year associate I couldn't watch those mind numbing shows

Do you travel a lot?

Where do you summer?

Im fairly intell8gent, not a lawyer but i make my money. Watching season 5 of suits now and its so painful bow many holes and stupid decisions there are. I cant imagine how bad it must look to someone in th know. Unless the system is really that corrupt and anything is possible which will make me cry

Kian is that you?

how illegal is it to shoot my neighbor in the face for being loud 24/7

Depends if you get caught, just make sure you give your attorney the murder weapon so it never comes up

what law school did you go to? I'm an incoming 1L at Harvard Law School. Moving into Gropius tomorrow morning. Any advice? Also are you in litigation or transactional?

fuck off this thread is interesting

Do you suck dick

I know it's not your area of specialization but what are your thoughts on intellectual property/patent law in the coming decade or so?

I'll be finishing my Ph.D in pharmacology from a top-10 program soon and believe that I could get into a top-14 law school with some prep for the LSAT; I've been wondering if that combination might get me a foot in the door with firms that work with pharmaceutical companies or perhaps in-house with the latter. When you mention connections how much of it is just those general alumni networks you build vs aspiring attorneys personally knowing people in the firms?

My Ph.D program has a strong presence in industry and an active alumni network so I could possibly leverage it if those things matter.

I'm this guy: So take my comments with a grain of salt as I'm not a lawyer yet. My thoughts:

If you are eligible to take the patent bar you will have a much much easier time finding a big-law job that pays that lucrative 180k out of school. Helps a lot for non-t14 schools as well - especially if you have ties to cali.

Since i'm not practicing yet I can't REALLY know but from what i've seen / researched it is mainly general alumni network and attending firm networking events and etc. Number 1 thing is your school and number 2 thing is grades. Go to a T-14 and get grades in the top 25% of your class and you're set.

check out top-law-schools.com forums for a shit ton of info on law school applications and jobs. wouldnt be at H without it
