Millenials were born in the years 1980 to 1994 (the last children born who remember September 11, 2001).
They came of age at the end of the 1990s, through the dot com bubble burst, and finally the housing bubble burst of 2008. They went to college more than any previous generation and took out far far more debt than any previous generation, and due to the bubbles bursting have had very little opportunity to pay it off with a well-paying stable job. Immigration and offshoring has destroyed whatever career paths the bubbles didn't.
They grew up being taught, largely in government public schools, that whites are evil, males are evil, and that women and immigrants were the only good. Nobody else was forced to grow up being force fed "privilege" and political correctness.
