1. the default setting is liberal, because reasons and kikery assumptions
2. facebook doesn't necessarily see what you're viewing or searching or what links you click, which might be good. My searches consist primarily of right leaning sources like breitbart, Disdain for plebs, occupy democrats logic, etc.
