Why does Quantum get so much hate?

It's easily better than Spectre and Skyfall.

it's topic are too sophisticated for the modern audience. hurr water why that worth anything hacyck

It literally had no writers.

The story is as basic and shit as possible, even for Hollywood standards.

Its my favorite of the craig bomd movies

Tv will come around

isn't Quantum about a guy that controls the water supply for poor people?

what a fucking god-tier James Bond villain plot!

who needs poker games financing terrorism?

>it's too close to real life spy shit

t. Pleb

nigga nobody even remembers that QOS exists, it's that boring.

Daniel Craig wants to slit his wrists. he's sick of doing these shit Bond films that should just be "generic spy man" films instead.

Better than Spectre maybe, not Skyfall

It's easily the worst directed Bond film ever made. The action sequences are nauseating. This shit is just disgusting:

youtube.com/watch?v=yfYC_CBNtiM

It's just a one dimensional action movie and there's nothing Bond-like about it except the last name of the character.

It's based off what Nestle did in real life, but they charged a higher markup than Quantum did after monopolizing water.

The real life corporation was more evil and exciting than the movie one. Quantum of Solace sucked

Skyfall is what you get when you combine capeshit plots and writing with James Bond.

Kingsman is what you get when you combine capeshit plot, writing and tone with James Bond.

The non-action sequences more than make up for it.

>literally one of the best Bond chases ever made

Name one better.

>capeshit plot
Explain what this means

>edited quicker than a music video
>one of the best ever

what's wrong with you?

yeah it was too close to real life.

even the weird opera house with giant eye and vatican stuff illumianti.

All of them you pleb.

To me, Quantum of Solace is a fantastically executed film... it's arguably not the most "Bond-esque," a bit more subtle and artful than most others, but that doesn't make it bad film. It's nice to have a change of pace for a Bond film that isn't just violence and women.

WAS GETTING CAUGHT A PART OF YOUR PLAN?, omniscient villain, hacking is magic, Q being dumb enough to plug a virus into a connected computer...

I hated Skyfall. It's maudlin on one hand and dumb as fuck on the other and the two don't mix well.

...

Sure, this one is better:

Or this one fighting with fucking Transformers:

I-is that urine?

Wine, hopefully, or this picture has a new meaning.

I liked it only because the Bolivian was cute as fuck

Realism isn't always good, faggot. James Bond was never about realistic spy shit.

QoS I will give credit as it was improved. There was no writers and the actor and director just made it up as they went along.

It is still trash, even if it has two great bond girls that editing will make me go insane each time I watch it.

>improved
improvised*

James Bond was ripping off movies all the time. QoS and CR is jason Bourne rip-off.

why doesn't this franchise get enough hate?

Because it doesn't deserve it

The first 15 minutes really turned a lot of people off

youtube.com/watch?v=1ujTWhWm5vE

Gemma Arterton was underused as fuck.

The Tosca scene was unironically the most kino Bond scene of all time.

None of those examples are strictly capeshit

thiiissss
the komodo dragon scene and him being mia on a beach was gud

Wish I knew. It's one of the few movies I watched twice in cinemas, never understood the near-universal hate it gets.

I'm hoping that when Craig leave the role, people reappraise his movies and realise CR and QoS were the only good ones.

I found the rapid cuts during action sequences to be disorienting. I couldn't tell what was happening, which means I was lost for about 50% of the movie. It also lacked the emotion of Casino Royale, which was a big fuck up considering what QoS was supposed to be.

whats the one where they play cards? that was the best, other ones are pretty dumb

hold on people didn't like this scene?

HOWEVER, I did think the MI:5 opera scene was done way way better

Post your IQ and what your favorite bond movie is

oh mine?

141 and QoS

Might not be a popular criticism, but that Skyfall shower scene was creepy as fuck.

>woman admits she's been sexually exploited since childhood
>James knows he's her last chance of surviving, she can't afford to piss him off
>walks in on her having a shower, doesn't even say anything, just starts touching her up

I guess the writers remembered the QoS criticism and shoehorned in a sex scene no matter how inappropriate. But compared to CR and Bond/Vesper, it showed just how much the writing had regressed.

115 and they're pleb shit

Arguably truer to the source material. In the books, Bond is excited by rape.

The woman sitting in the crowd in front of Dominic Greene's booth has BIG boobs.

Not strictly nut capeshit is the main offender

Totally agree that it is better than Spec and Sky. The problem was that it sucked compared to Casino Royal.

Casino Royal: A
QoS: C+
Skyfall: D+
Spec: C-

155 and Moonraker

We can all agree these scenes were pure kino, right? Nothing gay about a bit of implied homoeroticism.

it had so much going for it, but the editing robs the movie of any impact

it feels incredibly unsatisfying to watch, despite it making amazing and cool setpieces

the chase
the scaffolding fight
the plane
the hotel fight
the boat chase
the opera
all gorgeous, but marred by fast cuts that seem to be trying to squander any impact the movie might have had.
