Why is Portugal so underrated by non med countries? I have deeply thought about the opinion most people outside southern Europe have about Portugal; and I have assumed that people tend to ignore the great landmarks of these brave sailor people.

Could be, but idk. I wouldn't be that suprised if she was Portuguese. There are a few people with lighter features in Portugal but obviously not as many as farther north in Europe.
I'm actually Portuguese myself and a few of my cousins are natural blondes with blue/green eyes and as far as I know they're 100% Portuguese.
