Why be socialist? Socialism has proven itself a broken system time and time again. I get nationalism, but socialism? Not even once m8

I doubt anyone here will argue with that

Pinkos a shit

you're not wrong lel

No one?

Socialism has never been tried

All that stuff in the 19th and 20th century wasn't real socialism.

>DIDN DU NUFIN
>GIBSMEDAT
>WE FAILS? NEED ANOTHER CHANCE

Truly, the nigger of all ideologies.

Marxist socialism always was an impossible lunatic cult doomed by nonsense presuppositions like permanently "curing" human lust or greed. However, Christian Socialism has an excellent track record depending on the homogeneity of its participants (German and Scandinavian communities in Europe and America).

Why do you support socialized property defense and not socialized other markets?

National border defense is completely different from private property, protection of the constitution and bill of rights are powers the federal government was given

Venezuela wasnt real socialism either, thanks for correcting the record

>national border are owned by no one
>people "gave" the government the right to govern them

Libertarians always fail to see the hyprocracy of supporting a state while supporting free market

"people "gave" the government the right to govern them"

Govern and protect are two very different things my friend

well they didnt give them the right to protect them either

>>they
>>them
>>them

wat?

People do not give consent to be protect by governments

I personally know people that do

argument invalid

The government does not care if they consent, they will do what they will regardless. The government is socialized protection it is not free market.

What is a social contract.

>let's not fix, ratify, nuance or otherwise improve the system
>let's just keep using the old and put on clothes and pretend to be our grandfathers

Yeah. You're a real paragon of innovation and progress there.

Government will do what they think they can get away with, but if enough people freak out, they'll back off.

Look at what happened a couple of years ago when ISIL first became a thing. They implied sending in troops, everyone freaked because of the disasters of the last time we sent troops to the middle east, then no troops got sent aside from air force.

It just requires having an informed populace

its bullshit

Both parties need to be in agreement to form a contract.

They are still not free market. Your argument can be applied to any aspect of a democratic socialist policy.

so would a government hiring purely PMCs be better? Would open it up to the free market

Not have a government, because everything the government does is socialized. Tax is theft, im sure you heard as a lib at some point, so do not stand for it.

You know anything the government has to offer is bad deal just by the fact they have to gather their funds with the end of a sword.

Anything the service the government provide can be provided without coercion. Even if you imagine it being more inconvenient (as if that is possible for it be) its still immoral.

Tax is theft, but given the internal leftist threat I've seen rise in this country, I feel we need some militant feelings about the constitution and bill of rights, hence the nationalism

The Constitution and bill of rights is just some bullshit to justify the government. Its not there to protect the people, its there to protect the government. It gives an illusion of a contract between the people and state.

Without those documents militant feelings against socialism/statism would be even stronger if they were not fooled by illusions and new that the state is pretty much a organized crime syndicate.

g2g dude good talks.

Lolberterians are on the right path but they fail to apply their philosophy to the state itself. Its like a subconscious blind spot.

I use to be ancap, but just seeing the assault on freedom by our own citizens leads me to believe there needs to be some form of militant libertarian movement.

America was founded on libertarianism, so it makes sense that libertarian nationalism should be a thing.

>just some bullshit

Ayo Franklin, get the fuck over here and sign this big list of bullshit with me and jefferson...
