Where were you in ?
Sadly, no. I'm glad to see more appreciation for GS and Brig though.
...
Same. It definitely deserves more appreciation.
emily, emily, emily, emily, emily, emily, emily...
oh, emily...
is 3 any good?
I didn't particularly like 2, beside brig obv
GS2 is generally regarded as the good sequel, so chances are you won't like GS3.
I don't like it at all, and I love GS2.
>beside brig obv
She looked great in GS2. Great hair.

Her hair was better in both GS1 and GS3, you pleb.
She had a fucking wig on in GS1. It wasn't even her real hair!
out by sixteen, dead on the scene
based Emily poster.
friendly reminder that young Vera Farmiga WAS Brigitte. it's fucking creepy.
Bridgette B is best Bridgette
the film, for anyone wondering is Ginger Snaps - which nobody would know because it's obscure and shitty as fuck, and the OP and subsequent shitposting retards in this thread fail to mention the movie title.
>obscure
oh please, anyone who bought DVDs have it, because it was always incredibly cheap.
Great stuff.
>shitty as fuck
>a critically acclaimed cult classic, widely regarded as one of the best horror films of the 2000s
>shitty as fuck
Mhm.
why is she so smug?
>implying I didn't already know that
>implying we haven't already debated this in a previous thread in which I said the wig was better
>implying your taste is anything other than pleb
Stop bullying one of the best 5 films ever made.
Do you think she would beat you at Mario Kart DS? Reckon she can snake?

I know, right? Why does reality have to be shit? Why couldn't it just be good instead?

Patrician taste, meine freundin.
Emily hated nu-metal and Hot Topic goth music though. She found it mundane, shallow and suburban.
Some of Emily's favorite bands at the time:

Are we talking about Brig or Emily here? I won't pretend to know what Emily likes or doesn't like, but Brig was actually largely indifferent to music. And either way, Korn were the only good nu metal band, with the exception of about 5 songs from other new metal bands. They were the only ones who genuinely got the emotion and angst. Everything else is pale imitation.

Also, honorary mention to the QOTD soundtrack:

And random collabs with label bands that never really went anywhere:
>Korn were the only good nu metal band
umm Deftones? They're still decent actually.
everything else was trash. I'd still defend SlipKnoT but I don't know if they count.
But neither is "goth" enough for Brigitte though
The closest Brigitte ever came close to appreciating MTV goth music was through TON and Danzig. I've given this shit a lot of though, I know that I'm talking about.

Anyhow, I recently stumbled upon this nu-metal thing while looking for something completely different on Youtube. Maybe you'd appreciate it. The chorus is pretty infectious desu.
Some Deftones is good, and their future musical direction went better than Korn's, but no other band really got the emotion the way OG Korn did. I wish we could go back and time-lock '95/'96 Korn when they still had the teen angst and force them to make albums over and over again. They were so creative before they went to shit. First couple of Slipknot albums were great though, I'll concede that.

Anyone here have a thing for Brody Dalle growing up?
that Crossbreed track sounds like 5 KoRn songs being played at once.
if you liked scene music of the early 2000s maybe you'll appreciate this:

Never really got into Korn desu, my teen angst years were spent listening to Deicide and The Cure and not much else.

ofc. goth/alt girls were my kryptonite.
Did you ever buy the Korn DVD? you needed to print fucking cheat codes to get to the actual videos. it was actually pretty cool.
Apart from like 2 albums Korn were never really that good so you didn't miss anything.
the funk/rap influences that made nu metal dated pretty badly, compared to, say, traditional emo/hardcore, which has solid roots in 90s post punk.
>I've given this shit a lot of thought, I know that I'm talking about.
You're just picking shit you like yourself and projecting it onto Brig. She was mostly above music.
Ah, fair enough. I wish I could go back to my teen brain sometimes. The Cure are good.
I actually never bought the DVDs, but I do have a ton of singles and bootlegs and promos and cassettes and all that bollocks. I've got three crates' worth of that shit under my bed.
Objectively incorrect. First four/five albums were all decent, with Follow the Leader probably being the weakest link, and Untouchables being the second weakest link (but also containing one of their best songs). It really went downhill with TALITM, with the exception of the untitled album, which is underrated.
