Is Quebec a good place? Is it less cucked than the rest of Canada?
And where do you want to go? Finland is great.
Sweden is superior
Based, me too.
A perkele saying that? I can't believe it.
They seem quite nationalistic so probably
Of course, they still speak French after 400 years and 375 millions surrounding them. Pretty badass isn't it?
Vietnam war was a mistake. It was a decolonisation-independance war. Not a communist-capitalist war. But nor USA nor You guys understund it.
If Scotland or Ireland democratically choose to be Independent then I'll support it but currently I don't think either is a good idea.
hmm?
never heard of this

Not really. They were the biggest population center in Canada until the 60s.
nice

It's a very real thing. The colony initially refused to federate with the rest and it was only after the collapse of the Victorian economy flooded WA with pro-federation Victorians that public opinion swayed in favour of federation. It later turned out to be shit for WA as they expected and there was a successful independence referendum in 1933, but the Commonwealth declared it unconstitutional.
It's flared up again a couple of times and is probably at its biggest in decades right now. The WA Liberals are literally putting together plans for WA to separate from the rest of the economy right now.
>until the 60s
>Canadians 30 millions people
>French speakers about 10 millions
I need proofs.
But still, I speak about the Anglophone population of the Canada, plus the population of the USA, first world power.
Autism
More religious but they vote left wing parties because right wing ones are considered anglocentric
The only leaf separatist movement that matters
Until the 1840's, not the 60s.
During the 1840's massive Irish immigration completely changed the demographic balance in favor of the Anglos.
Daily reminder that Irish are literally anglos in denial.
I guess you're an Anglo-Canadian, what's you're opinion about the independance of Quebec/or the French part of it, for example?
So they are cucked in both ways.. no thank you.
No it was the 60s because that's when Quebec lost its political dominance
>but they vote left wing parties
Well, it depends. In federal politics yeah, but in provincial politics for the past few years it's been the exact opposite. Right now, center-right parties combined are polling around something like 70% of the popular vote.
Though the entire left-right spectrum is sorta fucked because of other political issues. As has been pointed out ITT, some parties for example are viewed as anglo-centric, some are separatists which causes some to hate them, and historically those issues have often ended up being more important than traditional left-wing or right-wing issues.

You said "They were the biggest population center in Canada until the 60s.", which is just false, seeing as Ontario had a bigger population (as early as 1851). If you're talking about the single biggest CITY (and the most relevant economically), then yes, Montreal was indeed that. However, even then it's wrong to speak of "political" dominance, seeing as the political power was in Ottawa and in Ontario (which, after all, had a bigger population and therefore more demographic pull).
There's a reason why the parliament was moved to Ontario AWAY from Montreal many years prior to that. And there's a reason why the government was able to get away with things like conscription during WW1, banning French language schools in Ontario, etc. If Quebec really had political dominance, those would never have happened. And even the economical power in Quebec was almost entirely in the hands of the Anglophone minority until 2nd half of the 20th century.

Literally all of them. The more decentralized our world is, the better.

I support Quebec independence too. Only if that means they leach off somebody else though.
Any and all EU separatist movements
Scottish separatism
Californian separatism
Catalonian independence
Occitan separatism
Irish separatism
Bavarian separatism
North Italian separatism
Confederate separatism in the US
Trudeau wants to make health care in Canada the same way as it is in Quebec, but since our system won't be affected, we'll just get cold hard cash instead :^)
Sorry lad, we're only leaving once the gibs stop coming our way.
I don't understand why countries care about them.
Just let them be free for fuck sake !
What is the European leader's problem exactly ?
>Occitan separatism
I'm Occitan and idk what that is
They should become a French overseas territory and leech off the EU t b h
memes, like Breton separatism
>French overseas territory
A French fully departement you mean. Le Québec is our rightful clay, and everybody knows that.
Just nobody wants to admit it.
>Corsican separatism
Outstanding post
one time i posted this and some anglo got really mad and started asking why i didn't post the one where we support gay marriage
he didn't understand that no one gives a shit about marriage here
>There's a reason why the parliament was moved to Ontario AWAY from Montreal many years prior to that.
because your sociopathic brethren burnt it to the ground?
YANKEES FUCK OFF
youtube.com
Schoking truth : nobody cares about Corsica.
I'm not Anglo, if that's what you're implying.
that is what i was implying, yes
US should've done more to encourage joining the union.
None. Separatism is a meme. It's a tactic deployed.by foreign powers to undermine rival nations. A UK without Scotland for example is much less influential in Europe, allowing the Germans and French to assert their dominance more easily. Ever notice how much attention Scottish independence gets while Catalonia was swiftly shut down? The Eternal Continental loathes our very existence. They will not rest until every mile of British territory becomes an Islamic socialist hellhole that spouts Eurocratic propaganda.
Do NOT trust the Europeans. The British are perfidious out of necessity, the Europeans are perfidious out of nature.
Fuck you all the Union forever!

But only if they all happen simultaneously
I agree
It's mostly just bogans that support it
Tibet, but i doubt they'll get it
Especially considering the country got better after it stopped being a classist theocracy thanks to China
>falling for the Catalonia meme in 2018
I would even settle for a semi-autonomous status.
Too bad we don't have our cultural shit sorted out, were not as unified as we should be and for some reason a lot of California pride today materialized as a leftist reactionary fit against Trump instead of the love for your people like it should have been. I will always support my homeland, but the current climate does not look good.
We would've federated in like 1870 if colonies were more into it.
You traitors will never destory our glorious Union
>Occitanian separatism
Not even big enough to be a meme
yee yee brother HH
>tfw new zealand is literally a separatist movement
After an entire thread of Texans, Dixons, and Cascadians supporting their own independence you suddenly decide that the union is sacrosanct when its California that wants to separate?
I'm surprised we even federated at all, t.bh. If discussion of it dragged past WW1, it's possible that Australia would be 2-4 countries right now.
none
It kinda weirds me out that Australia is a country with two main groupings of population on opposite coasts of the continent with a fuckhuge area of empty space in the middle.
so is Fiji funnily enough
nah it was inevitable for the eastern states
WA joining was the surprise. they didn't really have the same trade pressures that the other colonies did
Sure, importing million of nigs just to boost your french pop is a great idea long term
>Separatists
The entire southeast of the US. Dumbfucks always talk about seeding and how the south will rise again but backpedal hard if you call their bluff
Seceding, not seeding
Only Western Sahara and only because fuck the king of Morocco. All other separatist movements, including Tibet, Somaliland and Cabinda, should be crushed and their populations oppressed and forced to assimilate.
California, so America can go from 56% face to 68% face
never has a post been more classically yankee
this and the memes Brittany is the funniest shit, the Occitan one is a bit pathetic because it shows people posting them actually learn everything they know about the world from imageboards.

I don't support seperatist countries, like Austria, Switzerland, Luxemburg and the Netherlands. But I support Flanders and Elsass into Germany

I base my support for seperatists mostly on how well it would look on the map of they were to succeed.
