Finns are getting older and those well above 30s are unlikely to give births.
Research professor named Anna Rotkirch says that we must respect the beliefs and values of individuals and that if some people choose to not have babies, we can't judge them.
Rotkirch says the problem is complicated: there are no jobs for everyone in Finland, over 500 000, mainly young people being unemployed, resulting in them not having babies which are drain on money they are receiving. If they were employed, they could afford having babies but it just isnt possible in Finnish job market.
Many political parties want to solve both the problem of Finnish people not having babies and the problem of unemployment by immigration policy which favors foreigners to move in.
