I have never seen an episode of GoT

I have never seen an episode of GoT.

What's it all about?

The first 4 seasons are "realistic" medieval stuff with a touch of magic here and there. Basically it's about several noble families fighting for supremacy in a fictional country called Westeros, while across the sea the last heiress of the previous royal dynasty plots her revenge.

Then season 5 starts and who the fuck knows.

sounds boring as shit
what's the appeal? just investment in characters?

it's mature fantasy like Witcher 3 or Vikings

overrated incest porn for like 7 seasons

me neither, it looks kind of corny and from just hanging around on here it seems that most of the fans of the series don't even like it

Sneed and Morty are fighting for control over the Black Lodge.

it's about a former ad man who breaks bad and decides to become a serial killer

Bunch of people fighting for power and shit with dragons and magic and zombies thrown in the mix.

Like LOTR but with politics and sex of all kinds

Honestly as someone who watched the entire series up til now
It has no appeal, I started watching because peer pressure and just got invested but in hindsight it was a mistake
Save yourself the time and don't watch

It's great. The characters are what really make it. They're so well acted and well written from the start that you become invested pretty early in their motivations and actions, especially the Stark and Lannister families (who are basically the main characters of the first few seasons.

The actors are generally pretty good, Sean Bean carries the first season perfectly. A big part of its appeal is also the notion of "realistic" consequences for mistakes. Most tv shows will bend over backwards to save their heroes when they do something stupid or find themselves in an impossible situation. Game of Thrones just lets them die. That's the whole "nobody is safe" thing that you might have heard people raving about. But again, this is only seasons 1 through 4. After that, it turns into >muh dragons, >muh zombies

It's a racist CIS tv show for male patriarchy shitlords to dream about the Middle Ages where they could marry and rape little girls.

Luckily D&D has taken the show on a new direction now that the fetishist fat fuck GRRM is on his death throes, now the brave women of Westeros fight on the frontlines of social equality.

Some Kangz n Shiet I turned off when the was going to kill a puppy. Second episode I think it was

>first 4 seasons are realistic
>first scene is a monster playing kickball with a zombified head
>woman births 3 dragons in the first season
>woman shits out a shadow demon to assassinate a king
>zombies attack protagonist
>dead man comes back to life repeatedly
>magic green super fire
>men with power to change face whenever they want
>weird extradimensional horror house dragon woman burns down
>super special metal used for unbreakable swords
>crippled kid melds with trees and controls animals
>witch woman tells prophecies to children for shits and gigs
>giant fucking magic ice wall is major set location
>just a little bit of magic tho

More magic shit happens on screen ing GoT than LOTR.

That's why I put "realistic" in quotes. I mean it's realistic in the sense that a lot of fantasy tropes are ignored and people face realistic consequences for their actions.

It's a show about everyone getting BTFO

about the most beautiful woman in the world

game of thrones is the homestuck of television, don't even watch that shit

all of the people who find it to be compelling television probably have shit taste and are generally obnoxious irl

I've watched 5 episodes so far. Does it get not boring? Because for the last 5 episodes it's been boring.

tbqh no matter what people say about quality u need to watch it as soon as possible. things like GoT happen once in a lifetime, it's truly unique expirience. you'll regret later if you miss it

this

Sean Bean is in GoT- I had no fucking idea...

cringe

Never seen it before either but I browse The Sup Forums so much that I know about red wedding, the wall, night king, blonde chick fucks jon snow this season from spoilers.

>tfw a parody music video of Game of Thrones has a hotter Dany than the real show

Emilia Clarke is pretty, but not "most beautiful woman in the world" tier. She got the part because it was a risky project with a limited budget and she was willing to get her tits out.

It's a very big story involving a bunch of noble families in a fantasy continent named Westeros. There's a bunch of different conflicts in the show and the authors try not to create simple good vs evil vibe. The first season is kinda slow but it is also very good, specially the final episodes. There's also a ton of characters that you'll need to catch up with, a bunch of them are really interesting. The dragons and the sex are not the point of the show, just something to grab new viewers, what will really hook you are the characters and the plot-twists.

It's an anime for NORMIE scum

Thanks you guys. I appreciate the input.

It's literally Mount & Blade Warband: The Show for the first 4 seasons, good shit.

t. faggot

fuck man, i think about this a lot. If an actual good looking ACTRESS was cast as Dany i would have enjoyed the character much more.

Season 7 just granted pretty much everybody except for extras and minor characters (not including 1 other death of a main character) Mk. 69 Plot Armor

Your opinion is that it's fucking shit.
That or you LEAVE NORMIE REEEE

I just wanted to know what it's about. I never said I would watch it.
>I don't watch TV anyways.

there is nothing more to see here unless you faggots want to keep this thread alive
rip

My greatest wish is that one day people who use anime reaction pics will see what they look like to others.
