I thought it would be interesting to check out this movie to see how the other side thinks. The whole movie is aimed at pushing a narrative that neo-nazis and white nationalist are this huge threat. When relatively speaking they are statistically not a factor in terrorism. Yet this movie tries to make it seem as if they are more dangerous than jihadist. Interesting movie, but in political terms its like the blue pill in movie form.

I'd give it a 5/10. It wasn't "propaganda" (any more than the average poorly researched thriller is) or particularly interesting. Radcliffe have a decent performance, better than I was expecting.
The Nazis seemed like bad guys because Nazis are bad guys. Have you ever encountered skinheads? They are exactly as retarded as they were portrayed in the film. The actual terrorists (who pass for normal) even point out their degenerate behavior. I did think that it was strange how the writers didn't bother to refute the Nazi's ideology, but rather expected the audience to be naturally repulsed by the villians' views. Missed opportunity in my view.

Roger Ebert even pointed it out in his review: They spend the an hour making the case for white pride and white nationalism, and then essentially try to throw that all overboard by making the protagonist bond with a nigger over sex stories while washing laundry, and making the main supporting skinhead a fucking obese asshole who is openly abusive towards the other characters.
The argument FOR white pride and white defense is made. The argument against is all ad hominem and red herring.

the movie said they pose no threat to anyone, and are just confused drunks. I don't want to spoil it, but there is a plot twist based on the strongest criticism of the movement shared by the movement: nobody in white nationalism does anything but talk. The least likely type to do anything but get drunk are the skinheads.

A confederate flag is paired up nicely with a nazi flag as they walk through the barn. When they enter the other room there's a guy sitting there who sells the nazi merchandise. A totally unrelated close up shows the text "in uncertain economic times, nazi collectibles are foolproof" which goes hand in hand with the idea that people are only in it for the money, which Imperium also talks about

Besides the obvious Dale Carnegie book offered by Daniel Radcliffe's supervisor, I found it quite interesting how many books you may seen recommended on Sup Forums on the bookshelf of the educated family man.
I guess it's not that surprising considering there are only so many books in this genre/category, but it still surprised me nonetheless that there was proper research done into the movement before they made the movie.

In my mind, the movie ended when they tried to pin it all on the radio host and he comes in to report Radcliffe's character to the FBI. When Radcliffe confronts his bitch of a handler, that's when I see the credits roll in my head. Don't watch past that point.
