What are some stupid fucking laws in your cunt that you're pretty sure no one else has?

What are some stupid fucking laws in your cunt that you're pretty sure no one else has?

In Sweden, many of the most important laws have a "except the Sami people" addendum. These people are literally not subjects to Swedish law because ???

It's also legal to prostitute yourself, but completely illegal to pay for sex.

oh boy where do i start

Here it's legal to kill deer but it's illegal to kill anglos. That's pretty fucking stupid if you ask me,

In Bhutan you get life for killing deers. Their deers are not harmless either, they have huge fangs and shit.

>t. person that knows literally nowthing about animals

You cannot call your pig Napoleon

it's illegal to burn foreign flags but legal to burn the danish one

You have to register yourself with the arms control office of the army to teach martial arms. Pinochet era legislation, I think they watched to many movies and thought learning kung-fu would turn you into an unstoppable killing machine.javascript:;

So how does this "Sami thing" work technically? I mean, for example, from what I know, the Swedish authorities avoid registering/publishing any data indicating ethnic backgroung of criminals, but on the other hand Sami people aren't punished in some cases? Do they have some kind of "Sami stamp" in their ID cards? Is there some official "Sami register"? Isn't this seen as a kind of discrimination? What if someone was born Sami, but he or she or xe doesn't wan't to be associated with any ethnic minority?

age of consent is the most retarded law out there

There's a few. Off the top of my head in WA they still have laws regulating duels in place

""""""""""""""""Magicians"""""""""""""""" who are captured are publicly executed.

>In Sweden, many of the most important laws have a "except the Sami people" addendum.

in australia its illegal to kill most native animals except for in special cases but i think aboriginals are allowed to kill even endangered ones and eat them under the law.

How do the witch hunters feel about Naom? Sounds like a lot of witchery will be going on there, maybe even some vampires from the near North.

Are you studying law cunt?

>Are you studying law cunt?

no. i just remember hearing aboriginal tribes are allowed to kill and eat endangered sea turtles on the coast but whitey cant touch them.

Yeah, started my final year last week

A cyclist should generally use a helmet.

It doesn't mean anything, it's not enforced, and there's no punnishment, but it's still a law.

Attached: spurdoilu ei ole rikos.png (180x262, 24K)

oh, i just read that somewhere recently

Nice, how you liking it? Whats your plans after you finish?

Yeah it's alright. I'm currently working for the ATO in tax prosecution and will probably stick with that when I graduate

Same here

In Poland the only regulations regarding bicycles on the road is as follows: Bicycle must be equipped with a functioning bell/buzzer, a front active (powered) light, rear active (powered) light in the color red and a red reflector.

The use of helmets and hi-vis clothing is hinted. Which is a good thing honestly, puting the cost of purchasing a helmet on the cyclist would just result in smaller number of cyclists.

Cool are you doing a double degree with accounting as well? I currently am and was thinking about looking for some work in either one of those fields while I study. Howd you land a job with the ATO?

I wish we do that here. Can't open a fucking stall without coughing up blood the next day

we have this except it's heavily enforced

It's illegal to leave children alone in house, but it's completely legal to leave them alone outside (in this case I guess that age of child matters, you still can't leave 2 years old baby in a park, but that counts for some other law)

Yep, accounting. Yeah you can if you want. I'd recommend going for something in tax there since there's a good overlap for law and it sometimes can count towards hours for your practical legal training when you graduate.

I got in with the ATO just by applying on their website. I think the Health Department take law students too. Community Legal Centers are great places to get legal experience and they generally take on second years so I'd look out for those. Beyond that, it's a good idea to buddy up with any lawyers you might know since connections are one of the main ways people find jobs in law to start off with.

Technically, it's illegal for anyone who isn't a licensed electrician to change a light bulb.

topkek if true

> puting the cost of purchasing a helmet on the cyclist would just result in smaller number of cyclists.
How does deadly accidents affect the numbers?
Gotta keep those pedals turning!

Interesting, have you had any experience in a law firm? and also what are the pros/cons of working in the accounting side of things over law. Sorry if i come off abit intrusive, Its just that I've started my third year and really wanted to find some work that actually overlaps with my course.

Yeah nah no worries mate. I haven't had any experience in a law firm no.

Accounting's probably easier to get into and working in a business setting is always a good thing to have on your resume, but ultimately if you want to work in law it's good to have legal experience. Accounting is better than nothing though.

Not a lot. Countries where helmets are mandatory are also the ones where cyclist fatalities are the most common.
There are studies that prove you're safer without a helmet than with a helmet because drivers seeing a cyclist without a helmet assume he's inexperienced (lol) and give him more space/execute more caution. Unironically the statistically safest way to ride a bicycle is to ride in the middle of the road swerving dangerously left and right with everybody honking and yelling at you because those honking/yelling people acknowledged your existence, are aware of your existence and they're focused on not crashing into you.

Safety in cycling comes from the numbers. Increasing number of cyclists means decreasing numbers of car users.
Less car users means safer roads because a bicycle is physically unable to plow into a bus stop killing 16 people because the rider was busy checking out his facebook.

Wtf figured this would be a British flag

>tv licence

Hows a government salary with the ATO like? I might give an accounting job a shot this year since next year I gotta complete my practical legal training anyway.

In Alaska it is illegal to get drunk in a bar. Sounds like one of those retarded forgotten laws nobody cares about or enforces but...
abcnews.go.com/US/illegal-drunk-alaska-bars-law/story?id=15330748

It's illegal to whistle underwater in Vermont, West Virginia, and the city of Portland.

Don't list retarded laws that are never enforced

In India it is legal for gays to get married, however according to the Unnatural Sex Act having sex with someone of the same sex, an animal or an object is forbidden by law. So if you're gay you can get married in India but you can't have sex or you'll be arrested lol.

Prostitution is legal however pimping is illegal.

Kite flying requires a permit similar to that of the one required for being able to fly a plane.

If you find any money above ₹11, you need to report it to the authorities or you may be arrested if found guilty. If its ₹10 or below, you may keep it.

Only 10 couples can legally dance on a stage event, any more and it will be a violation of the law

It's illegal to attempt suicide. If you attempt suicide and survive, you'll be facing charges by the court. If you die however, no legal action will be taken.

>It's also legal to prostitute yourself, but completely illegal to pay for sex.
We have the same.

That would, technically, be true in France too.

If you remove the bulb, the electrodes are exposed. They may or may not be under tension, but an interuptor is not a consignation organ. Therefore, even if you used the interruptor first, the electrodes are considered a nude on tension piece and people non trained in electrical safety should net get closer than a meter away.

But, again, nobody give a fuck. We have some stupid laws like that. It is illegal to cross the road anywere else than on the pedestrian passage, women can't wear pants and so on.

>Countries where helmets are mandatory are also the ones where cyclist fatalities are the most common.
Maybe the countries with the most bike death make helmet obligatory. Look at Netherlands. It is super safe to drive here.

You can legally kill your wife if she has an affair

If you got married you're bound in kinship with eachothers family. When you get a divorce you're still legaly bound in kinship with their family. In other words: you're always stuck with your inlaws.

It's also illegal to visit nature areas after sundown.

It's illegal to fuck children

I think that's a pretty common one in the first world.

He probably is a refugee who discover the country.

honestly I can't think of any really dumb actual laws in Russia
I even tried to google but haven't found anything
maybe some progressive liberal Russian may help me

What's fucking stupid here is customs or traditions, not laws. I think laws here are somewhat decent

Illegal to buy/share/sell/make porn, but you have a freedom to own it in your hdd. It includes disgusting CP and bestiality btw.

Legal drinking age just got raised to 20. Don't know if that's stupid though. We're drink way too much.

>Kite flying requires a permit similar to that of the one required for being able to fly a plane.
what?

It's legally punishable by law to fly a kite if you don't have a permit for it.
Although I havent really seen or heard it being enforced ever

>the whole ocean use Jewish law

Blublublub

It's a thing here too.

The entire system is a joke. We have Swedish like laws in a savage Africa tier country.

Are you a minor? 3 years of "social-education". Killed 10 people? Don't matter, will be in "prison" just 3 years.

Are you an adult? Max of 30 years. first time? less 1/6. Good behavior? less 1/6. It's a big holyday? You can be free for one day.

good post

Civil law is cancer

In canada as you see in that pic Quebec has it's own way of doing things

>"except the Sami people
Soon it's
>"except muslims"

>REEE DON'T EAT OR DRINK WHILE YOU'RE WALKING!
>REEE DON'T SPEAK ON THE PHONE ON A PUBLIC TRANSPORT!
>REEE DON'T TIP THE WAITER!
>REEE DON'T ASK A WAITER TO REMOVE ONE THING FROM YOUR ORDER!
>REEE DON'T BLOW YOUR NOSE IN PUBLIC!
>REEE DON'T STICK YOUR CHOPSTICKS UPWARDS INSIDE A RICE BOWL!

Fuck Japan and their excessive conduct etiquette.

>REEE DON'T EAT OR DRINK WHILE YOU'RE WALKING!
Partially ok.
>REEE DON'T SPEAK ON THE PHONE ON A PUBLIC TRANSPORT!
Partially ok. It's annoying people speak loudly.
>REEE DON'T TIP THE WAITER!
>REEE DON'T ASK A WAITER TO REMOVE ONE THING FROM YOUR ORDER!
Ok, it's stupidity.
>REEE DON'T BLOW YOUR NOSE IN PUBLIC!
Absolutely right.
>REEE DON'T STICK YOUR CHOPSTICKS UPWARDS INSIDE A RICE BOWL!
Just superstition.

>Absolutely right.
They'd rather be sniffling their snots around over just blowing them and be done with it.
How is that not worse?

Feather beds or any other article filled with feathers are technically illegal.

Attached: Down_Top_Featherbed_new.jpg (1600x1200, 195K)

good christian country

>>REEE DON'T STICK YOUR CHOPSTICKS UPWARDS INSIDE A RICE BOWL!
Well if my future potential child do this I will strictly tell him not to do this again because hat's completely haram and disrespectful to others, meaning you shall die.
Other ones are ok. They are not worth spanking him like he should learn by himself

Also what the fuck?
>don't leave your plate empty in a restaurant because that means you were left with hunger and that disrespects the chef
Sorry but that's just retarded.

Martinez, you are seriously misunderstanding between my country and China. That's Chinese etiquette. I hope you are baiting

what's the source for that image?

>you can be free for one day
At officers' discretion?

all of theses but blowing your nose are perfectly valid.

There is a town where it is illegal for ufos to land.

>his country doesn't have its own legal system that's used by other countries
Lawlets, when will they learn

What, why? Due to allergies?

>women can't wear pants
Oh fuck yes. I love you, France.

Attached: a7d.jpg (600x1170, 61K)

It's illegal to push drugs, but it's not illegal to use them yourself.

It works.

Sami """people""" are literal fucking subhumans

>Less car users means safer roads because a bicycle is physically unable to plow into a bus stop killing 16 people because the rider was busy checking out his facebook.
More cyclists also makes more car drivers aware of the possibility of there being cyclists on the road.

You must be 20 to buy a beer which is the highest in europe and the state has monopoly on it so its probably the expensivest in europe also. And you can only bring a certain amount of candy when coming home from abroad

Iceland..

Norway even has a sami parliament

tho it's so irrelevant most normies don't even know it exists lmao

>Prostitution is legal however pimping is illegal.
That's the same in Argentina. Offer yourself in prostitution and soliciting a prostitute isn't illegal, however pimping and brothels are.

same in Poland

It is to protect women from being put in prostitution ring by force or something I suppose.
The client, the Pimp will be the one prosecuted in case of a bust, but the girl won't because they're usually under some contraints (money problem, drug addiction, human trafficking).
