it's just torture porn

Jesus was Jewish.

Jews understand screwing over their own people, what are you talking about?

He denounced old time jews for what they were (merchants, money lenders, infidels, sinners, and all over terrible people) and made Christians the new Jews, you can fuck off

He was Aramaean from galilee who spoke Aramaic as his first language, preached to gentiles, and described the Pharisees and Jewish elites as a brood of snakes and vipers and said their father is the devil.

Modern Talmudic Jews are Pharisees.

This doesn't make Christianity a white religion nor does it make anyone in the Semitic language group "evil."

>He denounced old time jews for what they were (merchants, money lenders, infidels, sinners, and all over terrible people)
He only denounced the money lenders. Jesus was still an open advocate for Jewish supremacy.

It does
Prove me wrong; protip you can't

Is this the only film that we can say, with absolute certainty, (((who))) was behind the negative reviews?

Jesus was not Jewish stop it with this meme.

>Jews
>not Romans

...

I never said any of those things.

I'm a Semitic Christian myself, I'm not white, and I'm certainly not evil.

I'm just saying drawing a link between Jesus and modern Jews is insane. It's like drawing a link between modern pagans and Mohammad because Mohammad was a pagan before becoming a Muslim.

Fact is, the religion that Jesus preached was at odds with the religion of the Pharisees of the time; and modern Jews derive their religion from the Pharisees of the time.

Who else /saved/ here?

Literally braindead. Since Sup Forums seem to be the least cultured people despite going on about muh degeneracy, watch the last temptation of christ if you actually want a christian message and emotional payoff in a bible movie. Jesus actually overcomes challenges in that, instead of just being whipped.

Neither a biblical nor historical version of Jesus ever existed.

>Jesus was still an open advocate for Jewish supremacy.
no, he wasnt. he called the jewish supremacists at the times the synagogue of satan

Except that movie is literal fanfic with no basis in the bible or religion, and has nonsensical plot points like Jesus going to visit a hooker or building crosses for the Romans.

I get it tries to be "deep" but it's just weird and nonsensical.

Passion of the Christ has beautiful cinematography, pacing, and dialogue delivery. It makes you feel as if you were there, witnessing Jesus's suffering with your own eyes, and feel the guilt of letting him suffer whilst basking in the immense love He has for us.

>there is no Greek or Jew, we are all one under God

I saw it in theaters when I was 13. My mom took my to see it and I think she regretted the decision because she herself couldn't even handle it. With all the gore aside, the thing that haunted me after was the depiction of the demon children, the devil, and his mini me. Fuck it was perfect.

It's torture porn. I think the only thing that comes close to how Jesus was depicted in the bible is unironically Jesus Christ Superstar. He built a fucking suicide squad of fishermen and thugs (St. Peter fucking cut the ear of someone shit talking him with a sword) and went around with a former whore. Fuck modern christians and their "what would Jesus do?" He would go back to his scummy friends, tell you to mind your business or fuck off in the desert for a bit, probably.

This thread is gonna need some child proofing for all that edge

Edge? I'm literally telling you that jesus was a chilled guy except when he freaked out against merchants and people abusing religious power, how does that make me edgy?

>I came not to bring peace, but a sword
>the path to heaven is narrow, and only few make it; but the path to hell is wide and many traverse it

Jesus came to basically say "clean your shit up or burn in hell forever". He was loving and forgiving, but he didn't mince words and tell people to do whatever.

>he path to heaven is narrow, and only few make it; but the path to hell is wide and many traverse it

Notice how the exact words in hebrew meant "the road to destruction", not the path to hell. In part because Hell (Gehenna) is rarely mentioned in the bible (and only a single passage implies suffering, while it's more often described as "destruction of the soul"). Heaven is a prize, but the concept of hell being a punishment is definitely debatable. Also, would a decent god really make a heaven for "only few" that make it and just torture the majority of people? That doesn't sound good.

The Hebrews consider themselves the chosen people. So yes. It is believable that they'd write about a heaven that's only attainable for a few. We aren't talking about real life. We are talking about a book that was written over hundreds/thousands of years which details history, tradition, law, and morality of tribal Jews through the earliest christians. The Bible isn't a non-fiction book. It's a collection of works by multiple authors most of whom claim to be other more prominent figures.

how do you explain the fact that one of the ways God destroys people who betray His covenant is by flooding their lands with hostile foreigners?

Because the people that wrote the Bible A. Made things up to make a point. B. Borrowed other cultures stories and morphed them into their own to make a point. C. Attributed anything bad as being a punishment and anything good as a reward. (Where, for example, the time between a famine and a bounty in the Bible could seem like back to back days apart incidents, but in reality happened decades apart in history). I really wish a bible history class was mandatory in high school since it has so much relevance in our society

God is loving but also just. Nobody goes to hell who truly didn't deserve to, the people who go to hell essentially choose to do and make decisions they know will send them there.

Do you think someone who murders a baby and feels no guilt or remorse doesn't deserve punishment?

God is loving but also just. He treats no one unfairly.

>It's torture porn.
why do all redditors share this opinion on The Passion?

Because they are parroting the original jew outbursts when it was released like good goys

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tacitus_on_Christ

That's not what Matthew implies when he quotes that only a few go to heaven and everyone else is following the path to destruction. One thing is just being destroyed and not getting the prize, another thing is thinking that the -vast majority- except a few are going to burn in hell for all eternity. Or do you think everyone exept a few is murdering babies and feeling no guilt? And if MOST of us are going to eternally burn in hell anyway, why not just be as terrible as possible? Since people that are just buttfucking each other are going to be punished exactly the same way as Hitler is going to be punished.

>yfw christcucks literally worship a jew

I worship god

no? he called the people using the temple of solomon as some sort of market, and house of sin as the synagogue of satan. get your facts straight man

Which had " a favourite people. Who you are not part of.
Whose enemy is also called Baalzebub, a word that in hebrew translates as "Baal Z'vuv" - literally the lord of flies but a throwback to baal, the phoenician god of thunder. Every "enemy" and "demon" of your lord is just a perversion of the enemies of the Jews: Babylon, Baal, "Legion" (which was a mockery of the romans).

Your "god" was quite litherally part of a pantheon of pre judeist gods, only upon winning he became the center of a monotheistic religion.

I'm feel sorry for you that you are so depressed. I'll pray for you, that one day you will find God and the love of Christ. Peace be with you.

Projecting much mindlet?

Thank you user, appreciated, i wish he didn't gave me shitty serotonine receptors though, add that in your prayer since he seems to listen.

>This thread
Sup Forums is really fucked up
The whitest of whites are usually Christian
And Sup Forums now renounces on Christianity because "Jesus was a Jew"
kekable

Because most people are evil in their hearts

Sup Forums doesn't exist

Go there right now, most threads are "BASED ISRAEL isn't that bad!", American Trumpists who know nothing about history or world politics, Christian-hating fedoras, and Slavs who hate hitler/Germany.

Old Sup Forums is gone. Now it's just a bunch of baiting retards and shill posts. Nothing to do with Christianity or traditionalism

>yfw you see the almost Olympian level mental gymnastics Sup Forums goes through to disassociate Jesus from anything remotely Jewish.
>The guy who, according to the book of freaking Matthew, is basically descended from all the Jew's best mensch
>and ministered almost exclusively to Jewish people during his time alive, only proclaiming that His message should be spread world-wide shortly before ascending to heaven.

I'd be impressed, if only your dissonance regarding Christ's heritage wasn't dwarfed by your colossal failure to reconcile your weird, social Darwinist ethno-nationalism with what Jesus taught. I'd almost prefer it if you people were just honest with yourselves and worshiped your 'honorable' pagan gods openly.

No sir. I walk in the light of the Lord. He has blessed me with a great career and a beautiful family. I thank him daily. I pray for those more unfortunate than myself and regularly give to charity. I do it because it's the right thing to do. I do it because I love God.

I shall. Perhaps seek medicine? Anti-depressants may help. And I'm sorry for your condition.

Dude not everyone is Sup Forums

this.
