Is that vegetarian?

I made some fried rice, grilled vegetables, and chicken marinaded in a sauce of teriyaki marinade, bay leaves, garlic, beer, soy sauce, and lime. It's pretty good.

Starting from top left,
>galavati kebabs
Melts right in your mouth as soon as you put em.

>Nihari
It actually warms up the body because of good amount of ginger in it. Used in winters to keep yourself warm. Temperature reaches 5°C here in winters.

>Tandoori roti

>with milk

>Lal maas
Means red meat
It is a mutton dish made with huge amount of red chilli's so comes the name lal=red

Would eat 9/10

I am 99 kya but also I'm 6'2" so that cancels everything lmao.
I just love eating.

Sounds great. Thank you, Raja Singh.

This looks freaking delicious. But it looks more like lunch or dinner

Yes I do actually.
This is malai kofta. Which means cream meatballs. The gravy is made up of cream and exotic spices and onion and tomato gravy.

No worries bro.
Just make sure you find some Nihari in your country.

Attached: fullsizeoutput_2aa0-1024x768.jpg (1024x768, 175K)

that reminds me of when i was living in Delhi. It was not a comfy place to live in for a long time but still I sometimes miss the time back then. I wonder if Delhi has gotten any better than live 2 years ago. back then, every cornner of the city stinked like shit and every place I went was crowded with swarms of people and I never saw a single person observe traffic signals. Hope it's no longer the case in there

I wish we had stews for breakfast in England.

>I wonder if Delhi has gotten any better

nah it's still a shithole, but that's what gives it character imo

wtf I love Indian food now

I had a crumpet with honey.

It's actually ginger and chillies.
Nihari has a back story stretches back to Mughal period.
Nadir shah came to India and found that cold would kill him somehow, as he can't drink alcohol because of Islamic faith so he ordered his soldiers to look for a dish that warms him up.
They came to old delhi and found out that the cooks are making chicken gravy, so the soldiers asked him that Nadir Shah wants something to warm him up. So the cooks tweaked the dish with some more spices and a good amount of ginger for Nadir and hence Nihari is formed.

Nah it's still a shithole.
But as I live in Lucknow and Lucknowi food has great amount of influence from Delhi food so I can find this in my city anywhere.

Just go to any muslim dominanated market in England and you can find Nihari near any mosque.

nice. what do you think of indian diasporas that cook overseas in other countries? i've heard indians complain that it's tasteless and not really authentic as the one made back home, but idk if there's any truth to that or not

Does the tomato sauce has some spice in it?
Otherwise it would be tasteless for me.

> what do you think of indian diasporas that cook overseas in other countries?
They're pretty bad IMO.

> i've heard indians complain that it's tasteless and not really authentic as the one made back home
It's true.
Cook overseas lower the amount of spices and chillies to please the whites so the dish pretty much loses it's mojo.

Fuck it looks delicious, I just wish the tomato sauce is a little bit spiced.

:(

Mexicans and their love for spice is

Are you vegetarian?
Then this is for you.
m.youtube.com/watch?v=F0kEd6smMBQ

>They're pretty bad IMO

Why? Any particular reason or is it just because they lower the spices like you said? What are some good indian beef dishes btw?

Kitboga on twitch
Indians are so honest

>Any particular reason or is it just because they lower the spices like you said?
Yes, it degrades the quality of the dish. Doesn't feel so homely.

>What are some good indian beef dishes btw?
I don't eat beef but ik some dishes in India.
This is beef and parotta from Kerala.
In North India you could find beef Nihari in some areas.

Looks yummy. Thanks :3

You wot?

I had three raw chicken eggs, two pieces of rye bread and some tea.
Too lazy to cook

Also that's lots of food. Are you going to eat all of that at once?!

love a good rye bread
also love the russian pâté varieties i've tried, can't get enough of it
hey what kind of tea do you guys normally drink over there?

I like vindaloo
tfw its portugeuse

Raw eggs?
Why?
Just put them on a pan with some salt and you could have an omellte.
Or is it a dish in Russia?

He eats his balls.
Finns are weird.

I couldn't eat everything, I'll leave some.

If you're a boxer the raw egg white is the best protein

>hey what kind of tea do you guys normally drink over there?
Various kind of black tea are #1 here. Teabags are frowned upon and considered low-tier stuff. No milk, some people add sugar but many dont, sometimes a slice of lemon is added.

It' Indo-Portuguese actually.

aloo is potato American
not native to south Asia

Breakfast: - Oatmeal
- Milk
- Mate
- 1 Boiled egg

I'm a simple man.

Lmao aloo means potato in hindi.
m.youtube.com/watch?v=t3jxhF1fFlk

you a skim milk or full milk man?

>Raw eggs?
>Why?
No cooking required, no chewing required. I'm lazy as fuck.
>Just put them on a pan with some salt and you could have an omellte.
I try to stay away from fried food.
If I'm not that lazy and I have no leftover food for the breakfast I cook porridge on milk, then add frozen berries to cool it down quickly and hard boil few eggs.
>Or is it a dish in Russia?
No, it's not. It's just a way to eat eggs.

here in south Belize if it's not white you can't eat it because it may turn on the auto non white killing white tanks

Finland into homosex too?

>- 1 Boiled egg
Just one boiled egg?
When I was lifting heavy I had 6-8 eggs for breakfast, + 0.7L of whole milk, and porridge/oatmeal, plus berries or fruits.

If we are talking about tea, then try chai.
m.youtube.com/watch?v=yR6I1ebjUwU

>Finland into homosex too?
I doubt that.

Can I suck your dick?

Aloo means potato
potato tubers originated from America. sorry I should have been clearer

/mämmi/ is very homosex, though.

I had a chicken bacon deluxe from mc donalds and a bottle of water.

Man, I wish I didn't come from an anglo country when I read food threads.

Yes.
I am not denying that potato is from America but aloo has been here for millenniums because India was a major trade country in Asia.

No, I'm not gay.

>McDonalds
Feeling sad for you desu.

yes you had aloo when colonies were established with the new world
my point is, it isn't some ancient Indian food.

this is my culture, respect it pls

Attached: IMG_2068.jpg (4032x3024, 2.44M)

Spices were, and beautiful. But it is a fusion dish. Hate that term btw fusion.

Portuguese traded with us when we weren't a colony also I am not saying potato is native of India.

Magnificent.
Enjoy ameribro.

well we agree as i said
aloo is American

Name the dishes please.

Both, I don't complain about the food , my family was poor when I was a boy so I learned to thanks what is in the table.

I'm not lifting so... 1 is fine, maybe 2.

Gravy is a sauce made from the juices from whatever else you've cooked, you know like a roast joint. Posh word is roux. adding some red wine in. you pour it over vegetables

The white stuff is gravy- just a different type that goes well with southern biscuits and hash browns. good shit t bh

bhai saab... you make me want to go back home

I eat Tamil food only

the white stuff is known as "sausage gravy" and it is both the most digusting and delicious thing on the face of the earth.
Jesus christ, i need fucking waffle house again.

The only option available in our "diverse gastronomy": arepa.

Step aside plebs.
