What the actual fuck did I just watch?

What the actual fuck did I just watch?

A better version of Black Swan

it's not a particularly mindfuckey movie, op, what's wrong?

you're a big guy

edgy shit and

what movie have a better midfuckery?

Satoshikino

pure quinoa

I didn''t get it

So like did she commit the murders or not?
What the fuck was up with the creepy stalker, was he a good guy or a bad guy?
How much of it was real and how much was in her mind?
How come her ghost was able to physically harm her? Shit makes no sense

Also, was there an overall message/moral to the story?

A lot of Satoshi Kon's other movies are more confusing. Paprika is good. Paranoia Agent is better.

Paranoia Agent went to shit after that fantasy land shit

You are wrong.
The ending to that series is absolute kinography

Are any other of kon's movies worth watching?
I've only seen this so far

Yeah, basically all of them. As long as Susumu Hirasawa does the soundtrack, it's great.

a worse version of black swan

They were the same person all along. Rumi is the end result of her delusion.

>it's an anime on Sup Forums episode

pure kanola senpai

There was no ghost you dumb shit, it was Rumi all along

An actual good movie. Not the shit hollywood shits out.

A pretty standard giallo elevated by stellar animation

I cosplayed as her once at an anime con about 8 years ago because her outfit is cute. Got fucked by a random guy, good times.

Entry level garbage.

Dude So Random And Absurd Anime Movie #6923

90% of anime is like this. Paprika is even worse.

his most overrated film.

Millennium Actress is his best.

I hope this is a joke post

Is this from Dragon Ball super?

>Paprika is good

AM i the only one who doesn't think this? I actually thought it wasn' t that good.

There's nothing in the movie to suggest that

This

>There's nothing in the movie to suggest that

Except the part where Rumi said she used to be a pop idol

The movie is the delusion of Rumi wanting to go back to the good old days when she was attractive and popular, and not just a fat manager

Every single one.

Tokyo Godfathers is the best, though. It's odd: the man known for doing mindfuck media that confuses the hell out of the viewer has his magnum opus be a fairly straightforward, simple story about coincidence, the different types of love, and chance.

I think Paprika requires (at least) a second watch. I liked it more than Inception either way.

Why would it be?

Oh well then unfortunately youre a low quality woman

>Woman
Swing and a miss.

Millennial can't handle story telling more complicated than game of thrones.

It's not a mind blowing movie but it was a fun movie I thought and like the other user said it's better than Inception

You're not wrong but the sequence of her going into and out of dreams, acting, and being chased is amazingly manic and puts Kon comparable to Lynch with his own style of psychological horror.

>Dissing paranoia agent
Shut up faggot, nobody likes you.
